I love this app it’s nice and simple to use but there is one thing that bothers me and it only popped up today or it irritated me more today. When you are on the daily or go to the calendar and see what you did on the specific date more specificity today when I went onto the daily thing I clicked on a persons message that I had responded too and I couldn’t see what I wrote and when I went onto friends to see if they were there that I could add they weren’t and I can’t friend them now and I’m sad bc I would really truly like to but I can’t and I’m also sad that I can’t see what I’ve responded to what I’ve said to anyone on any day especially today bc now I want to friend them and see what I said to them but now I can’t. Anyways bye

This app is truly wonderful. I really feel like I’m helping people and the responses I’ve received have all been helpful and positive. There’s only a couple things I would suggest,

Maybe two times a day where new letters are received? (For example 3 pm and 10 pm) That way we can get new letters a couple times a day but not overloaded. And there’s plenty of time in between each letter delivery to read them and respond.

The second thing is the ability to write more than one letter a day. Sometimes there’s days I’d like to write more but I’ve already used my letter. Even being able to write just one more letter would be great :) anything helps. This app really is amazing though and I love it.

This app is really great,love the recent updates .
This app is where you can send letters anonymously and either answer the daily prompt or use a public or even private journal.But you can rant or share what you have in mind or answer the daily prompt and others can see and read and either send emojis etc to show they read and support or send you a response and give advice ,tips,or just show support.
Honestly this app is incredible and would recommend.I do wish I had more motivation to write letters everyday and keep my streak but I do forget at times so I hope they add maybe more notifications or just something to help motivate or remind you to write or respond more. Other then that I can’t wait to see how it improves as year’s goes on❤️❤️❤️❤️

As I said in the title the app is literally so good for people who want to hide their identity but still vent and throw their feelings out there. It’s even better when people respond so you can see how they feel or what they’d do if they were in your shoes. These are people who have either experienced or is learning what you went or are going through! When you share a story, not only are you helping yourself but helping others read it, your teaching and preparing others. But as I’ve said theirs one small bug and I’m not sure if it’s just mine, but whenever I tap to reply to a comment my chat box doesn’t open up so I’m not able to respond to other people! Please fix this bug ASAP! Your app is literally so good and with that fixed I can only see it improving!

I am so happy I found this app! I really needed it to be here to vent to express my feelings without be judged! Thank u to the developer of this app to make it available for ppl like me to vent or express ourselves. To feel something other then pain! I’ve read letters and wrote many of my own and the ppl on here have good advice.!the ppl on this website are my best friends from across the world. For once in 47 yr I feel like I’m a part of someone else’s life. I feel gratitude towards the ppl that I get to interact by reading their letters like they read mine! These ppl on here meaning everyone that uses this app is my breath to fresh air my friends from all over the world, I’m very thankful that you are here like I am. I’ve been sad and felt alone now I feel like I matter in this lifetime

I thoughly enjoy being able to anonymous confess my thoughts and to help other out. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this or not, but it's really fun. I love to hear people talk about what they love because you can tell they really have a passion for what they write. When people write about their problems, you can truely feel their pain, fear, and/or confusion. Sometimes it's scary to read what others write, but you know in the end one word or even one reaction and mean the world to that person. Being told how
much a stranger loves you and hopes you're safe and cared for is the sweetest thing you can every imagine. If you are truly anonymous in your writing you can show others how much a stranger can care. It's these little thing that can define your life, bit just starting them is the hard part.

this app has such an amazing concept! i’m really happy that there isn’t anything hindered by paywalls or any subscriptions. i really like the “sending a hug” feature because sometimes there are no words, a hug says it all!

the few things that i would want to change are how often letters are received, responding, and how often you can write a letter. i feel like it would be better if letters were received more often! because having the same letters all day gets kind of old and i want to reach out to more people. and being able to write as you please would let people get more of their thoughts and emotions out as they come. i also would like to not have to share every time i respond more than once. i get sharing every so often, but every time i want to respond a second or third time gets a little annoying lol.

This app is such a cute idea. I love feeling like I get to be supportive to others, and it’s so nice hearing back from people. First off I’d just like to say to the developers that I tried to send feedback from the app, but it seems like the email might be incorrect because the message was undeliverable. Second I wish was that notifications could be customized. I want to just be able to receive my daily reminder that I have new letters. It’s been too many notifications in my opinion to get alerted for every response. So I’d love to be able to customize which notifications I want. At this point I’ll just have to turn off notifications.
But overall I’m loving the app so much. It’s been a really fun part of my morning to respond to new letters, and then in the evening I love seeing what others have said back to me!

