There customer support is none existent. All they have is a resource center. Impossible to find an email or a phone number for these scammers. Horrible service. Paying customer and can't get any help with my issue.

Wait in que for email response and Finally succeed in registering account and attempt to purchase, only to be told that the price is for new visitors and that now that I have finally registered my price is 900% higher. Yes 900% higher. Total price gouging and would not recommend this site to anyone. Zero stars if possible.

Horrible company. They periodically offer courses from $10-$15, however that is short-lived. They jack up the price without you knowing so you don't know what you're actually paying. What's more is that they don't add up prices in any sort of bill so you never know how much you owe, or how much you are spending. They are thieves and do this deliberately so that you spend your money into oblivion! It would make more sense if they offered their courses for free. We are in a pandemic and financial crisis right now you would think they would adjust their business practices accordingly. To save money, I would advise you learn what you need to learn for free.

This company plays a trick when you want a refund. There is no live person to talk to. They keep asking to fill this and that form for a refund. They seem to be too shy to talk about providing a refund. No phone contact with the responsible person. Only a front desk which claims he can not forward the call to any department!' Bad business.

Horrible company. They periodically offer courses from $10-$15, however that is short-lived. They jack up the price without you knowing so you don't know what you're actually paying. What's more is that they don't add up prices in any sort of bill so you never know how much you owe, or how much you are spending. They are thieves and do this deliberately so that you spend your money into oblivion! It would make more sense if they offered their courses for free. We are in a pandemic and financial crisis right now you would think they would adjust their business practices accordingly. To save money, I would advise you learn what you need to learn for free.

Udemy - Udemy.com Lost access to all my courses

I tried to change my email address with Udemy. The OLD ADDRESS was my work address, but I retired two weeks ago and lost access to that email address.

Today I tried to change address to my present, personal email address. I followed Udemy's instructions, but rather than changing to a new address, I lost access to my account entirely. I have many courses with Udemy and no way to get into them.

I tried to contact Udemy, but found that they do not have a listed phone number to call. NOTHING! Nor is there a chat room. NOTHING!

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response, ability to change my email address, and access to my account.

Udemy - Udemy.com Possible discrimination of my course

I have been a constant creator on with me since 2020 throughout that time I have noticed some serious defects in the algorithm and pricing issues related to my program.

Because what I taught was not very mainstream. which is Tax lien and Tax Deeds Investment about three years ago I was the only constant creator on Udemy that was teaching this, Per my research.

The first issue was I had my price say a particular amount and they proceeded to cut the price down to more than 50% up to 75% at times. Highlighting that at one point they started selling my course for 599 without my permission.

I did inquire with the customer service representative about the issues that I was finding related to the price. They stated that because the traffic was coming in on their platform this is why it was price so low. My response was that I did not know it would be priced that low. As per the terms and conditions, it did not state that.

Then, I noticed that my program only sells one or two courses a month. Which only generates about $10 a month. At this time after having 109 students enrolled. I have a 3.99 course rating out of 4 rating. I only generate $521 as of today July 2023.

Also, what I have noticed as per their email response to why my course was not going through the algorithm. They stated that there Course distribution can be directly related to. I’m not sure what that means but this was the response that I got via email see below.

After doing a review on “Pissed customer” on May 2023. I have not received any course sales through the platform. which highlights the discrimination and restrictions that is taking place.

This is called red lining online this is turning into a major issue across many platforms

Udemy - Udemy.com I have purchased multiple courses over the past few years

I have purchased multiple courses over the past few years. Part of the reason I purchased was because udemy claims you have forever access and can download the courses for off line use via the udemy app. All was fine until about a week ago, they deleted all my downloads (3.4 GB). Customer support gave Some weird platform security excuse and suggested I redownload, but I spend most of my time in ***...downloading is not easy or cheap. I then retired to download again anyway...I downloaded like 2% of one course...and they deleted it again! This is not a hardware issue or an issue on my part. Being unable to have my courses downloaded makes my udemy purchases meaningless. I would like full refunds of all my courses.

