I have always had a good experience with Sunshine Renewable Energy. The technicians are very knowledgeable & are more than willing to answer any of our questions. Any time I have had to call Sunshine they were very helpful & knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Sunshine Renewable Energy.

Very professional and on time. Returned my calls and emails in a timely manner. I have dealt with this company 3 times now and will continue to do so in the future. Other companies I have dealt with for service cannot compete in these regards, I hold them in high regards for customer service. Well done !

Making an appointment was quick and easy - they were very responsive. The service was great and friendly, the technician was timely and gave a great explanation of the issue. Waiting on the parts to complete the fix for our heat pump but so far Sunshine has been great to deal with. Definitely recommend !

I am very pleased with the product that they had sold me with in a few years I have a a couple issues with my unit I had called them up they they set a time within a day or so to have a tech arrive very professional and on time, I would say that Sunshine Renewable Energy is a great Company to deal with and I would Recommend them to anyone. thank you Sunshine. Sunshine Renewables was by far the best experience we had after dealing with numerous other HVAC companies. They were extremely responsive, courteous and professional. They got the job done in the shortest possible time and went to bat for us with the supplier to get us a lower price. They listened to us and went above and beyond to help. Can't say enough about these guys.

I was able to book my annual maintenance a few months in advance which was great. I was given the advice to wait until after the summer to have our heat pumps cleaned as that would be when there could be a buildup of moisture leading to mold. The team arrived on time and finished the work quickly. I'll continue to use the sunshine team for annual heat pump cleaning and maintenance!

We bought our second ductless mini-split heat pump from Sunshine this month. We were super impressed by every aspect of the purchase. From the friendly professional assessment of our needs, to the expert recommendations, to a fast, efficient and beautiful install (including clean up). We loved the team that came to our place, friendly, knowledgeable and great working together! Couldn't be more pleased ... HIGHLY recommend Sunshine if you are considering a heat pump.

I had quick replies and help via email, we had continuing work and they kept me updated (parts orders) while waiting and are very professional in their conduct. Sunshine Renewable Energy Inc are professional, on time, and do good quality work. All HVAC is expensive, but they are very good at what they do. I would call them again if required and recommend them to others looking for servicing or install. Personally, I find HVAC too expensive overall, no matter who you call.

Superior service from Sunshine. My heat pump blew a board so I called Sunshine. It was the first time I've used their service. John was absolutely a fantastic tech. He was extremely thorough in diagnosing the problem and subsequently fixing the problem. He was professional and very knowledgeable. I can't say enough good things about Sunshine from the scheduler to the tech. Absolutely fantastic company and I will be calling on them again! Special thanks to John for fixing my heat pump!

Sunshine Renewable Energy installed our heat pump system in the summer of 2022. We were very impressed with the team (qualified, professional, and knowledgeable) and the installation was executed in an efficient manner. One year later and we can say the system has exceeded our expectations - energy usage down by about 30%, cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The team was recently on site for an annual cleaning and again great customer service. We highly recommend Sunshine Renewable Energy.

The exterior of my home was damaged during installation, they didn't tell me about it but I noticed it before they left, they did a partial temporary fix and then suggested that I contact their office to find out how they want to handle the rest of it, which I immediately did. It's been eight months and tons of calls/emails back and for but nothing has been done. They've made commitments to have someone come out and look at it/fix it but no one has shown up. The damage itself isn't a big deal, it's the fact no one told me that it happened (maybe they were hoping I wouldn't notice?) and in the 8 months since, despite saying they'll do something, they've done nothing. Happy with the heat pumps but wouldn't recommend having sunshine install them.

I had a very negative experience with this company. They installed a heat pump and two ETS units for me. First, I had issues with the heat pump. They didn't fill it with enough refrigerant. Then the ETS wasn't functioning properly. After a few months, they realized they had forgotten to install a fan in the ETS. The other ETS switch burned and almost caused a fire in the house during the coldest days of the year. I called them and booked an appointment, but they didn't show up. So I called again and they informed me that they were occupied with another task and rescheduled for the next day. Unfortunately, they failed to show up once again without any notification. I reached out to them once more and they claimed that their electrician had tested positive for COVID and there was 1 cm of snow on the ground. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. Their technicians lack the necessary qualifications and demonstrate a complete disregard for the customer's time.

Our heat pump had developed many leaks over the past year so we decided to replace. The technicians from Sunshine Renewable answered all our inquiries and office staff very helpful in giving us quotes and programs available to help with cost. We had a new heat pump installed one month ago. They were timely in installing but didn't review features of new system which was different from previous unit. Two weeks later we had to call Sunshine Renewable because our air conditioning wasn't working. There was a little misunderstanding about appointment but they came the next day and fixed our unit. It has been working well since then. The technician was wonderful and professsional. The office staff Jill and Julie were the best in arranging everything . Very friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend this business because of their professionalism, knowledge and friendly service. Thank you.

