The Furniture Place UK Disappointing Quality and Lack of Customer Service from The Furniture Place UK

I recently made a purchase from The Furniture Place UK and I must say, I am quite disappointed with the quality of the items I received. One of the items I ordered was a 7-drawer Buckingham wide chest, and within just a few weeks of use, the top right hand runner came away from the side. I tried to fix it by putting in more glue, but the runner still won't adhere correctly, causing the drawer to run roughly and not align properly. This has resulted in a deep mark on the side of the drawer, which is quite unsightly.

I don't even have much in the drawers, so I'm starting to wonder if this piece of furniture was built more for show than for actual use. I've tried calling and emailing the company, but I haven't received any response or acknowledgement from them. It's quite frustrating and disappointing, to say the least.

Overall, I would not recommend The Furniture Place UK to anyone. It's a complete waste of money and the quality of their products is just not up to par. I will definitely be looking elsewhere for my furniture needs in the future.

I had a really bad experience with The Furniture Place UK. I ordered a superking Oak bedframe from them and it was supposed to be a high-quality product. However, after just a few months, I noticed that the headboard was developing cracks and the bed was making squeaky noises. I was really disappointed because I expected better from a company that claims to sell real Oak furniture.

To make matters worse, I have been trying to contact The Furniture Place UK for over a month now and they have not responded to any of my emails. I even tried calling the mobile number listed on their website, but it turned out to be incorrect. This made me suspicious that they might be scammers.

I wish I had read the reviews on this website before ordering from them. It seems like many other customers have had similar experiences with their poor customer service and low-quality products.

However, I am not giving up. I am determined to get this issue resolved and I have already contacted Citizen Advice. I am even considering taking them to small court if necessary. These guys have messed with the wrong person and I won't let them get away with it.

I recently had a less than satisfactory experience with The Furniture Place UK (thefurnitureplaceuk.com). I purchased an item of furniture from their website, but unfortunately, it was not as described. When I reached out to their customer service team, I was met with a person who I assume was the owner. This individual was incredibly rude and lacked any customer service skills. They were argumentative and insisted that there was nothing wrong with my item of furniture, despite never having seen it.

To make matters worse, this person openly mocked me. It was a truly unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend this company to anyone. If anything goes wrong, they are an atrocious company to deal with. My issue was minor and should have been resolved easily, but instead, it escalated to this with utter denial that anything could ever go wrong or be wrong for them.

In my opinion, The Furniture Place UK is a deluded company that should be avoided at all costs.

The Furniture Place UK Beware of The Furniture Place UK: A Terrible Experience with a Dishonest Seller

I recently had a terrible experience with The Furniture Place UK (thefurnitureplaceuk.com). I was looking for some solid oak chairs and stumbled upon this seller who advertised them at a very cheap price. I was excited to find such a good deal and quickly placed my order.

However, when the chairs arrived, I was extremely disappointed. They were not solid oak as advertised, but rather made of cheap wood. The quality was also very poor and they were not fit for purpose. I immediately contacted the seller to request a return and refund, as they had advertised a no quibble 30 day return policy.

To my surprise, the seller was very aggressive and argued with me throughout my request. They demanded that I keep the chairs and refused to issue a refund. I was shocked by their behavior and felt like I had been scammed.

After several attempts to resolve the issue with the seller, I decided to file a claim to get my money back through court. I also contacted PayPal to request a full refund, as the seller had not honored their return policy.

To make matters worse, the seller also purchased an item on my seller account and left me negative feedback. This was done purposefully to damage my reputation as a seller, even though I had left them positive feedback. I was appalled by their unethical behavior and felt like I had been taken advantage of.

In my opinion, this business owner is a crook who sells cheap and nasty furniture at overpriced rates. I would advise anyone to avoid this seller at all costs. Instead, save up and go with a reputable company that you can trust. I only wish I had seen reviews like this before buying from them.

The Furniture Place UK Top-Notch Service from The Furniture Place UK: A Review

I gotta say, I don't know what Granville is on about because I just ordered a whole bunch of furniture from The Furniture Place UK and it was top notch service all the way. I was sending it to my daughter's new place as a housewarming gift and they were super professional from start to finish. They even sent me emails to let me know when they dispatched and delivered the goods. And let me tell you, I ordered a lot of stuff so that was no small feat.

There was only one little hiccup - one of the parts was damaged. But I contacted them and they got back to me right away. They sent out a replacement part and it was with me in just two days. That's the kind of service you can't beat. Honestly, I think maybe Granville just had a bad experience or something because my experience was nothing but positive.