Technical issues and support and audio issues from sorten program I unarchive one of the programs I accidentally buy and downloaded by mistake which is certified professional coders *** I think its called/the price too I enjoy udemy , but, should run special and deals and add more programs

On January 15, 2022, I paid for an online class through Udemy in the amount of $29.28. On January 18, 2022, Udemy suspended my account without just cause during a holiday for which I wasn't even online. I was not able to take the class that I paid for. I can't log in to my account and I have been requesting my money back ever since. Udemy has failed to give me a reason why I am not able to have a refund for a class that I am unable to take. I have sent several emails, reached out to their customer service department, and still have not been given a refund. It's not right for me to pay for a class but not be able to take the class. Regardless of anything else, I just want a refund for the class that I paid for, but am not able to take.

I signed up for Udemys 7 day free trial(since I had a little break after finishing the first term). I forgot to cancel(I just started college again and didnt use it much so I totally forgot about it) and was charged. I immediately reached out and asked for a refund as soon as I received the email and asked that if they could cancel the subscription. I reached out to the help center which is online and was told that they would not be able to refund me though I provided a screenshot of when I was charged and explained that I couldnt use it. I could understand if it passed 10 days and I reached out to them about the issue but it was not. This is like punishmentbeing forced to pay/take something you have no time forI still wont have time to take the courses. My request number is #***.

I bought and paid for at least 15 different classes on the Udemy online learning platform. Upon starting certain classes I found that the *** (from ***) speakers were very difficult to understand. I work in information technology and deal with such speakers daily and I became quite upset as I paid good, hard-earned money for these classes that were now essentially useless to me. I wrote Udemy and expressed this concern. I used profanity, one word and they banned me from the platform. I did not threaten or harass, I merely expressed myself and suggested that instructors should at least speak passable, non heavily accented English if they are going to teach. I requested a full refund of only the classes that I had not yet started. Udemy informed me that no refunds would be given. In America, we call that theft. I request a full refund of the unstarted classes and an apology from Udemy for allowing their personal views to impact a professionally unsound decision. Thank you

I bought a course around 5/29/22 for ***. The course was misleading and did not provide what was advertised. The site did give me my money back but would not perform an even exchange for a similar course even though that is what I wanted.The customer service was rude and gave me an "I'm sorry you're upset" response. This was very rude to *** am seeking an additional $25 for my time being wasted and them not taking the correct action when I called.

The courses areso outdated they are impossible to follow. They are instructing to click on things that are just not there because they wrote the class when the IoT platform was in beta and the current IoTplatform is completely different. frustrating to follow for an IoT beginner as that is the level they have written to. how can a student follow when they are spending all of their time looking for things that are not where they say they are. They need to get busy and rewrite this course so it is relevant and can be followed. this is my second course purchased where I am having the same problem. the ESP32/GPS course is even worse as it was written for a version of *** that is no longer supported and none of the instructions match.

Udemy 's website promises a 30 day money back guarantee in an effort to make customers well comfortable about buying courses. I bought a course on 2D animation 2022, to find out that this animation course was made in the ***s and is outdated to the point where is not useful in year 2022. I flipped through so of the videos so see if the course was helpful to me and it was not. I file for a refund and Udemy denied me a refund even after they promised me a 30 day money back guarantee. I contacted Udemy staff and I have still yet to be refunded my money. The course is also missing video and Udemy is still not refunding my money.

I bought multiple Udemy online courses from an instructor (Lazy Programmer). At the time I purchased the online courses, the instructor (Lazy Programmer) advertised that all his code notebooks on the course material would be available in the course. Now that 30 days (of money back guarantee) are over on the purchased courses and I cannot ask for my money back, the instructor has removed his code notebooks from the course and is requiring that I request him for the notebooks. I have requested the instructor several times via form and email but the instructor, Lazy Programmer, is not giving me access to the code notebooks.Udemy is saying that they are not responsible for the course material. I believe this is cheating on part of the instructor because I purchased the courses on the basis of the instructor advertising that he would make the code notebooks available to all buyers. Udemy assured me lifetime access to the course.I have attached email conversation with instructor who writes that I should not use his code notebooks.

I did NOT order anything. I tried the product. I canceled the trial within a few days, at least two or three days before the end of the trial period. l was charged this morning for a subscription I didn't want. I've emailed them and issued a refund request. They say the trial was never canceled, which is nonsense. It's conveniently not canceled in their system somehow. Total garbage. See your complaint section and others have had the same thing happen to them. They've responded with emails pointing me to a refund section that doesn't exist for subscription purchases (Again, I didn't purchase.) It only has options for when you actually purchase a course outright.They're simply refusing to issue a refund for a charge that was never supposed to happen in the first place. It's ridiculous!

