I purchased a GE dryer on August 3, 2023 and it wasn't brought out to my home until August 18, 2023. Two men came out with my dryer. The older one, Jermaine, look at my house door and immediately stated it needed to come off the hinges.

It is not possible to remove that very heavy metal door from the hinges. Furthermore, it did not have to be removed because there was plenty of room to get the dryer in the basement. I very recently had two appliances delivered into the basement that were exactly the same size as this dryer, 27 inches wide. I looked this model up online and the site stated it was 27 inches wide.

Jermaine immediately took his tools and removed one of the pins, even though I did not give him permission and was constantly objecting to him doing this. He said to me, are you trying to tell me how to do my job? I have been doing this for years and I can get any door off the hinges. He is exceptionally domineering!

Well, any door but mine!

All I could do was stand there and think about how much damage he was going to do and that I wouldn't have a door to my house for a number of days at the minimum. Very unsafe, to say the least.

He could not get the second pin out. He finally gave up, but he was embarrassed and angry that I was right.

At that moment he unilaterally decided that he was not going to take the dryer into the basement and that he was going to take it back to the store. There was no discussion!

I wanted it to stay in the driveway because I had workmen at my home, who would have moved it into the basement for me. Additionally, I would have been happy to sign a release. I paid for it, I had the receipt and it belonged to me. He was there to deliver it to me.

Instead, he strapped my dryer to the dolly and proceeded to take it away. I went in front of the dryer and attempted to get it off the dolly. I was tired of going to the laundromat and wasting 2 hours just to get the wash dry.

Then, he pushed me around and I ended up towards the rear of the dryer, where something very sharp punctured my right leg and ripped my skin. I also received scratches to my left leg.

Even though I was in a lot of pain, I once again went in front of the dryer to prevent him from taking my property away from me.

He rammed is 100 lb machine into me and pushed me to the side. I called Snow Brothers to report this incident and was told they would call me back. I never heard from them, so I decided to drive out to the store. I was standing there bleeding in front of them and they offered me no first aid. They couldn't have cared less about me, my injury or this assault by that simple minded [censored].They didn't even offer me a Band-Aid.

Melissa Kent, the owner's daughter, spoke to me and all she offered me was a refund. I said that wasn't going to rectify this situation.

After I filed numerous bad reviews on various sites, describing what had transpired at my home, she wrote that I should call her. I finally got her attention! What did she think -- that I was just going to drop the whole thing?

She is a very aggressive, nasty bully, who immediately goes on the offensive, whenever there is a problem. She claimed this whole incident was my fault because I stepped in front of my dryer. She is impossible to deal with! She stated that she would give me the refund for the appliance, they refused to deliver, and the matter would be ended.

This matter certainly is not ended. An assault occurred and I have filed a police report and a criminal report for the prosecutor. Then, there is the civil matter, since Jermaine is an employee of their company

After reading many of the other bad reviews for this company, I can see the kind of business these people run. All they want to do is sell more appliances. They don't want to deal with any of the problems that come from running a business, such as any kind of damage to an appliance or the person's home or defective appliances. They ignore their customers and the problems and just hope they will go away without having to deal with them.

I immediately purchased a new dryer from a big box store. Their delivery time was 4 days versus 18 days with Snow Brothers.

Extremely poor customer service!

Buyer beware!

Don't deal with this company!
