Sonic Drive-In - Management

1. Ordered at 8:38pm. Was there about 8:45pm. Attempted to check in via the red button in stall 11 because I wanted a bag of ice also. Just wanted to add a bag of ice - was at stall 11 - I pushed the button 3 or 4 times over a 20 minute Tim span. Very patient, not in a big hurry. After killing 20 minutes & no response. I did see others leaving without ordering. I Never received a response. So, I finally went back to app on my phone and checked in to stall 11. Yes fast & friendly, they brought order very quickly. I am thinking "yes" all is good this time. Wrong.
2. I ask for a bag of ice please. While they were gone to get ice, I discovered my 3 route 44 drinks were not as I ordered. Wrong drinks!
3. Very nice said so sorry, will fix. Took a bit of time, but they returned in a legitimate amount of time - I assumed they had to make tea. No biggie - wrong
4. the 3 new drinks were basically water. They did not have any taste or smell of tea. The one that was supposed to be sweet peach tea did have a hint of peach flavor - no tea flavor according to one person with me. Ok so I catch car hop prior to him getting away & show him. He is so confused by this time - I say either replace or refund. He says ok, I will get manager. I say ok, but I think you can show him and all will be good. Just let me know.
5. I was still waiting at 9:34pm. I finally just drove off with a 1/4 melted bag of ice, no drinks & 2 cold burgers and a cold order of large mot sticks.
In my opinion they owe me an apology, and 2 hot burgers, large mot sticks, and 3 rt-44 drinks times 2.
No, this sonic is a disgrace to the sonic logo! I very seldom go to this sonic, just because it is so bad. Do not get me wrong, the car hops are extremely kind, but it scares them to death to have to take anything back that is wrong or any little mishap. I do not know if it is the mgr, owner, shift mgr, senior car hop or what but someone needs to put a knot 🪢 in someone's back side or lose their job! And it is not the children - they are very polite & kind, just scared for some reason!
I am not exaggerating when I say I may have used this sonic 10 times in the last year - and 9 of the 10 times something is wrong 😑 it is so bad that if I do use this sonic, I do not expect to get much quality even if I get the correct order. Either they put a ton of salt on the food, water substituted in place of tea, cold food like straight from frig cold or something.
I ordered a burger there last week for my daughter (she loves yalls double cheese burgers with cheese) I told her that was only sonic near me at the time - she said well it's not a busy time, and has been quite for a bit since the lunch crowd - maybe. LOL. I ordered her 2 of the double cheeseburgers from Ozark, Missouri sonic - Both burgers had 4 slices of refrigerator cold cheese, no ketchup & the bun was cold. Crappy burger. It is like this all the time. I have always been a huge Sonic person! However, since I have been in the Ozark, Missouri community - I have almost quit sonic all together. The Casey's & Kum-n-go has better food and will bring to auto while I pump my fuel! Yes that horrible! I am sorry, but it is time someone says something. What's so bad is I always liked going to my local sonic because it allows me to support the local kids in the community. I always try to give my car hop at least a dollar or more no matter what I order. This hurts the kids pockets also when the food is crap and it takes an act of Congress to get it fixed, not counting the time! Plus, I feel guilty asking for a food or drink fix when I see the look of fear & horror on their faces. I have started just saying it's fine and go on down to gas station and trash and get one there. And if I do ask for a fix - Yes - way too much time! I drove off tonight after 2 attempts and another 20 to 30 minutes Had passed. I lost 45 minutes unnecessarily!
Look, I do not usually report this unless it is really bad - but I really felt for the car hop. And no I was not mean in any way, I did not use any ugly words or anything other than clear matter of a fact English language. I did not holler or raise my voice. Everyone in the auto was much more upset than I was.

Desired outcome: Don’t know I gave up and drove off!