Hello,One year ago, our Udemy account was banned due to violations of Udemy's terms on November 13. Our Payoneer account is linked with the Udemy account. At that point, Udemy also have taken action on their end to disable our access to Payoneer. It's been over a year now, we want to withdraw the remaining funds from our Payoneer account. On the 5th and the 9th of January , I made two (2) purchases with Udemy. I purchased courses from them for some reason they appeared for a few days afterwards all of them disappeared until today I don't have access to those courses, when they are supposed to remain there for a life time period. Their telephone number doesn't work, I had summited a request directly on their website, I tried to contact the support by email with no answer. I even send messages by Instagram, still no answer.

It says I can get refund anytime in 30 days.I finished the course yesterday and found it's not big data related at all and you have to register another course for big data. But why it's called big data pipeline? that's cheating.Then I tried to get refunded today on 03/31/22 (only a few days since I ordered). I can't. The message is "This course is not eligible for a refund based on your viewing history. In accordance with our refund policy, you have watched too much of this course to request a refund." I'm so confused - can I get refunded in 30 days or not? how come I found it's not big data pipeline related if I didn't finish it.The Udemy refund policy is totally a scam. I need my money back ($14.83) and stay away from this company.

Udemy - Udemy.com I bought one of their courses

I bought one of their courses. The course says that there is a 30 day money-back garauntee. The course is terrible, and I requested my money back. they agreed to give me a refund. The "refund" is a credit on an my udemy account. A refund means that I can spend the money at any store, a Store credit means that I can only use it at the origional store. I'm not sure what makes any company, who wants to keep doing business in the US, do something like this. Such an obviously bad move. If people don't think they can trust you with their money, they stop giving you their money. I was actually suprised at how insulting, and openly stupid this move is. They decided the next best step is to ignore my emails for a real refund. You're not in bangledesh anymore - when a customer wants their money back. It's always cheaper to give them their money back. I want a refund to the card on file.

Udemy - Udemy.com I purchased an Excel basic course on the site

I purchased an Excel basic course on the site. I was never given access to the course. I have an email saying you are in! But there is no way to access the class. I paid for it on Black Friday, when they were advertising a giant sale. The sale remains the same today. There is no response from customer service. I need to use this class today. I am not going to buy another one. I will have to go to another site to buy a different class, and I will need a full refund from this business.I find it strange that one of the sections in the help section is how to find your missing class. It seems to me they do this on purpose, make it difficult for you to find the things you pay for so you will pay for it again. And with no customer service to respond to you, Im sure they get away with it. This is a terrible business practice. I also do not see a way to leave a *** review for this company.

A continuation ID "***"The complaint was closed prematurely as the faux "resolution" did not even occur until several weeks after this complaint appears to have been closed "automatically", thus no resolution could have been reached.I was contacted several WEEKS after the closing of this ticket to review the issue. Many days after this initial contact via *** a CSR of "Udemy *** I was told it would be several more days and was left in limbo awaiting the "resolution" after the ticket was. I was issued a "refund" for 144 courses, theses refunds were applied to closed accounts, accounts that had expired, etc. I can literally only account for 25 of the 144 courses I was given a "refund for"... When I reached out to the *** for "Udemy *** I was told that is the business practice and there is nothing he could do.I subsequently submitted an official demand for a full invoice as I am liable for taxes state and local for these funds. I have full documentation.

Udemy - Udemy.com I have purchased 200+ courses

I have purchased 200+ courses ... at a minimum of *** a piece, minimum. Totaling 278 courses in my "lifetime collection"This is a personnel collection that I review and use to support the developers that make the content I to further my technical education.For the last year the content of these courses progressively has been made unavailable to me. I have sent their "help Desk" multiple tickets and even provided multiple examples of debug information and the actual technical references to their issue.I am continually sent "boiler plate" commentary and debug of which I provided actual verification I had done all the advised process, only to have the ticket escalated for months and then being told it would be closed with no resolution.This week I tried again to access the content I paid for on multiple courses and they are now displaying the same error, while others play with no issue, nor anyway to download it.This is clearly an encoding issue or a plugin issue on their end.

