I've been a patient at Steward Medical Group for quite some time now, and I have to say, there have been a lot of changes within the organization. I remember when I first started coming here in the early 90s, I was referred to Dean Halbert, who was a great doctor. However, since then, there have been a lot of changes, and it seems like the focus has shifted away from the patients and more towards making money.

Despite these changes, I have to say that the doctors and staff have remained pretty much the same. They're still friendly and helpful, and they do their best to provide quality care. However, it's clear that the organization as a whole has shifted its priorities, and that's a bit concerning.

Overall, I would say that Steward Medical Group is still a decent place to go for medical care, but I do wish that they would focus more on the patients and less on the bottom line. It's important to remember that healthcare is about people, not profits.

Steward Medical Group is a medical group that has some great doctors. However, their billing department needs to get their act together. They rush to apply your deductible to your insurance and then demand full payment. It can take a long time for them to refund you. The management of the billing department is not good either. If you have to deal with their billing customer service, it's not a pleasant experience. They need to improve their customer service.

I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Steward Medical Group. I put in a request for a statement on April 14th and they told me it would take 7-10 days to get it either by email or mail. They said I should have gotten it by April 28th, but guess what? I still haven't gotten it! I mean, come on, that's just not right. It's really frustrating because I should be able to access this stuff online like I can with every other medical company. It's just not fair to patients to have to wait this long for something so simple.

My visit to Steward Medical Group in Hermitage, PA was not a pleasant one. I had a tough time dealing with the staff, and they never seem to pick up the phone. When someone finally did, the lady on the other end hung up on me. I tried calling back, but there was no answer. I had to drive all the way back to the office just to talk to someone.

Despite my bad experience, I must say that I really like my doctor. However, I am not a fan of Steward Medical Group. It's a shame that my doctor is affiliated with them now.

I read some of the reviews online, and I must say that they are all true. The staff is difficult to deal with, and they don't seem to care about their patients. It's frustrating when you're trying to get help, and no one seems to be available.

Overall, I would not recommend Steward Medical Group in Hermitage, PA. If you're looking for a medical group that cares about their patients, this is not the place to go.

I had a colonoscopy at Steward Medical Group in September 2022. The doctor who performed the procedure was great and the nurses were also great. The procedure went well and I was satisfied with the care I received.

However, right after the procedure, I started receiving bills. I had to pay another copay to the hospital, for the Anastasia, and for the labs. All in all, it cost me an extra $1400, even though I have Tufts insurance. I was not happy about this and decided to call Steward Medical Group to ask about the charges.

Unfortunately, when I called, I got hung up on by a Steward employee. I was not happy about this and decided to call my doctor's office instead. However, they could care less about my concerns.

In the end, I decided to get my records from the doctor and said goodbye. I will not ever go near another Steward doctor or hospital again. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I do not want to deal with the hassle of unexpected bills and unhelpful staff again.

I recently had an experience with Steward Medical Group and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. While I have encountered similar attitudes in other medical offices, the level of unresponsiveness at Dr. Bees' practice was particularly frustrating. It seems as though they never answer the phone, no matter how many times you call. Instead, they stand around and chat and laugh with each other, completely ignoring the needs of their patients.

When I did finally get through to someone, I was told not to leave urgent messages and that they would get back to me within 24 hours. However, if you call on a Friday (even in the morning), you can forget about receiving a call back until Monday, if at all. It's incredibly frustrating to feel like your health concerns are being ignored or brushed aside.

To make matters worse, they don't seem to be very competent when it comes to handling testing requests. They will tell you that they have submitted the request, only to later admit that they haven't and then "re-submit" while you're on the phone with them. It's lazy, dishonest, and downright rude.

Overall, I would not recommend Steward Medical Group to anyone looking for a reliable and responsive medical practice. The unresponsiveness and incompetence of the staff is simply unacceptable.

I have been a patient of Steward Medical Group for over 18 years, under the care of Dr. Benavides (this review is not about him). Recently, my insurance plan was dropped from their network without any warning. This caused a major issue for me as I was unable to get my most important medications resupplied. I tried to speak to the staff about this issue, but unfortunately, they were the rudest staff I have ever encountered. I requested a call back from my doctor, but I am not sure if he is even receiving my messages.

On the recommendation of my doctor, I had a brain scan, but unfortunately, I will never know the results because I am unable to speak to my primary care doctor. I mean, who does that? A doctor's office has responsibilities, do they not? I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and care that I have received from Steward Medical Group.

I would suggest that anyone looking for a responsible place to take their family should look elsewhere. What the heck? As a patient, I expect to receive proper care and attention from my doctor's office, but unfortunately, this has not been the case with Steward Medical Group. I hope that they can improve their services and communication in the future, but until then, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience at Steward Medical Group. The folks who work there are nice enough, but they could use some serious work when it comes to customer service. I went in to inquire about a chemical peel, but ended up getting talked into a package of Urbium laser treatments for a whopping $750. I was hesitant, but hopeful that the treatments would leave me with a more youthful complexion. Unfortunately, after the first treatment, all I got was a nasty acne breakout on one side of my face that left discoloration for months. I was told that the first treatment would be mild, and that each successive treatment would be stronger. I scheduled my second treatment for a few weeks later, but then got a call a few days before my appointment saying that the laser machine was broken and they didn't know when it would be fixed. I waited over two months for them to call me back to reschedule, but they never did. When I finally called to inquire about the machine, they told me they didn't know when it would be fixed and that they couldn't refund my credit card for the remaining $500. I had to wait 6-8 weeks for a check from their accounting department! I mean, come on. That's just ridiculous. I ended up filing a complaint with American Express, who were super helpful and suspended the interest on my unpaid balance until the issue was resolved. It took weeks for Steward Medical Group to respond to Amex's request for resolution, which makes me think they're either really dumb or just plain crooked. Either way, I won't be going back there again. It's a shame, because I had spent a lot of money on other services with them after my first laser treatment, but now I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
