theCHIVE Disappointing Experience with theCHIVE: Don't Waste Your Money on Their Gear

So, I gotta tell ya, I shelled out some cash for some sweet gear from theCHIVE on February 19th. I was stoked, man! But let me tell ya, the excitement quickly turned to disappointment when my package never showed up. Like, what the heck, right?

I reached out to these guys, and yeah, they responded. But here's the thing, they didn't do squat about it. They just gave me the runaround, man. I mean, come on! I'm not one to take things lying down, so I decided to take matters into my own hands.

I went ahead and disputed the charge with my credit card company. And guess what? They actually reached out to theCHIVE on my behalf. But get this, theCHIVE had the audacity to tell my credit card company not to listen to me! Can you believe that? Like, seriously?

Now, I don't know about you, but when someone tells me not to do something, it just makes me want to do it even more. So, of course, I didn't listen to theCHIVE. I mean, why would I? They clearly didn't have my best interests at heart.

So, here's the deal, folks. I'm telling you straight up, stay away from this company. Yeah, their clothes might look good, but trust me, you won't actually receive them. It's like they take your money and then just ghost you. Not cool, theCHIVE, not cool at all.

theCHIVE Questionable Content and Lack of Editing: A Disappointing Experience

The amount of totally bogus "facts" popping up on this website is getting out of control. It's like those memes where they plant obvious lies or that satirical news site. What's going on with you guys? Half of you can't even spell, and most of the crap you publish is obviously false. Do you even have editors or something? It's really strange. That's why I stopped subscribing, by the way. Get your act together. I'll give you two stars for the charity work you do, but everything else you're doing is absolute garbage.

theCHIVE TheCHIVE: A Sneaky Website with Redirects and a Mysterious New Product

So, I stumbled upon this website called theCHIVE and let me tell you, it's quite an interesting experience. You know, you find a cool article and you're like, "Hey, let's check it out!" But guess what? Instead of taking you to the actual article, thechive decides to play a little game with you. It redirects you to the app store, but get this, it's not even related to what you were originally looking for! Like, seriously, what's up with that?

And here's the kicker, even if you already have the app they're trying to shove down your throat, they don't care! Nope, they'll just keep redirecting you to the app store over and over again. It's like they want you to download it multiple times or something. I mean, who does that? It's mind-boggling!

Now, here's the thing that really grinds my gears. These guys are making money off of this sneaky little tactic. They've got some tracking software embedded into their site, so every time they redirect you, they're probably getting some kind of kickback. It's like they're playing a game with your mind and your wallet. Sneaky, sneaky!

But hey, if you think thechive is awesome because of these shenanigans, just you wait. They've got something even more exciting coming up. Brace yourself for their next product, herpes. Yeah, you heard me right. I have no idea what that's all about, but they seem pretty hyped up about it. I mean, who wouldn't want to try out a product with such a catchy name, right?

All in all, thechive is definitely an interesting website to say the least. They've got this whole redirecting thing down to a science, and they're making some serious cash off of it. But hey, if you're into that kind of stuff, go ahead and give it a shot. Just be prepared for some unexpected detours and who knows, maybe you'll even catch the hype for their mysterious new product. Good luck, my friend!

theCHIVE theCHIVE: A Disappointing Sell-Out, Lacking Originality and Quality

theCHIVE (thechive.com) used to be a place where you could find some original content, but now it seems like the only originality lies in their advertisements and provocative images. The gifs and videos they feature are often low-resolution and clearly taken from other websites, then resized to fit their own purposes. I used to be a big fan of the site when it had some soul, but now it feels like a complete sell-out, catering to those who think they're still relevant, edgy, and cool.

Despite my disappointment, I still find myself visiting theCHIVE on a monthly basis, hoping to stumble upon something worthwhile. I'll open around 15-20 posts, and if I'm lucky, I'll actually go through 5-6 of them. It's a bit of a struggle, though, as their editors seem to have difficulty with basic grammar and spelling. It's almost as if they can't find enough material to share, so they resort to stealing from other sources.

I suppose theCHIVE tries to cater to a younger audience, maybe eighth graders to sophomores. They seem to believe that this demographic will overlook the lack of originality and the subpar quality of the content. It's a shame, really, because theCHIVE used to be a place where you could find something unique and entertaining. Now, it's just another money-hungry platform for people who want to feel cool and relevant, even if it means sacrificing authenticity.

theCHIVE Dangerous and Reckless Driving by KCCO Company Truck in Rockdale County, GA

I had a really scary experience the other day while driving with my two kids in the car. We were almost run off the road by a driver in a KCCO company truck. The license plate was KVG 4989 and it was from Rockdale County in GA. This guy was tailgating us like crazy and it felt like he was going to hit us at any moment. I was so scared for the safety of my kids.

To try and get his attention and make him back off, I shined my light on the Baby on Board sign that we have in the back window. But instead of slowing down, this guy actually sped up and then he shined his own light right into my husband's face while he was driving! It was such a dangerous and reckless thing to do.

Not only was this driver being aggressive towards us, but he was also driving erratically and almost caused a collision with another car in front of us. The poor people in that car had to swerve out of the way to avoid getting hit. It was a really close call and it could have ended in a terrible accident.