I really enjoy this app! I love being able to help others and getting help from others. I just have a few things you could add there small things that would make it better (imo)! So first, I was doing the question of the day and didn’t know what to put for a tag so adding a tag for the question of the day would be cool so it’s easy for people doing it to pick that as a tag and to not sit there and think for a bit to see what fits it best. The second thing is making the option for putting a trigger warning a bit bigger/in a different spot so people don’t accidentally click the send button and put a letter out there without a trigger warning. Just saying this again I really enjoy this app those were just a couple of things that would make it a bit better but I’m not complaining about it I really enjoy the flow of the app!

I got this app back in like February after I saw an ad on it and let me tell you, I really do not have any regrets on downloading it. You get to help people, and people around the world can help you too. I have met so many amazing friends my age on there and it is so comforting knowing that an app can make you find such amazing people. This app changed my life in the best way possible. When I had no one there for me, I had the amazing people on this app from all over the place to help me out of the dark hole I was in. The only thing I don’t like is that you have to wait until you can write another letter WHAT IF I’M REALLY HAPPY AND WANNA SAY MORE. Also, you have to wait until a person replies to text them again. I wish you could like double text the person yk because what if I forgot to add something or made a mistake But other than that I LOVE ITTTT YOU SHOULD FOR SURE GET IT!

I’ve only been writing back to people for 2 days, and it’s already one of my favorite apps. I love how personable people get, and i love reading, and relating, to others issues. It makes me feel like i’m really able to help out a strangers day, which makes me feel happy :) My only “complaint” is that I can not write more than 4 letters, I hope one day enough people use the app so that I can write until my heart is content (never). The team behind this concept deserve an award of some kind because i can totally see this helping out a lot of people. Especially for teenagers, confiding in a stranger their age without bias, can surprisingly result in some of the wisest advice. You should absolutely download this app. Even if you aren’t good with giving advice, it’s still nice to relate to others stories. Or, if you need advice, then I strongly suggest downloading as everyone is so nice to each other and supportive. Someone out there who cares about you! - (look for the frog!)

I absolutely love this app and I feel that it’s a great way to get your emotions out and help others who may need it. The one thing i do dislike though is that people can leave reactions to your letters instead of actually responding.

Some people may need genuine guidance/advice and it’s zero help whatsoever by dropping a heart emoji or something else in response to their letter. I know there is an option to skip letters, but far too many people ignore this just so they can keep leveling up and get ‘promoted’ for responding to others letters. This is no fault to the developers themselves, but I feel like you should either make people respond, or skip the letters entirely.

I asked for guidance on a personal topic previously and got one written response.. and 7 emoji responses. I was so frustrated because I asked a question, hoping for actual written responses. It felt so discouraging to open up about something bothering me, just to have no one actually assist me aside from one person.

I just started using it and I think it’s a helpful way to connect to others and vent. Overall I love this app and will continue using it. Sadly it does have some minor things that could be fixed. It would be nice if there was a directory space so we could get to certain features on the app but there’s not really one so as a beginner it’s kind of annoying going from the main page to your old letters. It would be nicer if it was more organized. All in one page you have our responses, our letters, and read letters. It would be much more helpful if they were all separated but also easy to get to (ex. Swiping to the next page) I also think it would be cool to have a feature where we can see the matter written while also being able to respond to it. Also since sensitive subjects could are talked about here, it would be helpful to have the help crisis number somewhere in the app. I think these are the main improvements that could be done to make the app easier to navigate and enjoy.

There is no one to talk to on this app. Which is bad! I’m extremely disappointed. A lot of people have the wrong idea about this app. That the people on this app can heal people. People have serious problems that need medical attention.

The people responding on this app are normal people.
Your basically have a one side conversation about someone problems. You are a unpayed untrained psychotherapist/ psychiatrist/ medical health/ doctor who gives advice. Ppl need doctors. Or a life coach. People get recommended this app for healing which if you get a good person they rate the app good. This is not support to talk to someone. There should be more oversight.

This app is for if you have a bad day or need to vent about relationships or friendships advice. NOT SERIOUS topics. BUT ALOT OF PPL HAVE ED WITH FOOD/BODY!

I can’t / others CANT TREAT YOUR PROBLEMS! You NEED TO CALL A HOTLINE FOR HELP! Those ppl can help you BETTER THAN A STRANGER CAN!

I’m not a fan of social media, but I still want to feel connected. This app is the best app I have EVER downloaded. You write an anonymous journal entry (prompts are given but you don’t need to follow them), and strangers respond with advice, shared feelings, anything. I’ve always struggled with journaling every day, and this makes me motivated to do so (I don’t want my family and friends to read my journal but when it’s anonymous you get real unfiltered advice and responses which makes you motivated to share your feelings to see if others feel the same way, you’re overreacting, etc). I am so excited to get my letters every day. I also love how they limit you to 3/4 so that you actually get excited (instead of it being endless and you don’t appreciate it anymore… endless cycle of tiktok…). This app reminds you that people are also struggling, and you are not alone. It’s real people and real stories and real feelings, much more refreshing than traditional social media will ever be. It helps me really reflect on my life and reflect on other peoples lives. I feel refreshed, grateful and grounded after I use this app. Instead of anxious depressed and sluggish. Download this app. You’ll thank yourself later.

