Stanton Optical - Nike sports glasses

I purchased these expensive sports glasses from Stanton Optical (SO) in April 2022, less than a year ago. I have worn these glasses maybe 5 times that I only ever used to play softball at night... maybe 4 to 5 times max ever worn. To this date, they are practically brand new. No lens scratches. No frame damage at all. 2 weeks ago, I removed them from the glasses' case to wipe the left lenses and the plastic wire holding the lenses in place snapped. I'm thinking "no big deal, I'll just drop them off at my tomorrow at my local Stanton Optical store office to have them fixed because surely they can reinstall a simple wire to reattach to the glasses frame. 2 weeks later I get a call from them stating that cannot get the wire to remain in the tiny hole and stay firm enough to tighten because the tines hole has expanded. I'm not thinking"What are you saying, I'm being issued a new pair of glasses because you can't repair them?" No, they simply said they cannot figure out how to repair them because the tiny hole is damaged or growing. I replied,"Well doesn't common sense tell you that your repair shop made the hole bigger and growing because of their attempts to get the string to stay? The hole and frame was perfectly fine. The on-site manager made sure of that BEFORE they took possession of the glasses to send it off to be repair.

In conclusion, Stanton Optical provided bad customer service. There was no damage to the tiny hole or frame. The repair personnel that tried to reinstall and/or fix the glasses damaged the tiny hole and could figure out a fix and sent it back to my local Stanton Optical store and fed them a lie that the tiny hole got bigger and the plastic wire cannot be reinstalled. So now, I'm out of luck because one of their technicians damaged my glasses frame. I have been buying my glasses from SO for at least the last decade, or since they started here in San Diego; never again. I'm big on honesty and integrity as a retired veteran. I will not ever do business with so again.

Desired outcome: All I wanted was the repair of the wire the snapped holding my lense. If it costed, I can handle that, but I should have to but another pair of glasses since they damaged the tiny frame hole.