So if you're thinking about ordering from The Furniture Place UK, I say go for it. You can trust these guys to take care of you. I know I'll be ordering from them again in the future.

I recently had an experience with The Furniture Place UK, and unfortunately, it wasn't a positive one. I made the decision to purchase a foldable savoy table from their eBay store, but when it arrived, it was snapped in half and damaged. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with the situation.

I reached out to Peter, who offered to replace the broken chair. However, I explained to him that the chair wasn't the only issue - the entire table was in terrible condition. From that point on, I received message after message of abuse and belittling from Peter. It was an incredibly unpleasant experience.

I pleaded with Peter to refund my money, as the table was completely unusable. However, he insisted that I pay the postage fee of ?70. I was shocked and appalled by his behavior and attitude towards me. He was incredibly rude and unprofessional.

Despite his claims that I had damaged the table, I knew that wasn't the case. I simply wanted my money back for the unusable product that I had received. In the end, I had to dispute the charge with my bank in order to get my money back.

Overall, my experience with The Furniture Place UK was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend purchasing from them, as their customer service was terrible and their products were of poor quality. It's a shame, as I had high hopes for this company, but unfortunately, they fell short.

As someone who works in customer service myself, I was shocked at the way I was treated by this company. I simply asked to cancel my order as I needed to purchase from another company due to time constraints and not receiving confirmation from them. However, instead of being understanding, I was met with insults and derogatory language from a man named Peter. He called me an incompetent idiot and told me to revalue myself before ordering again. I was appalled by his behavior and would never recommend this company to anyone, no matter how low their prices may be.

It's truly shocking that someone like Peter is employed by this company. With his rude and unprofessional behavior, I'm surprised they get any sales at all. I gotta say, my experience with The Furniture Place UK was not great. I ordered a bed frame on December 22nd, and according to their website, it should have been sent out within 3 working days. But I didn't receive any dispatch notice or tracking information. I tried emailing and calling to find out what was going on, but I got ignored.

I was starting to feel like I had been scammed, so I emailed again on January 2nd. That's when things got really frustrating. The "owner" sent me a really rude email asking if I lived on the moon or something and if I had a problem reading. I mean, come on! That's not how you talk to customers.

Anyway, he voided my order and said he would refund me "in due time." When I asked how long that would be, he said "when I feel like it." Seriously? That's not how you do business. I had to contact PayPal to get my money back, which was a huge hassle.

Honestly, I've never had such terrible customer service. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. If you want to play a cat and mouse game, then go ahead and use them. But if you want a smooth and easy experience, avoid The Furniture Place UK at all costs.

I recently had an experience with The Furniture Place UK (thefurnitureplaceuk.com) and I have to say, it was not a good one. My wife ordered a wardrobe through eBay from this seller and we were initially impressed with the service and the delivery company they used. However, things quickly went downhill from there.

On January 27th, 2022, my wife received a notification from eBay that the furniture had been delivered. The time was 22:14, which seemed odd to us. We went downstairs to check if the parcel had been left in front of our door, but there was nothing there. My wife received a picture of the label of the parcel, but it was only the label in the picture. The tracking from the driver's GPS showed a different postcode, which was concerning.

We tried to contact the seller, Peter, but he was extremely rude to my wife. We also tried to ask eBay for help, but they were not very helpful either. It seems that this platform has real issues in helping buyers who have been scammed. The delivery company used was XDP, and I would advise others to be aware of sellers who use this company. We did not receive our parcel, but the seller did not bother to help or check with the depot where he shipped the parcel.

We contacted XDP's customer service to check with the driver using the reference number, but they were also rude and unhelpful. To this day, we have not received either the furniture or an explanation of what happened. Luckily, someone advised my wife to go to the bank and the bank refunded her back.

Overall, I would advise others to avoid this seller and XDP delivery company. They are a real disappointment and have caused us a lot of stress and frustration. It's a shame that there are sellers out there who are not honest and do not care about their customers.

I recently purchased a bed base from The Furniture Place UK (thefurnitureplaceuk.com) as it had the best price I could find online. However, my experience with their customer service was abysmal and left me feeling frustrated and angry.

I requested for the item to be delivered to my mother's address as I was at work. Unfortunately, when it arrived, the packaging was badly damaged and my mother refused delivery. I contacted the company via email (as no one ever answers the phone) and Peter responded by saying that "they don't sell cardboard boxes" and that the item inside was what mattered. He assured me that any damaged parts would be replaced individually and that the item would be resent. The delivery was rescheduled for two days later. Although Peter was a bit rude, I didn't think it was a big deal as it was stated in their terms and conditions.

