Ross Dress for Less

I was given a discount because product was slightly damaged. It was a lamp. I took it home and the scale was too small for the room. I did not take the tags off or damage it. I returned it the next day and was told I couldn't return or exchange it for anything else. They pretty told me I was "stuck" with it. I can understand if I tried it out, had it for a few days, but I literality transported it to my house and back and now I'm stuck with it. This is the most ridiculous policy ever. It doesn't have any backing of reason behind it. You can probably turn around and sell it immediately. A company of your scale can make judgement calls as to who you would reinforce the policy. An obvious criminal that is trying to scam your company, absolutely enforce the policy, but to someone who is patronizing your business? Such a poor choice it really left a bad mark.
