McDonald's - Employee disrespect

Sunday January 21, 2024 approximately 6:15 p.m.

I placed an order through the drive thru - big mac, chocolate shake and a number 1 medium with large sweet tea. The order was through the automated service. I pull around to pay and the girl at the window was, and always has been, kind to me. I paid for the order and pulled forward to wait for the order. The younger girl that gave me the food was not friendly, and just very sour. She opened the window stuck the bag out the window and shut the window. I said, before the window completely closed - you forgot my sweet tea - in which she turned around like I was annoying her and got the sweet tea for me. She opened the window offered the tea and my sister who was with me kindly said to her - my order is wrong. Instead of just a regular big mac they placed a special order big mac with sauce only. So the girl took the sandwich turned around and handed it to the supposed "manager" and the manager approached the window, slung it open and said "this is what you ordered" to which I replied yes ma'am I did order 2 big macs but one is incorrect. She cut me off and said you ordered 2 big macs and that's what you paid for. I tried to explain but she would not allow me. So she proceeds to tell me, not ask me politely, to 'move forward' and she will bring it out and I did say to her that I didn't appreciate being spoken to in such a rude manner. All I was trying to do was get my order corrected. In the meantime, the first girl came back to the window and "told me to move forward", I said okay but first I want the managers name to which she replied " I don't know what it is." I asked her what her name was and she just shut the window and walked away. The manager came back to the window, shoved the 'corrected' big mac out the window and told me to leave. I said that I would leave as soon as I acquired her name and she said no, I am not giving you my name. I told her I was going to sit here until I got her name because I was going to report her to corporate to which she replied I will call corporate myself. She left the window, called someone and in the meantime, my nephew went inside the restaurant to let them know that we were upset because we were verbally assaulted and were being treated with extreme disrespect. So, while on the phone, the 'manager' approached my nephew with a bag that contained an order of french-fries and handed them to him. My nephew returns to the car with the bag of fries and says she gave me french-fries. The 'manager' came back to the window and said " I corrected your order and gave you your fries now leave. I said ma'am we didn't order extra fries and I attempted to hand them back to her which she would not take so I put them on the ledge to the window and she literally screamed 'she just assaulted me with the french-fries. She then calls the sheriff and blatantly lies to him and says I assaulted her with the bag of french-fries. The sheriff approaches my window, asks what is going on - I explained to him the issue of our big mac being made incorrectly and he asked me if I had assaulted her with a bag of french-fries to which I replied no sir I did not assault her with a bag of french-fries-I was trying to return them because french-fries were not the issue. He proceeded to tell me that if I was lying to him that would be another charge added and informed me that they have cameras to which I replied - please watch the video of the encounter and it will show I did not assault her with a bag of french-fries. He asked what my name was and my social and asked my sister what her social was and jotted it down on his notepad. He goes back inside talks to the so called manager comes back out and informs me that me and my sister are being charged with trespassing and we are never to return to this particular McDonald's and if we do we will be arrested to which I replied that is not problem sir there are plenty of McDonald's in this town. He also said that it was not worth it and I agreed. I apologized to him for being called out to such a ridiculous matter and left the premises.

Claimed loss: I would like an apology for being treated so badly.

Desired outcome: I would like to see the 2 employees that I was in direct contact with be reprimanded for their unprofessionalism. Neither one, in my opinion, should be working with the public.
