I was not pleased with my recent experience with SistaLook. I made a purchase for a total of 157.00 bucks, but unfortunately the quality of the merchandise did not live up to my expectations. So, I decided to request a refund. However, to my dismay, they were uncooperative and unwilling to take back the items. After some lengthy back and forth, they finally gave me a return address, but the burden of shipping costs to send back the items was entirely on me. I had to pay a whooping 81.52 bucks out of my own pocket to send the package. I was glad to have finally returned the items; however, SistaLook claimed that they never received them and refused to issue my refund.

I had no choice but to take matters into my own hands. I contacted the post office to open an international inquiry, and now I must wait for 35 days for it to be resolved. It is worth noting that the package I shipped through Priority Mail was insured, so that is something to look forward to.

Sistalook.com, also known as Whatwears.com, is a site that sells women's fashion. But, I have to be honest, it's not a good site to buy from. First of all, they use photos of celebrities on Instagram to promote their clothing, which is not cool because those pictures are stolen. Second, the quality of the clothing is very cheap. What you see on the website is not what you get. It's like a totally different outfit when it arrives. And the reviews are just fake, you can tell that the reviewer described a different outfit from what is being shown.
When you try to return the merchandise, that's when you really start to see the shady practices. You find out that the items must be returned to China, which means it's gonna cost you a lot for the shipping alone. The customer service rep will try to bargain with you so you don't return the item by mentioning the high shipping costs. They might even offer you a refund of 10-30% to keep the merchandise. But, don't fall for it. You deserve better than that.
If you decide to report them to PayPal, they will increase the refund percentage but they'll ask you to close the PayPal case. This is just another way for them to avoid being tracked by PayPal. Even when you repeatedly ask them to track their messages in the PayPal resolution portal, they still refuse to do it. This is a sure sign of shady behavior.

To add to this aggravation, when I tried to use my debit card, it didn't allow me to complete my purchase for an unknown reason, but then SistaLook managed to make the damn transaction through PayPal and charged me anyway! I honestly don't even have an account with PayPal. However, since the purchase went through successfully, I presumed that everything would be okay. But, boy was I wrong! It has been almost two months, and there's not even a single sign of my order. Furthermore, they even provided me with a bogus tracking number that isn't even in the system yet, even after they claimed to have shipped it on May 12th, which I got an email about. And, to top it off, it's been a month since their email confirmation, and I still haven't received the order that I paid in full for!

When I attempted to ask them about my order status, they responded by indicating that due to Covid19, orders have been delayed. Honestly, I couldn't even tell that SistaLook is a scam until now, and I should have read reviews like this before purchasing from them. The whole experience is outrageous! It's apparent to me now that SistaLook and SistaDress are the same fraudulent businesses that steal not only your money but also sensitive information like your bank credentials.
