Hi there,
Panera Bread in Hoboken has been my favorite one for a long time. However, there's now a newly hired manager who ruined the place. Firstly, she removed all chairs at the front window. Then she covered all electric outlets. Eventually she decided to make a place only a a take-away branch. She left the benches and soft seating but removed the tables... She also made some doors to isolate the sitting area and keeps it empty. Can you imagine? Am I suppose to sit on those benches without a table? How do I dine in?
I used to have lunch hear and then continue working remotely. I would spend my company's money ordering food. However, now it's even possible to sit down.

Panera Bread - Broccoli cheddar soup
At the hoboken NJ location today my husband was eating broccoli cheddar soup. He felt something hard and spit out a whole fingernail. Yes. Disgusting. I showed the manager. He did not say sorry. Or anything. I asked for a refund and he only refunded the soup. We threw away our whole $30 meal. I could never eat at Panera again. I could not believe he couldn't even say sorry. Or offer a pastry or something to my crying two year old who now had no food to eat since our food was contaminated. I work in a restaurant and have NEVER seen such terrible customer service. It was a disgusting mistake but their reaction made it worse. They don't care about customer or cleanliness. I will be calling the health department
