I went shopping briefly this afternoon. I shop at Old Navy quite often. For some reason their card reader seemed to be having some issue. My transaction was incomplete. She proceeded to ask me to run it again - no problem. I asked her if it worked this time via chip or if I should swipe. She proceeded to then say, "Well it's telling me your card is declined I can try again and run as credit so it won't pull out right away" I proceeded to tell her there is no way it should be getting declined and asked to try again. She rolled her eyes at me asking. Once again ran the card, and look at that approved and completed. The worst part is the girl basically threw the bag at me and didn't say another word. It's like she was convinced my card HAD to be getting declined and I was wrong. I understand terminals can act up but her attitude about it was NOT appreciated.