Had a new heat pump installed, love it. After 2 years there was a noise from the motor. I went to Sunshine's Website, to contact them. There is a form to fill out for service. Turns out this is for an installation assessment. Well anybody can make a mistake. Then I call and explain the problem. Finally a week later I get an appointment. The day came and went. No technician. The next day I call, and was told that the technician ran late and couldn't get to me. Really, they don't have phones to call someone and inform them they will not be there. Finally the technician get to my home. Figures the problem, which is what I said it was in the first place, a broken fan motor. Need to be replaced and it is under warranty.He leaves, but doesn't even turn the heat pump back on. OK Great. Ten days and I hear nothing from Sunshine, not that the part is ordered, not it will be here by such and such...nothing. Finally we are informed the motor is in and set up a date. It gets installed, and now I wait for the service bill. They charged me two hours labor and he was here for less than an hour in total. What a rip off

Sunshine was a disappointment. When I mentioned 2 other companies we were getting quotes from he started badmouthing them. Wow! That was so unprofessional. He wanted to win my business but by doing so he was putting down other companies. RED FLAG! RED FLAG! We then moved on and I asked about a few different brands and then the negativity started again. Each brand I mentioned was "dismissed". I guess because it was not in their lineup he was trained to simply put the product down. I had enough. I have never seen such unprofessionalism. All I wanted was to get their recommendation on products and hear positive things about what they were selling. I wish I could have given a ZERO rating here but it does not allow that. Terrible, UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE. Oh yeah, I was speaking to a coworker that also got 3 quotes (one from Sunshine) and a different sunshine rep did the same sort of thing. Putting down competition and the products they were offering. Just like my experience, my coworker said that none of the others did the same sort of dirty tactics. They simply did the home visit and talked about their equipment and went over pricing. It is clear that these are PROFESSIONAL scammers and because more than one rep are doing the same thing it is clearly being taught to them. I never write reviews but I could not help but to do so in this case. Avoid Sunshine Renewable Energy.

It all started with viewing a Sunshine Renewable Energy Ad, about Heat Pump systems. Not interested in the cheapest model, but the Best High-efficiency Canadian Weather Low Temp Model with decent Rebates and a company that can provide full-service installation, start to finish, and backed by a great warranty, so I called in and left my details. A day later we received a call from a very pleasant and helpful lady throughout the whole process, named [Name]. After a great chat, we were booked for our Free in-home assessment, which came just a few days later. At that time we discussed what it was we were thinking we wanted and he shared some information about the Fujitsu lineup he thought would serve us well. They included the 9,000BTU, 12,000BTU, and 15,000BTU sized LZAS Models(Ultra Low Minimum Operating Temperature Below -21C). We decided on the High-Efficiency 9,000BTU Fujitsu LZAS Halcyon unit, and where it was going to be installed. A week or 10 days later when [Name] the Electrician showed up on installation day, he brought it to our attention that it could not be installed vertically and brought over the installation crew to review whether it was possible in another nearby location. It ended up being moved from the original agreed-upon exterior wall to an adjacent interior wall with a short 6" conduit run. After a much appreciated, practical tradesmen's point of view, consultation, and explanation by [Name] the Electrician, it was settled, and the installation began for the new location. We wanted to note that out of the 4 person's working on-site(2 journeymen and 2 apprentices), the apprentice's were both very helpful and worked steady to make their coworker's jobs easier, it was very clear the most knowledgeable was clearly [Name] the Electrician on all issues encountered with the installation. We truly feel the installation would not have happened that day in his absence, as he solved issue after issue with the location, conduit fittings, hardware use, etc., etc., and having been a tradesman myself for 40 years, understand first hand the value of a person with the mind and attitude to stick with a job and work through a challenging installation on a Friday afternoon. They all worked and completed the job and left our property by day's end. After the dust settled and I had an opportunity to have a close look at the installation over the weekend, I thought that a couple of items could be tweaked to improve the finished product. 1)Item one was a simple single piece of white conduit covering the Interior unit's grey drain pipe exiting our house and running down to the ground. 2)Item 2 was at the bottom of the aluminum four-legged outdoor compressor base, I thought there should have been four fasteners used to secure the four aluminum legs to the base. I called into Sunshine Renewables Act's payables dept. and wanted to confirm their co. name as a payee. While talking with the gentleman on the phone, he asked how was everything with the install and were we fully satisfied? I said, just to be clear, you asked me, and we are not complaining, but there were 2 small issues we noticed over the weekend. He said would it be ok if someone reached out to us, we said yes. Within minutes [Name] called and said, what are our concerns with the install? I shared with her my observations, and she thanked me and said she will get back to me. Maybe 20 minutes later, [Name] called us back and asked if we were home right now, we said yes we were, and she asked if it was ok to send a crew there now? We thought wow, less than an hour from mentioning our concerns to getting 2 phone calls and a crew dispatched to our property. Within moments, we heard the truck in our yard and 2 tradesmen asked if we could point out our concerns, we did, and they very quickly began. They adjusted the alignment of the existing conduit and then added the backer and snap-on front piece of conduit to fully cover the grey drain hose all the way to ground level with a new white conduit, it is very nice looking. Then after me pointing out what I thought was an issue with the Compressor bases legs not secured to the mounting base, they went into their truck and came out with factory leg base mount hardware, specifically used for this situation. working together, they gently raised the unit and fastened the mounts to the legs, and then secured it to the base on all four corners. We would for sure recommend Sunshine Renewable Energy and its workers, and hope to use them again in the future for another property.
