They spam call my phone everyday when they finally get you to answer they bombard you with questions so fast and serious and they say your whole name saying you have warrants and going to jail then after I pay you never hear from them. This is the second time they have tried to mess with me the first time I actually paid the balance in full. This time it was the same matter they tried to say I didn't pay all of it last time and I still owed 1400 dollars. They continued by saying I will be going to jail and or court to resolve the issue but like I said I've already paid the last time I'm not paying the same thing again. Then it's not a different price it's the same price I paid last time. I lost 100.90 dollars this time. I'm tired of all the spam calls and fake people yelling my name and important details and scaring me into getting scammed. I'm living for my wife and 3 kids 1 on the way I can't keep going thru this with them
Desired outcome: If I can get money back fine but I want this business out of business
Omg this happen to me last week. They know my full name and other information. I did take $83 from me cause I did owe loan from loan company. Now they Threaten me, saying I'm going to jail that they will go to my work and take me to jail from there. I don't know what to do
Having a similar experience. I do owe a payday loan to a company and it was sent to collections. It was sent through a few people and landed here with this company simply called "United". A woman with a new york accent claimed to be named Angelina when I spoke to her, but I have a voicemail from April when she called under the name of Annie. Refer to LUV_BUG8787's post above with a image of a voicemail transcript. The exact same stuff was said in the voicemail I received. Another entirely different woman called 5 times in a matter of ten minutes with a Spoof number to look like my area code stating I had to call a 855 number within 30 minutes to settle the debt or she'd come to my house and serve me papers. Like a idiot I did so and this new york accent lady spoke to me. I called back later realizing the mistake looking for information on their address or anything, and they got hostile claiming they don't have to provide it because I accepted the chain of title or whatever. So I reached out to the original Creditor Advance America and found the two collectors it went to through them. One of them told me this United company was indeed real but couldn't provide a mailing address, just their number. I told that agency what was happening and they IMMEDIATELY pulled the account from them and told apologized and told me I could pay whenever I feel like it with no rush. So these people are somehow real but their either a unlicensed company breaking every FCDPA rule there is, or they just have bad practices. BE CAREFUL.
I'm going threw this at the moment I already made a staring payment plan and their deducting from my account weekly, like everyone here I also ask for papers after paying and all they said was they can email it but now with all this I want to even hold my payments to this agency
About 3 months ago I received the same call, saying I have a warrant ant they would serve me and I had to pay 213.00 paid the first monies, but then called the company that United said I owed and they stated that they do there own calling. So I called my bank to stop payment. United called again and left a message saying that the payment did not go through and I need to call them. My bank is on top of it.
this just happened to me today, they knew so much info & my whole situation. they said cops will be showing up to my home or work & i’ll have a court order if i don’t pay it, i ended up paying half ($450) had to cancel my card and file a dispute. they scared me thinking i was in serious trouble. hope no one else is as gullible as me!

I received this one saying they were from united processing that they bought the collection said they know where I work and there gonna serve me and I will have to go to court and said I have to pay $50 a week for 4 weeks
By chance was it from a lady with a Boston accent? I had a similar thing happen with the exact same wording about a loan I owed on which is a legit loan in collections, but this is so scammy
so i see i am not the only one. this company has threatned and said if i didnt pay that a sheriff will come to my house and rtake me to jail and i would have to stand before a judge. yes i know i owe a PDL for a couple of years now , tbhiught i coukd pay it back made 2 payments and then LIfe got in the way and covid hit so now they have been blowing my phione up and threatned and harrassed my son and my self and all of a sudden this started last friday 5/13/2022 so i called the 1 866 number and she threatend me and saidf i would havew to stand before a judge ,so i gave them my bank info and immediately they took out the first payment which was 275.61 and every 2 wks thereafter 228.61 ... help what should i do .. i just dont have the funds at the moment should i close my account and risk these harrassing calls again... thank you in advance to anyone who answers.. garcialola704@gmail.com to anyone who would like to respond via email...
