Happy New Year, I was in your store this afternoon located at 17542 Hawthorne Blvd., Torrance CA at approx. 1:30pm, 12/31/2021. I was there to buy a pair of batting gloves, I think my 6th or 7th pair. However, I want be buying an 8th pair. Reason being I was disrespected and downright insulted by one cashier's behavior. One line was open and the other cashier was helping someone I was next in line. The cashier in question was in a conversation with a gentlemen not in line but off to the side, she could plainly see me standing in line but kept on with her conversation. The gentleman in front of me had to go to his vehicle to retrieve something at which time another lady approached on the other side and ask where the line was. At that time the cashier in question answered "I can help you" when she finished I was still waiting in line I was sure she was going to tell me she would help me but instead she kept her back turned and started doing something else. At that point I placed the gloves on a shelf and walked out. I will never go in that store again, possibly any Big 5 store. I came home and ordered off Amazon. I'm going to shout it out to anyone who will listen how I was treated. I will inform all my friends, which some have very influential positions in the community, my coworkers which number 75, my relatives, my barber and my mother-in-law (boy, oh boy). I didn't get her name but you can figure that out from my info. She was blonde (I guess) and possibly spanish. Regardless of the race in these times we all should be bonding together not doing anything that would divide us. I mean why would she be this rude to me, I just came in to purchase an item and be on my way. I left the store without my item, upset, confused and ashamed. Thank you. Please don't push this aside.
Desired outcome: At least a write up. Don't want her fired
