Since March 2023 I have had issues with my hot water. At first they were quick to try and resolve the issue even going so far to replace the water heater. However this did not fix the issue. I was instructed to "close the valve and let the water heat up" but yet I only get maybe 5 min of hot water. Month after month I sent maintenance request to have this fixed with at least (3) service techs and (3) 3rd party vendors coming to my house stating they do not know how to fix the issue. I am currently serving actively in the military and have a family. We have gone so far to having to warm water up on the stove to bathe ourselves and wash our dishes. This issue additionly has caused my electric bill to incease by almost $200 monthly being that it is an electric water heater. They constantly say they "elevated" the work order request but still I have to contact on the status to be told their mantenance team will contact me. I have not pursed legal action but im getting to my limit. It is the end of the year and still have not had this fixed.
Claimed loss: $2000 in excess electric bills, two weeks of having to leave work, sickness of family due to having to constantly go outside to get to water heater.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a phone call from the management team and additonally some monitary compensation for what my family has gone through or a reduction in rent due to their failure to repair a "necessity of basic living conditions"
