So, I just got off the phone with a customer service associate. After putting me on a 5 minute hold, they proceed with our call without apologizing or even thanking me for holding, jumping right in to what I want/need in annoyance from their tone.
They were unprofessional and rude enough to just hang up on me after giving my requested information. A question as simple as if my warranty was still valid. I couldn't see where the aggravation could be, I wasn't calling to complain, or waste your time or even mine.
To my understanding, being a customer service associate, you are required to assist customers on a daily basis. To even assist with the most ridiculous questions/request. Hence, the customer service associates title.
I'd probably be okay with just a fast bye. Our call ended with, "yup, " and a click. I'm not sure who that customer service associate was trained by, but that is no way to serve your customers.