However, on the day of delivery, things took a turn for the worse. My mother waited for 45 minutes beyond the two-hour time slot, but she had to leave for an appointment. I called the courier to inquire about the delay, and they informed me that the item had been delivered in my mother's absence. Peter had instructed them to "drop and go" without ringing the bell or obtaining a signature because my mother may refuse delivery again as she gets "confused." I was furious and demanded the courier's contact number for The Furniture Place UK (which wasn't the one listed on their website). I spoke to Scott, who was unhelpful and vague in his responses. He then abruptly hung up on me, claiming that he had other customers waiting.

I tried to contact them three more times before I finally got through to Scott again. Before I could even say anything, he threatened to "phone the police for harassment" and told me to "go and fk myself." I was in complete disbelief and enraged by the whole experience.

Thankfully, there was nothing wrong with the item itself. However, I was dreading any further contact with these faceless, lying, despicable cowboys. I've never experienced anything like this before, and I hope I never will again. It was an absolutely disgusting experience.

So, I was really excited to order some new furniture from The Furniture Place UK (thefurnitureplaceuk.com). I found some great pieces on their website and went ahead and ordered them. I was so happy to have found what I was looking for and couldn't wait for it to arrive.

However, a few days later, I received an email saying that my order had been cancelled. I was really disappointed and confused. I didn't understand why my order had been cancelled and there was no explanation given. I decided to reach out to their customer service team to see if they could help me understand what had happened.

When I spoke to them, they told me that they don't deliver to Northern Ireland. I was really surprised to hear this, as I had entered my postcode on their website and it had accepted it. I asked them why this had happened and they sent me a response explaining that there had been a mistake on their website and that they were sorry for any inconvenience caused.

So, I ordered a table and chairs from The Furniture Place UK (thefurnitureplaceuk.com) and when it arrived, it was not what I expected at all. The color was supposed to be white, but it was more of a yellowy cream. I was really disappointed and frustrated because I had specifically chosen this set because of the white color.

I immediately contacted the seller and sent them photos to show that the product was not as advertised. However, after that, the seller went quiet and stopped responding to my messages. I was really annoyed because I had spent a lot of money on this purchase and I expected better customer service.

Right now, I am trying to sort out the return and refund process, but it has been a total nightmare. I feel like I have been conned and I am extremely disappointed with the whole experience. To make matters worse, the seller was extremely rude to me when I tried to contact them about the issue.

The Furniture Place UK Terrible Customer Service and Communication: My Experience with The Furniture Place UK

So, I recently ordered a bed from The Furniture Place UK (thefurnitureplaceuk.com) and let me tell you, it was not a smooth ride. First off, when the delivery arrived, only part of the bed was there. I was understandably upset and asked the driver about it, but he was so rude to me! I couldn't believe it.

I decided to email the company to see what was going on and was met with a really patronising response. They told me that I should try to be understanding because of the coronavirus situation. I mean, I get it, but that doesn't excuse poor customer service.

When I emailed them back to express my frustration, they put an Out Of Office on their email (at 2.20pm on a Friday afternoon, no less!). I was left with no updates and no bed for the weekend. It was a total nightmare.

Overall, I would not recommend The Furniture Place UK. Their service was terrible and their communication was even worse. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

I'm not one to complain, but I have to say that my experience with The Furniture Place UK (thefurnitureplaceuk.com) was not a good one. I gave them one star, but if it were up to me, I would give them negative stars!

I purchased an item from them, but unfortunately, it turned out to be faulty. I've been trying to get in touch with them to resolve the issue, but it's been a real struggle. They never answer the phone, and I've sent them countless emails, but they haven't replied to a single one.

So, I bought a bookcase from The Furniture Place UK in July 2020. They sent me an email saying that it wouldn't be in stock until September. They asked me if I wanted a refund or if I wanted to wait. I decided to wait, but it was a big mistake. September came and went, and I still didn't receive my bookcase. I've sent them an email asking for my money back, but they haven't replied yet. I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with The Furniture Place UK. I bought a piece of furniture from their eBay store, and the description was all wrong. It was really confusing and didn't match up with what I got at all. When I tried to return it, the guy who sold it to me was a total jerk. He talked down to me and said it was my fault for not reading the description right. Like, come on man, I'm not an idiot.
