My billin information is inaccurate. I have spoken with multiple representatives from your company to be told I would hear back to hear nothing. I would like to be contacted directly. This is an issue that has gone on since December with no end in sight.

I canceled the policy 2 weeks after opening it because they couldn't give me a receipt with their name on it, so I could get reimbursed from my employer. They said it would take 3-5 days to get the refund. It's been 10 days now, and I'm paying interest on the account. I want my money back.

I've been callin' and emailin' for the past 2 weeks, but ain't got no claim paid yet. They keep tellin' me that all the necessary info has been sent and it's in the final review, but still nothin' has been paid. My email for the account is ***@ligtel.com and my date of birth is ***. Gotta give this info to any customer service rep to access my account. All I want is for 'em to pay the expenses like they promised in the plan agreement. I've uploaded receipts for the meds I bought in 2021 and a doctor bill for ***.

Sidecar Health Sidecar Health is my health insurance company

Sidecar Health is my health insurance company. They tell you to use their tool to figure out how much they will pay before you go to the doctor. I did this before going to an Urgent Care for bronchitis. The tool said I would get $292 for the visit. I sent them the bill, which showed that I went to an Urgent Clinic connected to South Miami Hospital. But Sidecar only paid $73 and said it was for a return visit to the doctor. I told them this was wrong, but they said it's because of the medical codes. I did everything they said and still got way less money than I expected. They should give me my money back.

I'm a Sidecar Health customer and I recently submitted claims for an outpatient *** repair at a *** center. The total billed charges were $4991.43, but Sidecar's app estimated coverage at $7041. They did mention that there might be some differences between their coverage and the actual costs, which I understood. However, when I sent in my invoice with the billing codes, they informed me that my benefit coverage was only $1587. I expected some discrepancies, but a coverage amount of about 1/3rd is not what they advertised. So far, I've paid more out of pocket than what my policy covers, which is not what I was promised.

I also spoke with multiple company representatives who assured me that there were no limits, except for policy limitations, on what I could process with their Sidecar *** card. But on the day of my ***, I was surprised to find out that there was actually a $2500 total limit, despite my policy having a $2 million limit. This company's business practices are fraudulent and their advertising is deceptive. I want them to fully cover the cost of my *** and related services. I also hope they can be consistent in their messaging, so that other customers don't have to deal with this unprofessional and unethical behavior.

Sidecar Health Sidecar Health is making policies that ain't even mentioned in their indemnity plan

Sidecar Health is making policies that ain't even mentioned in their indemnity plan. 'Cause of these undisclosed policies, I wasn't informed and now they ain't giving me full coverage for my claim. I called and talked to a manager who couldn't even find the policies they're enforcing in my plan. But she also said they can't help me anymore and won't give me full coverage. This ain't fair 'cause it ain't my fault they didn't disclose these policies. The policies they're enforcing are: 1. Gotta change your annual max benefit before your dates of service. (This is confusing 'cause other Sidecar Health members told me I could change it anytime, so I didn't worry 'bout not having enough coverage. If I needed more, I could just call or change it online. Turns out, that ain't true, it's only at certain times. But I couldn't have known 'cause it ain't in the indemnity. I'm okay with this policy, it makes sense. It's just that they didn't tell me.) 2. Claims go on your old policy or new policy based on the date of service, not when it's billed. (Again, this ain't in the indemnity and it's caused a lot of confusion.) I attached pics of the pages in the indemnity where the manager said those 2 policies were. If you read 'em, they ain't there. I also attached a screenshot of the email where the same manager mentioned those pages. All I want is for Sidecar Health to admit their mistakes and fix this situation. I want my claim to be fully covered like it would've been if they included these policies in my indemnity.

Sidecar Health On 9/2/2022, I bought a health insurance plan that said it had prescription drug coverage

On 9/2/2022, I bought a health insurance plan that said it had prescription drug coverage. The plan was supposed to start on 9/16/2022. But on 9/23/2022, when I went to the pharmacy with my prescription, the pharmacist told me that the error code she got showed that this plan didn't cover drugs. The drug wasn't expected to be covered, but Sidecar was supposed to be a prescription drug insurance company that could give me the Group number, Bin Number, PCN, and ID number needed for a denial of coverage. But the numbers they gave me didn't belong to a prescription drug insurance company, they were for a "savings card" instead. So the denial code wasn't valid and they couldn't deny my prescription. Because of this, I couldn't use the manufacturer coupon that would have made the drug cost only $25 per month instead of $1218. Because Sidecar falsely advertised and made false statements in their policy, I couldn't get my prescription filled. I had to get another insurance company to do it. This caused a delay in getting my prescription and cost me $95 for the premium. I wrote to Sidecar twice asking for a refund of my premium, but they didn't give me one. So I disputed the premium charge with my credit card company. Now I'm waiting for a response from my credit card issuer, Citi, which can take up to 45 days. If they don't resolve it, I'll take them to small claims court in California. Just to be clear, what I'm disputing is not whether the drug was covered, but whether I actually bought real prescription drug coverage. As the toggle button suggests, you can choose to have or not have prescription drug coverage for an extra $20 (see plan comparison photo). But it turns out you're not actually paying for prescription drug coverage, as confirmed by the error message the pharmacy gets that explains the difference between commercial prescription drug coverage and a savings card. It's false advertising.

Sidecar Health I contacted Sidecar Health many times about a claim my pharmacy submitted on 11/26

I contacted Sidecar Health many times about a claim my pharmacy submitted on 11/26. I already paid 20% of the cost on the same day. It's been 18 business days, way longer than the 7-10 days they said it would take. The transaction happened on 11/26 and I sent proof on 11/29. After 5 business days with no response from Sidecar, I sent more proof on 12/6. They keep giving me the same excuse on the phone and through email, saying it takes 7-10 business days. But I submitted claims after that on 12/6, which I paid for out of my own pocket because I can't use the Sidecar visa anymore. After using it once on 11/26 to pay for a critical medication, it got declined for other medications. When I called, they said I reached my limit and can't use the card until they process that expense, even though they already took 20% from my bank account. All my out-of-pocket expenses have been processed now. But they just told me the 7-10 days is just a courtesy, and they actually have up to 30 days. No one mentioned that until I said I would complain. The pharmacy charged me $2376.57 for one medication, and I think Sidecar is doing everything they can to avoid processing it properly. They keep stalling and making excuses. I can't afford to pay their premium and keep paying for my medication out of pocket. It defeats the purpose of having this insurance. The premium is due to be debited from my account on 12/23, and I know they'll get paid even though their customer service hasn't been good. They already applied the credits from my out-of-pocket expenses to the upcoming premium. I have no choice but to let it happen. I just need them to process the expense from 11/26 now.
