23 October 2023 we came home to water draining out our entry light fixture. We hired a roofer to come inspect at 1800 23 October 2023. He inspected the attic and took pictures. He informed us that whoever installed the shingles used incorrect nails and it’s only concentrated in the area where the leak is. Stated the project manager should have caught this and fixed prior to closing. 3rd party inspection does not look for nails in attic. We are having to pay to have the roof fixed and the drywall replaced. We don’t know how long this has been going on and what other damages there are unless we have all the walls inspected.
Desired outcome: I’d like to work this out internally as this is not on the homeowner with the hopes AW will take responsibility. If not, we will get legal counsel.
