Dollar Tree - Manager of store opens repeatedly late, and the store is a mess

I visited the Washington Avenue store around or about 12/11/22 at 8:50 a.m. The staff were waiting inside their vehicles and another disabled employee was sitting on bricks waiting near the entrance. Another customer and I heard an employee say, the manager was going to be late. By 9:00, the manager had not arrived and at least a dozen of potential customers came and noticed the store wasn't opened and left. The manager arrived at 9:35 a.m. driving into the parking lot with her music blasting loudly. As she approached the door, many customers standing near the entrance were talking amongst us saying how horrible it was for a manager to arrive late and Corporate does not have a backup employee with a key to the store. When she approached the entrance, I jokingly said, "well, what type of discount are you going to give us for waiting?" Her response was, "nothing but free music." She was VERY rude and had no respect for her employees, customers or the business. While standing outside looking inside the store, I noticed the floors were a mess with merchandise, dirt, etc. I told the manager she was very rude and really did not care about the customers waiting, she raised her shoulders while expressing she didn't care.

I learned while shopping in the store that this manager is often late for her shift and opening the shore. I urge you to interview your employees who has worked with this manager to get their feedback. When I left from inside the store, I noticed she was sitting on bricks outside watching a movie on her phone. Clearly, she should had been inside cleaning the store or providing assistance to the disabled employee who looked like he was struggling trying to open.

She appeared to be under the influence. I said, "goodbye Stephanie." She responded, "goodbye." I told her I was going to notify Corporate and that's when she offered her last name. She said she had been with the Company for 15-years or so. I told her the biggest ones fall also baby girl.

This employee lacks professionalism, diplomacy, good character and the skills of being a manager. It is very clear that upper management are not aware of this behavior.

Desired outcome: The manager needs to be terminated because clearly, she does not take her job seriously and I would love to have a $50 gift card for what I endured.