I have had this app for only a few days, but I've really enjoyed it so far! I’ve only met nice people on this app as of now. It’s cool that you can add people so that you can talk to them more later. It feels nice to be able to talk about anything thats been on my mind, relate to other people, or even give others some advice. You can learn more about yourself by writing your thoughts down.

One complaint I have is that the interactions can get extremely annoying. It’s fine when they pop up on your screen the first time, but it comes up every time I switch between the “Daily” and “Inbox” pages. It always has the red dot on my inbox and no matter how many times I check on the interaction it doesn't go away or stop. Still, it’s not a very big deal and it doesn’t affect my time on the app much.

The refresh time is also confusing. The default is 8pm, but I set it to 12am. That didn’t change anything and it still refreshes at 8. It also says that you can write one letter every 24 hours unless you share the app with a friend. I’ve tried waiting the 24 hours, but when I came to the app an hour after the refresh, it had just restarted the timer and didn’t give me another chance to write a letter until the 8pm refresh. I don’t have enough friends to share the app with!

i absolutely love this app. being able to write my problems and thoughts down and getting responses back doesn’t only help me sort through them but it also is comforting to know that someone else took the time to write back. i absolutely love it so much and i’m gonna be using it forever. also, being able to respond to more people’s letters is so amazing. i’ve been here since the very beginning and having all these updates has been great!

i have an idea though. i think it would be really cool if you could like go to a place that connected you with an anonymous random person and was just able to text back and forth. you could just ask about each others days, get some immediate advice, or just talk to someone if you really need it. like before you enter a chat you could choose if you want to get advice, give advice, or just chat and get matched with someone based on that. it could connect you with other people who also want to chat, but keep everything completely anonymous on both ends. getting immediate feedback or advice would be really helpful to some people. being able to hop on and ask a question would provide that.

overall i think it’s an amazing app and i only see it improving and getting more popular! i absolutely love it and hope to see it keep on growing!

it’s a lovely app and in the 2 weeks i’ve had it, i’ve been able to talk to some really nice people. there are a few changes i would like to see implemented but that’s not the point of my review today. i just wanted to say that i’ve been experiencing what seems to be a glitch. so i’ve been chatting with this person on the app, and when i was typing a message to them, i accidentally somehow pressed the “add friend” button, which is totally fine since i was gonna add them as a friend eventually. but my issue is that after i sent my message, the bar to type new messages disappears and it’s replaced with a button-looking thing that just says “Waiting…”. i didn’t mind this at first since i thought the message typing bar would come back after the friend request was accepted or when the person sends me a new message (whichever one happens first). well the friend request did get accepted and i was right, the message typing bar came back, but right after i sent the person another message, the bar disappeared again and the “Waiting…” thing shows up again as if the person still hasn’t accepted my friend request (which i know they did because i can literally see them on my friends list). there’s literally no way for me to get rid of this “Waiting…” thing and make the message typing bar appear again. this means that i can only send this person 1 message at a time, and if i want to send them another message, i have to hope that they’ll send me a message back please fix this lol i’ve really been loving the app and it would be a shame if i got disconnected from this great person just because of this seemingly small issue :(

