I'd like to share my experience on the online shopping through www.todsshopsuk.nl to purchase Mens Tod's Shoes.
Before I order, I ask the salesman whether the products are authentic because the prices on their website are very tempting. The store replied and confirmed, so that on May 29th, I ordered one pair of shoes. After so many complaints on tracking my shoes delivery, finally my order arrived on July 4th, 2014 (35 days), and what's make me very disappointed because I received a FAKE PRODUCTS which is not as they confirmed at the first.
I read their policy and for returning policy they will deduct 15% (my purchase USD 191.63), also they will not pay the cost of return package (approximately USD 70 as this package came from China, not from Italy. This also makes me suspicions).
As a customer I feel being cheated by this company.
I hope you can give me a good solutions because I think many people will have the same experience like me.
To confirm my complaint I can be contacted through email: [protected]@yahoo.com

Once again, thank you for your kind attention.

Regards,
Benno Putuhena

I realised today that I also got into TOD's scam. My local TOD's shops did not have my size. My size a popular size 38 (for TOD's it should be 37.5). The pair of shoes in question are a classic TOD's wedges. So I went online, and there was a TOD's website or what appears to be UK distributors/ out let. I was delighted that they seem to have them in the size I was looking for UK 37.5 / 4.5EU The price was at 125.29 sterling which was reasonable as that was the price of these shoes last year in the season sale, hence I did not suspect that this might be a scam, also I have never been scammed online, as I normally purchase products from trusted websites. The website had TOD's logo with all TOD's products and seemed to be a UK distributor. I made the order on the 14th pf November for the black suede wedges at 125.29 British pounds. In the confirmation email, I noticed that the name of the website was not TOD's but joinflexkom.co.uk I was a little uncomfortable when I realised this but when it stated UK I thought perhaps distributors/outlets have different IP addresses etc. After a week, I emailed them through their website, which was rather strange, it had no confirmation email of my query. Therefore, I went back to the order email when I noticed that the payment would be some entity called HONGDA LIMITED. Also which was extremely worrying was a phone number, upon checking the dial code, turns out to be China, and the email address of the delivery service seems different to the rest which is auto12@rhythmbillpay.com. Again I received no response from a second email sent in reply to the order confirmation. This morning, a pair of black leather (or rather plastic/ leatherette) loafers of size 37 arrived, not in a box but in a see through cotton bags with plastic/ sponge type filling. Basically what I imagine would be sold in chinatown for 3-5 pounds maximum, and for sure no mare than 50 pence in china. The shoes are not only the wrong shoes, and wrong size, but also the soles appear to be a very poor replica of coach logo on the soles. the back has a blank plastic bar and the insoles are basically three layers of glued together plastic/ rubber sheaths with a engraving of TOD's made in Italy...The middle layer of the the insole is white foam, they haven't even bothered to use a proper quality glue, it seems to be stick on of some sort. It is actually shocking, I have never been near any product of such poor quality. I would have never been exposed to this scam had it not been that they did not have my size in the local stores and I truly believed they were TODs distributors in the UK. I have tried to contact the number provided, obviously no answer, and likely to be just a shell number to make it appear to be legitimate. I emailed them several times, which appear to be going nowhere, and without acknowledging receipt of any of my emails. I clicked on the product review under the shoes, after making the review and clicking submit, there was message stop state the product does not take reviews! The whole setup I realised today is a complete scam. I will have to notify the bank, inform TOD's of the presence of this website posing as a TOD's UK distributors. I will also report this to various websites and notify Chinese authority of this fraud. I think such scams exist because they think that they can get away with it, and basically one would give up on it. I can not believe that they actually got away with their website

Why didn't I check these comments before placing my order? I assumed the price was reduced because the style I was ordering had been discontinued. I had a pair that I loved and had worn out. I placed the order on March 12th and did not receive the shoes until April 6th. I had been contacting the seller for shipping information because it was not posted in my account. I became suspicious when the tracking showed shipment from China ad asked them to cancel the order if they could not provide an arrival date. The shoes came in a smashed brown box with no original Tod's packaging or paperwork to return the item. The quality is so poor it is astounding. I am going to contact my credit card company to dispute the payment and I am also going to contact Tod's to report this company. Maybe their lawyers can do something to shut this down.

We have the same experience. Have you tried returning the merchandise? Is there any hope for the refund even if we lose 15% as its mentioned on their site?

I totally agree. They are extremely fake. I ordered two pairs of shoes which arrived 30 minutes ago and to my greatest surprise they were totally inferior to what what advertised. Extremely poor leather quality with cheap black rubber soles (rainboot like) rather than the polished brown wood shown on the site.
The worst part is that they even sent me a size 10 or 11 (no way of verifying because there isn't a size label on the shoe) instead of 12.

How are they still functioning when they are running a scam? This is unbelievable.
I advice everyone to stay clear of these guys.
