Cleveland Clinic - Valet parking receptionists

Without fail, every day I have had to interact with the receptionists for the valet parking in the Main Campus building, I have been treated as if I were just a burden to them. These people are NOT friendly..AT ALL, and always are "curt" and act "put out" if you should have an extra question for them.

There is no need to treat people visiting the clinic, who may be experiencing life-changing tragedies or are at least may be going through stressful situations, as if they are "non-human".

I have been visiting my husband in the ICU daily for almost 4 weeks now, and I dread each time I have to purchase a 7-day parking pass from them.

Cleveland Clinic - Loss of patient items multiple times while in hospital. $300 samsung tablet, $100 shoes.

Patient remains in hospital at this time. Patient #[protected]

Problem is that when the patient is transferred from Step down unit to ICU which has happened multiple times over the 4 months, his personal items are lost by the hospital on 2 different occasions.

Family was told that the items were sent to security when patient was transferred to ICU. When we checked with security to pick up his personal items, family was told these items were lost, gone, not to be found.

We notified Ombundsman multiple times regarding Samsung Tablet and was told it has been denied replacement. Now the family is forced to replace the samsung tablet/identical replacement for $400.00. This item was lost by security and I feel it is the hospitals responsibility to replace the item because it was NOT the patient who lost it, It was the hospital and now the patient is left without without a valuable and much needed item going on 2-3 months!

The second incident just occurred this past week. Patient was sent to ICU and security lost a $100.00 pair of shoes. We made multiple calls through the bureaucracy. We called Ombundsman, told to call floor Nursing Manager, called Floor Nursing Manager, told to call Ombundsman. Frustrated wondering why we are wasting our time to be reimbursed for $100.00 pair of shoes we know will be declined! This is such an the added stress on patient/family not to mention loss! Patient has been in hospital for 4 months! Hope you can help!

Lost 400.00 Samsung tablet

100.00 pair of shoes
