May 10, 2017, Sky Travel International called me (several times), to solicit a vacation package at a Marriott Hotel, in Cancun for 75% off of 5 night stay, 40% off on excursions, eventurally bringing down price to $699 (of course tax brought to $810, then converted to pesos, in Mexico bank). I wondered about the Photo ID part they mentioned, but would check the contract they would send to my email, then decide. They recorded me approving the charge on my credit card company. Their number is: [protected], and my agent was Abby Everett. Her superior was Mr. Hernandez, and the PR person was Orlando. One fellow said they were based in Orlando, but since then, I've gotten a call from Hollywood, FL, which records the client's return call, but doesn't connect, except with a "bloop". I canceled with them by email, but they wouldn't accept that, and insisted on a cancelation form, whereby I would have to send a copy of my photo ID and my signature. I looked online and saw negative reviews, and felt Identity Theft was in the works. I canceled my charge with my credit card company, but they would only offer me a dispute, whereby it was up to STI to "do the right thing" and reverse charge. I changed cc account, and my bank account numbers. After five weeks, they sent a document to cc co. that the charge was a "non-refundable deposit". So, I reinstated the dispute, and will contact the Consumer Affairs (a federal agency), as BBB couldn't deal with international finance. These guys are criminals, as I never signed a contract, and I never got a product. Hernandez had told me that I could cancel with my cc company, easily---a total lie.
