On a rainy day in December 2022, I took my vehicle for inspection and the result was pass for the emission but failed the safety, the agent stated my shocks were leaking oil. I went on to explain the shocks are six months old and vehicle was driven no more than a dozen times duo to my medical condition, I tried sticking my finger into the shocks and the agent stated that's not water and that the oil is odorless. The agent then stated that it will cost $1300 to replace and that he would give me 6 months at a 6% to pay-off, I then went to another place and found that of course my shocks were still new, and nothing was leaking so I passed the Safety inspection. On 7/24/23 my daughter took her vehicle for the same Inspections and the failed, the same agent started the same rutine and tried charging my daughter for leaking shocks $900 and yes the same rehearsed lines all over again, my daughter then went to someone else and found that nothing was wrong with her shocks and passed after all she is bin driving her car for just about a year from school to work and home. My daughter then overheard the same agent on the phone saying the same lines all over again to another unsuspecting person trying to overcharge them for something that's probably a lie.