This whole incident happened just tonight, around 8 o'clock on February 14, 2016. I really hope that someone takes action and gets this punk off the road before he ends up hurting someone, or worse, someone hurts him. It's just not safe for him to be driving like that and putting innocent people's lives at risk.

theCHIVE TheCHIVE: Hilarious Content, but Beware of Unwanted Daily Emails and Privacy Concerns

I've been checkin' out theCHIVE every now and then 'cause some of the stuff on there cracks me up. But dang, the moment you visit the site, they automatically sign you up for their daily e-mail newsletter. And let me tell ya, those e-mails are straight up garbage and filled with soft porn that I can't seem to get rid of. I've tried unsubscribin' like a dozen times already, but it's like talkin' to a brick wall. I even reached out to their so-called "help desk" and asked 'em to remove me from their list. You know what they told me? They said I gotta create an account on their website, log in with my e-mail, and then go to some place called "manage e-mail preferences". But here's the kicker, they also mentioned that if I do that, they can sell my info. Can you believe that? It's a load of bull! All I want is for these dang e-mails to stop floodin' my inbox.

theCHIVE Disappointing Sizing, Thin Shirts, and Misleading Limited Edition Coins: A Review of The Chive's Shop

I gotta say, I've really taken a liking to the Chive and what their app is all about. But man, oh man, let me tell you about my experience with their shop. It was a real bummer, to say the least. I made the mistake of buying three tee shirts, all in the same size. But when those bad boys arrived, the sizing was all over the place. I mean, one of the shirts was so dang small, it looked like it was made for a kid! Talk about a major letdown.

And let's not even get started on the quality. Yeah, sure, the shirts were soft, but they were thinner than a sheet of paper. I mean, come on now, I didn't sign up for see-through clothing here. I was hoping for something a bit more substantial, you know?

But here's the real kicker. I decided to splurge on one of their limited edition collector coins. They were supposed to be super exclusive, only 1041 of 'em in existence. So, naturally, I thought I hit the jackpot and bought two of those bad boys. But guess what? Neither one of 'em had any edition number on 'em! Can you believe that? It's like they're pulling a fast one on us, making a million coins and still calling 'em limited edition. That just ain't right, my friend. It's downright shady.

I gotta question their business ethics, I really do. I mean, you'd think a big organization like this would have someone double-checking those coins before sending 'em out and disappointing 1041 customers. It's just plain ol' common sense, if you ask me.

All in all, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with the Chive's shop. The sizing issues, the flimsy shirts, and the misleading limited edition coins have left a sour taste in my mouth. I expected better from 'em, I really did. So, if you're thinking about buying anything from their shop, I'd say proceed with caution. You might just end up feeling as let down as I did.

theCHIVE The Chive: A Plea to Improve User Experience and Embrace AdBlockers

Listen, I ain't got no problem turnin' off my adblocker for sites, ya know? Long as them ads don't slow down my dang computer. But the reason I use an adblocker is 'cause it makes sites cleaner and faster. I'm a clean freak at heart, ya feel me? I don't wanna see a big ol' mess of ads when all I wanna do is read an article. But some ads can be harmless, and the site still runs fine on its own. Then there's the Chive. Yeah, them ads make the site almost completely unusable. It runs smooth as butter until I turn off my adblocker like it asks.

Leave my adblocker alone, man. We don't care if you make money from ads. Find some ads that don't hog up my CPU and make the page unreadable. If you can't do that, find another way to invest in your site. It's 2018, not 1995. Get creative, bro. But don't force us to turn off our adblockers, man. That's how you REALLY lose visitors.

More and more people are usin' adblockers and they're passionate about it, ya know? I ain't speakin' for the whole world, but I'm pretty sure most folks ain't rushin' to log onto thechive.com when they get a new computer. But I betcha a lot of 'em will be installin' adblocker right away. That's the first thing I do when I fire up my web browser on a new computer.

To the folks at TheChive.com - you can try to make us disable our adblockers, but we'll just find another site to go to. Adblock is here to stay, whether you like it or not, whether you fight against it or not.

Here's a suggestion for ya - let us visit your site for 30 seconds to see if it's worth whitelisting or not. After 30 seconds, ask us politely to whitelist it. But don't force it on us, man. That turns off more visitors than you think.

Just my two cents, ya know?

theCHIVE Disappointed with theCHIVE: Forced to Disable Adblocker, Inundated with Annoying Ads

I used to really enjoy visiting this website, theCHIVE, but now they've gone and done something that's really bothering me. They won't let me use my trusty adblocker anymore, and as a result, I'm bombarded with a ton of annoying ads. It's really frustrating, and it's making me seriously consider saying goodbye to thechive.com.

theCHIVE The Chive: A Disappointing Sellout, Missing the Old Community and Laughs

The chive used to be real good, ya know? Back in the day, it was all about the cool stuff, the funny pics, and the good times. But now, man, it's just a bunch of photos of the founder and his lame products. Like, come on, we don't wanna see that stuff all the time!

And don't even get me started on the ads. It's like they sold their soul to Trident or somethin'. Every time I scroll through the chive, there's an ad for Trident gum smack dab in my face. I get it, they gotta make money and all, but it's just too much, ya feel me?

I miss the old chive, where it was all about the community and the laughs. Now it's just a big ol' sellout. It's like they forgot about the people who made them what they are today. It's a real shame, man.

I used to spend hours on the chive, laughing my butt off and sharing the funny stuff with my friends. But now, I find myself scrolling through and just feeling disappointed. It's like they lost their way, ya know?

I ain't sayin' it's all bad, though. There are still some funny pics and cool articles here and there. But it's just not the same. It's like they're tryin' too hard to be something they're not.

So yeah, the chive used to be great, but now it's just a daily photo collection of the founder and his crappy products mixed with Trident ads. It's a sellout, plain and simple. I miss the old chive, and I hope they find their way back to what made 'em special in the first place.