Udemy - Udemy.com I bought and paid for at least 15 different classes on the Udemy online learning platform

I bought and paid for at least 15 different classes on the Udemy online learning platform. Upon starting certain classes I found that the *** (from ***) speakers were very difficult to understand. I work in information technology and deal with such speakers daily and I became quite upset as I paid good, hard-earned money for these classes that were now essentially useless to me. I wrote Udemy and expressed this concern. I used profanity, one word and they banned me from the platform. I did not threaten or harass, I merely expressed myself and suggested that instructors should at least speak passable, non heavily accented English if they are going to teach. I requested a full refund of only the classes that I had not yet started. Udemy informed me that no refunds would be given. In America, we call that theft. I request a full refund of the unstarted classes and an apology from Udemy for allowing their personal views to impact a professionally unsound decision. Thank you

Udemy - Udemy.com I bought multiple Udemy online courses from an instructor (Lazy Programmer)

I bought multiple Udemy online courses from an instructor (Lazy Programmer). At the time I purchased the online courses, the instructor (Lazy Programmer) advertised that all his code notebooks on the course material would be available in the course. Now that 30 days (of money back guarantee) are over on the purchased courses and I cannot ask for my money back, the instructor has removed his code notebooks from the course and is requiring that I request him for the notebooks. I have requested the instructor several times via form and email but the instructor, Lazy Programmer, is not giving me access to the code notebooks.Udemy is saying that they are not responsible for the course material. I believe this is cheating on part of the instructor because I purchased the courses on the basis of the instructor advertising that he would make the code notebooks available to all buyers. Udemy assured me lifetime access to the course.I have attached email conversation with instructor who writes that I should not use his code notebooks.

Udemy - Udemy.com I purchased over $100 worth of classes from Udemy during their Black Friday sale just last week

I purchased over $100 worth of classes from Udemy during their Black Friday sale just last week. I have had nothing but issues with their site and app trying to view the course videos. They simply don't play half the time. They said there is a 30 day money back guarantee, however when I asked to have these unusable classes refunded, they gave me Udemy Credit, which is not my money back! I can't use the site, so credits mean nothing and they have stolen my money. I've had these classes a little over a week and have not been able to use them. I kept 2 classes that I spent more time in. The 30 day guarantee does not specify that after a certain percentage of the class is viewed, that you forfeit your 30 day refund. But, I was unable to even ask for a refund of 2 of the classes because I viewed maybe 20% of the material! The other classes were less than 5% viewed and they still only gave me credit, some not viewed at all past introduction videos as the videos just stopped playing. This company's practices are extremely shady. I just want all of my money back for this service I can not use, refund all of my classes that I have only had for a little over a week, and I want them to honor their 30 day MONEY BACK (not credit back) guarantee. They never answer support emails. They send automated responses that they will get back to you, then they send an email saying they haven't heard from me and will close the issue. I can't even use the credit to re-enroll in 2 classes they refunded without my permission! I can't even purchase those 2 classes with money! I have no idea what's going on with this company, but I rather not do any business with them. Also, refund the 2 classes I gived as well. I don't wan't to curse anyone else with Udemy.

Udemy - Udemy.com I was getting charged by Udemy for subscription beginning of July to Nov 2021

I was getting charged by Udemy for subscription beginning of July to Nov 2021. I saw that I am getting charged beginning of November from my credit card statement. I logged in to Udemy to check and saw that there are no active subscriptions like I know as I never subscribed. I tried to contact Udemy using their website, customer support page. I saw that ticket was opened successfully screen but never got any confirmation to my email. I opened several tickets hoping to reach each time it says successful created ticket, customer service will reach out but they never did. There was no phone number to reach Udemy guys after opening those at least 5 times. I saw that there was a chat option with customer care and I let them know about the issue and when the person in the chat opened a ticket I received a confirmation. Like K said I could not see any active subscriptions on my account. I am not sure how to prove it. You do see that I never logged in and used your site to learn. and like I said there was no active subscription from my side to cancel.I provided then screen shots of my account showing the email and that shows no active subscription. After several back and forth with customer service this is what I got following Your request was escalated to Udemys *** After a thorough review of your case, we can confirm that you are ineligible for a refund for the transactions in question We are unable to make exceptions to our refund policy and as a courtesy we refunded two charges.This will be our final word on this matter. Further tickets about this subject will not receive a response.Regards,Udemy *** They are not doing me favor by refunding two months. They have a major issue that they are charging customers that never signed up and never has active subscription when customer logs in. I need them to refund me all the money they charged. It was showing in mobile app.
