Today Feb 1, 2023, at 2pm I went into the ATT store on 2620 Enterprise Rd, Orange City, FL 32763.
I was needing help with my home wireless box. I spoke to an employee who then referred me to the manager. I watched the employee walk over to 2 gentlemen sitting at a table and it looked like they were helping a customer. The employee said something to 1 of the gentleman and then said that the manager will be with you in a few minutes.
My problem is with the store manager. He and another employee were on their phones doing Lord knows what. NEVER ONCE acknowledged me, to be honest, I don't feel that he was ever going to. I feel like he was hoping I would just go away, so he wouldn't have deal with me. While I patiently waited for him to finish doing whatever it was he was doing. he looked my way 2 and never once said a word! This is extremely unacceptable behavior! I have been a very loyal ATT customer for many years and now I am considering leaving. I have NEVER experienced this kind of behavior from any employee at ATT. They have always been extremely helpful and generally have gone above and beyond! Shame on you ATT for allowing this kind of behavior from your managers! This is an extremely poor way to treat customers.
Desired outcome: I would like this manager to be spoken to and put on warning. As a manager, you are expected to deal with all kinds of people. If you are unable to do that, or don't want to do that, then you shouldn't be a manager.
