Myself and my boss Jeff Nelson went to Osage. IA on August 28th and August 29th. I Kelly Larson rented a room in my name on those dates and the Debit Card was in Jeff Nelson's name at the Osage, IA super 8 Motel. Two of our employees stayed and the morning after the first night I called to wake them up on Tuesday August 29th. When they did not answer there cell phones I called super 8 main number to be connected to their room at which time the manager told me that he could not ring there room. Reasons being that he did not know how to do it but also that he stays up late and does not want to be bothered by me so early in the morning. This is absolutely unacceptable! We paid for a room and calling the room number to reach our party should not be questioned for any reason. We needed to get our workers up and get them instructions about starting there work day for us. He then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back and was hung up on a second time. We Jeff and I had to drive to the motel and Knock on there door to reach them. We were very upset and decided we would find another motel to stay at the following Evening, which would have been August 29th. Unfortunately Osage doesn't have a whole lot to chose from and we felt that we didn't have much of a choice but to rent another room from them that evening. When I entered the motel and was greeted by the manager he was very very rude. First of all he told me our employee was smoking in the room which he was confronted about and reassured us that at no time did he smoke at all other than outside the building as instructed. The manager seen him with a half burnt cigarette in his hand and accused him of smoking only because he seen him with a cigarette. Then complained to me about it. The guy was wrong and had no business accusing anyone of doing such thing when there was no evidence to tell him otherwise. He also took the next 15 minutes to tell me that I better not be calling him in the morning for our workers room as he would not be connecting us to them. We feel that the phones are in the rooms for a reason and we have a right to call and talk to our party whenever we need to. We should not be told not to call them because the manager don't know how or don't want to be bothered by us for this reason. We paid over 100 Dollars each night to stay there and should have been treated with nothing but respect. We feel that we should be compensated for two nights stay and that we be treated better. We have to come back down there in a couple weeks and would ask that you honor this request for compensation. We stay at super 8 often and would appreciate it. If you guys are willing to work with us on this maybe we would be willing to continue to do business with super 8 in the future.

Desired outcome: To be compensated for a couple nights stay when we were not treated with much respect, courtesy, or politeness for our money. Also an apology for such rudeness would be in order as well.
