Sparkling Kleen is a awsome company. They did a whole renovation of my pool and deck. From the first phone call for a quote to the final meeting after completion, the communication was great. The quality of workmanship is excellent, I highly recommend this company. No complaints at all.

Sparkling Kleen is a great company! They did a really good job on our pool. We told our friends and they liked it too. Mike, the owner, knows a lot and has a good team. They did a second pool for us and it looks really nice.

Sparkling Kleen Pools & Spas did our pool and it's great! We talked to two other guys but Sparkling Kleen was the best. They didn't charge too much and the work was good. They were easy to work with and let us change things. We never had a pool before but they made it easy. The pool looks AMAZING. We tell everyone to use Sparkling Kleen. The people in the office and the workers were professional. They cleaned up the yard when they were done too! I recommend this company for pools. Thanks Julie and Dennis for helping us!

I talked to 3 companies but Sparkling Kleen Pools was the best. They gave me an estimate and paperwork and told me what to expect. They also gave me a list of pools to see so I could make sure I made the right choice. I went to their store to pick out my tiles. Everyone at Sparkling Kleen Pools is helpful and professional. They are organized and focused on service. If I had questions, I got answers the same day or the next day. All the employees are great. I recommend them for pool resurfacing. I live in Sarasota Florida and they resurfaced 7 pools in my development in the last 2-3 years.

My neighbors told me to check out Sparkling Kleen Pools & Spas for my pool deck and driveway. They did a good job, but it took them almost a year to finish. They said they were too busy and didn't communicate well. They didn't order all the supplies they needed and left part of the walkway unfinished for weeks. I had to tell them it was dangerous and they finally finished it. They charged us for work they didn't finish and didn't apologize for their mistakes. The work looks good now, but it wasn't worth the hassle.

I've lived in Florida for 35 years and dealt with a lot of tradespeople, and I gotta say, Sparkling Kleen Pools & Spas is not good. They took way longer than they said they would to resurface my pool, and the quality was poor. There was cement left all over the place, and they didn't clean up properly. They also messed up the tiles and charged me extra for a crack I never saw. I tried to get the owner to come out and look at the issues, but he didn't seem interested. Communication was a big problem, and there was no communication between the workers and me. The owner said he would come out and fix things, but he never did. I wouldn't recommend this contractor to anyone.

Bad Communication/Customer Service

I hired Sparkling Kleen to fix my pool and deck on 12/17. They said they'd start in 6-8 weeks, but when I called after 7 weeks, they said they'd start the last week of February (10 weeks later). After almost 12 weeks, they finally delivered the pavers on 3/9. The project was supposed to take 7-10 days, but they ran out of pavers and blamed Covid 19 or the manufacturer, Flagstone, depending on who I talked to. It seems like they measured wrong.

The work has been terrible and they don't communicate well. The pool resurfacing was okay, but the paver job was a NIGHTMARE. The pavers were uneven, chipped, and had saw marks. They laid a crooked drain, cemented a sprinkler, and left a mess. The two guys who came to fix it didn't know what to do and couldn't talk to me.

The owner came more than two months later and refused to talk about the problems. He held my warranty paperwork and promised to fix the pavers and drain and seal the pavers. But they still don't communicate well. They said they'd come "first thing in the morning" but it's 5:00 and they haven't come yet.

Don't hire them if you want a good job and no headaches.

Pool job not good. Tiles crack and grout fall out. They come fix it but still happens. Started soon after they finish.

I got my pool checked out before Sparkling Kleen Pools & Spas came to fix it up. I gave them almost $20,000, but they didn't seal my deck or fix my leak. They even burned up my pump because it ran out of water while it was still on. The owner keeps bothering me, but I work nights and miss his calls in the morning, so he thinks I'm dodging him. My pool still isn't done. Their worker broke my gate door and messed up all the screens on my lanai.

I hired Sparkling Kleen Pools & Spas in September to fix up my pool. They were supposed to resurface it, retile it, and install a salt generator. However, there was a problem with one of the lines in the "pop-up" pool system. It got clogged because of the cement or resurfacing material they used. They tried to fix it with compressors and acids, but it took them several months to take the problem seriously. By the time they started using acid treatment, it was too late.

I asked them to fix the problem, but they only offered to bypass one line and eliminate 4 of the 11 pop-ups. I wasn't happy with that solution, so I sent them a certified letter on April 9 asking for a full repair. They ignored my request, so I filed a complaint with the Florida AG on May 3. I hope they will take my problem seriously now.

My neighbors hired Sparkling Kleen Pools to put in a new pool in their yard. They started in October and it's still not done. I just finished my lanai and screen, and the workers from Sparkling Kleen Pools have been unprofessional. There's no protection between our houses, and I've had nothing but trouble from the workers. One day, I came home from work and my screen and patio furniture were covered in paver dust. I contacted Sparkling Kleen Pools, and they said they'd send someone out to power wash the screen and furniture. During the cleaning, my patio bench got damaged (see pics). I've been trying to reach the company for days to fix this, but they haven't answered my calls or texts. I'm writing to the ComplaintsBoard.com to get reimbursed for my damaged furniture and to warn others not to hire this company. Thanks. *** (XXX) XXX-XXXX

They need to give me my money back! I gave them a deposit check for $3,900 in October 30 to install a pool in my lanai. The owner, Mike, said it was doable even though I had property boundary restrictions. But after waiting for months, I found out on 1/25 that the final inspector wouldn't approve the pool because it didn't meet the 10-foot property boundary requirement. I asked for my deposit check back and reimbursement for the $1,000 surveys they required. Sheena said only Mike could authorize reimbursement, but he hasn't contacted me yet. I've called repeatedly, but no one is returning my calls or telling me if I can pick up my deposit check. It's frustrating and a waste of time and money. Mike misguiding me through this process is his fault.
