On 11/30/22 at approx. 8:58pm I ordered 2 burgers, and used coupons, from the drivethru at Carl;s Jr. Store #1100817. The Order #239376. When the cashier gave me the total I questioned it because it was way too much. When I got to the window, I gave her the money and asked for a receipt. She gave me the receipt and I looked it over and the charges on it were all correct. Then I did the math and realized that the total before tax was close to $6 too much. I pointed this out to the girl, who was very nice, and she rang it up again, twice! Both times getting the same total. She then went and retrieved a calculator and did the math manually, more than once. She realized the same thing I did and gave me the difference in cash. I am just shocked! Unless you're quick with numbers or have a calculator handy, you wouldn't even catch the error. To look at the charges on the receipt, everything was charged correctly, but the total was wrong. It wasn't her fault, it was the register! How many people has this thing ripped off? How many times was it me? I frequent this store a few times a month. Stay clear!
Desired outcome: First of all, someone needs to fix this asap. With all the money I have spent here, free burgers once a week for my family and I for 6 months sounds fair.