I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS APP. BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST INSTALLMENTS ON MY PHONE. It’s become a part of my daily routine. I love being able to help out other people, even if I have NO idea who they are. I also get to speak my mind without feeling judged and feel SO SO LOVED. The app is so wholesome and its the healthiest environment I have ever experienced. I feel like I can say anything on there and not a single person will judge me for it. It’s my safe space. It’s like free therapy almost haha. Some suggestions/feedback though. The app runs VERY VERY SMOOTHLY which I LOVE THATT. I love how there’s no ads but obviously as the app gets bigger (hopefully there’s no toxic ppl) you may need to add them so u can make money hehe. I will still use this app tho obviously it’s the best thing ever and 100% worth the ads. It helps my mental health sm. I also trust ur administration abilities to pow pow the evils HAHA. Anyway I kinda wish I could send multiple letters in a day bc so much can happen in the span of 24 hrs and sometimes i dont get a chance to say everything i wanted to in one letter and forget something or another. I am also 100% ok with it if this ends up being an extra addition that you need to pay for or whatever. I will be willing because I LOVE THIS APP SO SO MUCH. I truly appreciate you and probably so many others do as well for creating this amazing app. I don’t usually write reviews but this DEFINITELY deserves one. Also how r u gonna see my suggestions without me saying anything, right? I also kinda wish there was an option to see previous letters. I can see the ones I posted this current month but I want to look back and see the ones from December too that would be nice. Reflection on how I’ve been doing etc. also I’ve been reading a few other reviews and I 100% agree with them about adding a chat room. The idea of immediate response with a random stranger just to talk if you’re feeling lonely or whatever sounds like a really good idea! Keep up the AMAZING work though! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This app provides a great place for those who either want others’ opinions or help, and for those who are kind and want to help others and have good insight. For me, it mainly offers a way to continue using my many years of experience being supportive to people in distress. I also see it as a way to write about things that matter to me. Here are some things I see that need to be fixed:
1. A few times, my respose has been sent when I was in the middle of writing it. I know I did not hit the Send button, so I don’t know why that is happening. There should be another prompt after you do hit Send that says, Are you sure you want to send this response?
2. The app asks questions to prompt people to write something. The developers need to find a way to make those optional. Today, one of those came up (“ write a letter to yourself and see it in one month”) and took up the whole screen. I didn’t want to participate in answering, and even after I said Done, it would not let me go anywhere else in the app. I didn’t want to respond and I don’t want to be held captive to answering something I don’t want to answer.
3. This is a comment on content. I think it would prompt more participation to offer more than one question for readers to answer, in case one of them doesn’t fit. The questions seem to be aimed at a very young audience. How about us older folks who would like to participate? For instance, “What would your best job be?” has no interest for me. How about questions like, What have you discovered about is most important in making lasting friendships? Or, How can you tell if someone isn’t respecting your boundaries? Or, when did you know it was time to find a different job? These are questions that would appeal to people of all ages. And there should be more than one offered at a time. Personally, I like questions such as, What made you happy today? What has recently surprised you about other people’s behaviors? What do you wish you could go back and redo in your life?

Deleting simply because you do not have the option of NOT establishing and displaying pronouns

the app is good and all but when i respond to a letter i can’t see what they said to me after.

Wanted to try this app out, but it will not send the email with the code. And I’d rather not Sign in with Apple.

I haven’t gotten a single reply since I joined and all I really wanted was to feel seen and get something in return

they only allow you to write 2 letters. If you want to write more, you have to invite a friend to join. We can answer as many as we want. That’s not fair.

My letters don’t get sent to anybody! If they are then not one person reads them. It’s not helpful and it’s not fun to vent to if I’m not going to get any reply.

there’s this guy on the app that said hella rude things to me, and I tried to block and report him, but whenever I reopen the app, he was still there. I kinda wish it was a little better

it was a good app at first i loved it. but then it just started giving me letters of suicidal people talking about how sad their lives are. and then it randomly logged me and and doesnt let me log back in

i was wondering if somehow you could make it so we are able to respond to has many letters as we would like. i love helping people and i love responding to people it’s like therapy for me to help people. thank you for this app.

What’s the point of having an app based around anonymity if people can share my letters? That’s so redundant and honestly a bad move on the developers. I, as well as many people, have poured my heart out into letters and now people can share my deepest secrets with others

I loved this app but it’s losing its heart. I’m not okay with possibly having my letters posted to the social medias of people I don’t know, that’s really strange to me. I’ve had to censor myself too much cause as anonymous as all this is it can end up anywhere. Idk /: I just liked it better when there were less options, the updates have come too quickly and with too many bells and whistles.

Causes immense stress on one person to deal with many other peoples problems and when you express your own problem, people attack you and say all kinds of negative things no person should have to deal with other peoples thoughts. This is why you keep your own notes in a journal. me personally, I was attacked by strangers because I made a mistake, and I’m scared to even look at this app,, and you can’t block messages either i feel so nauseous about what people have said to me..

This app is nice and all for venting but the moderation is becoming excessive.

Firstly I am getting zero responses to my letters which feels very invalidating, defeating the purpose of this app. As someone who suffers with mental health issues I’d like it if I felt heard and validated, not the other way around.

There should be a contact app support option in the app where someone can contact a moderator when needed. In addition, if for some reason my letters are being removed I should be notified of the reason why instead of not knowing what the issue with my letters are.

I'm super intrigued by this app. I wanna use it but the app doesn't run. What do I do?

I couldn’t even log in. I was excited because of the reviews. But I used my email and ebenerer in the correct code and it didn’t even work. trash app

I like writing responses but the app doesn’t seem to let me post my own letters. I was hoping it would be a little more of an exchange. It’s seems pretty one way right now.

I had the app for about 2 weeks. I posted my own message the day I downloaded the app. My message only got one view in the whole 2 week period and no response, yet I was actively responding to other messages. I decided to delete because 2 weeks seems like a long time to be waiting for a response.

i really love this app and the whole concept of it- but after a while, you can’t respond to ANY notes unless you share the app with someone. not even the note that says “just for you”. i don’t have anybody i can share the app with, and i just want to be able to help at least one person from the three notes i get. not being able to respond to people just throws away the whole purpose of the app.
