Walgreens - Customer service

Older woman with glasses I believe her name is Betty, she is extremely mean, rude and very impatient with customers!

I came in to grab a few things this morning and had a simple question, but when I tried to ask her, I was surprisingly interrupted with her rudely explaining I don't know I'm not the product, all I can do is scan it and see and I said okay great let me run to check the price on one item just to make sure itll work and she got irritated that I couldn't remember what the price was she said well u already have it in your cart right here I told you I can just scan it and see I said okay but that still won't answer my question if I can't remember the price of one of them, when she scanned them she kept saying I told u this already then says I told u this now its been 5 times I've told you shesaid! Even though she didnt understand that the price she gave me still didnt answer my question at all because I couldnt remember the price to one of them she wouldnt even take the time to try to understand me or help me long story short I had to have her call a manager just to ask my question and he answered it very respectfully in one second, that's all I asked for was an answer and She refused to even try and was very condescending and humiliating, definitely not someone who should be working around customers.

Walgreens - Pharmacy technician

11/18/21 - Walgreens Pharmacy drive-thru W. 6th Street Lawrence, KS

At approx 10:30 am this morning, I walked to our neighborhood Walgreens to pick up prescriptions. I went through the drive-thru as I was pushing a 6 passenger buggy with children who are too young to wear masks to safely enter the store. Upon entering the window (fully masked), the technician began shaking her head no and scolding me that she would help me today, but it wouldn't happen again and that I should not be in a drive-thru as I was being dangerous with children. While she is welcome to her silent opinion, it is not her responsibility to scold customers and honestly it is just as dangerous to walk the kids to a nearby park and cross a street. No where is it posted that all drive-thru customers need to enter the drive-thru in a vehicle or they will not be helped. I would never put my children in danger and at no time felt that we were in danger today. She did give me my prescriptions, but did not tell me how to take them or ask if I had any questions. Isn't that her job? I had to look up online how to administer the first dose of one of the meds. As a result of her overall rude behavior and inattention to relaying how I should administer the meds correctly for my safety, my family and I will choose not to frequent the 6th Street Walgreens Pharmacy again.

Desired outcome: Ask the customer if they have questions about the meds the are receiving and keep unwarranted opinions to self
