To whom it may concern: My name is [Your Name] and I would like to make a complaint on behalf of myself and my husband [Husband's Name] (aka [Husband's Nickname]) pertaining to a company who recently did work on my roof whom is based out of Fresno, Ca. called Side by Side Better Life/PGS Solar & Home Improvement at 123 N Fine Ave Suite 456 Fresno, Ca. 78901 (I was also given a second address) 2023 N Main Street Blvd. Suite 789 Fresno, Ca 01234. There are many events that have brought me to file this complaint. I have done everything I can as a consumer to resolve problems but to date have been unsuccessful. I am deeply concerned about the many things that have happened to me while dealing with this company and feel that it is my duty as a consumer to ensure that this is reported so that no other customers go through what I have been going through. Some of the things that have occurred are constant changing of my contracts and I have been harassed non-stop even though I have complied with them about payment. The problem with payment is simply that the contractors want me to pay them a different amount than agreed upon per contract terms which are signed by me and the company representatives. Because I refuse to pay an amount that is outside of our agreement I have been receiving calls and text messages that occur even outside of what would be considered normal business hours along with threats of the company taking legal action against me. I am at a point that the stress from this company's harassment has impacted my daily life so much that I am having trouble sleeping and have developed anxiety over the simplest things such as a call or text in worry that it will be this company harassing me once again. In particular the names of the persons with whom I have had contact with as employees of "Side by Side Better Life/ PGS Solar & Home Improvement" are by name: [Employee Name 1], [Employee Name 2], [Employee Name 3], [Employee Name 4]. Although I am not the most tech-savvy person nor am I familiar with submitting applications online for anything I allowed this company to submit the applications for loans on my behalf, believing that it was being done so in a proper and professional manner. However, this was not the case as I found out after speaking with the loan companies directly. I was informed by representatives from "Side by Side Better Life/PGS Solar & Home Improvement" that the reason they wanted me to switch loan companies from the original being Green Sky to the other financial institute called Sunlight, was because the loan from Sunlight could offer me a lower APR. It was only upon receiving the threats and continued harassment from "Side by Side Better Life/ PGS Solar & Home Improvement", that I decided that I would take it upon myself to call the companies in which I had received the loans with to determine if perhaps there was a problem that had occurred on my end. To my surprise I was told by Sunlight Financial [protected], that my loan amount was indeed different than the price that was agreed upon. I was under the impression that the total amount applied for was in the amount of $10,785.00 however "Side by Side Better Life/ PGS Solar & Home Improvement" requested without my permission or consent $13,650.00. This was far outside the amount that was in our contract. I then asked the loan company for the information pertaining to my case and they mailed me some copies of paperwork that had been submitted by "Side by Side Better Life/PGS Solar & Home Improvement". When I received the copies via mail something in the copies caught my attention. To my surprise the contract that was submitted to Sunlight financial was different than that of the original contract as if it was photoshopped. The copy that was submitted to Sunlight financial was only a picture copy of the contract that was taken by [Employee Name] by his cell phone. Again the copy submitted by this company did not match the original which I have copies and will be sending upon receiving a case number for this complaint. I do not intend on confusing the circumstances of my complaint and would much rather speak with a representative to better explain my situation. Again these are only some of the things that have occurred. I would greatly appreciate a call from your department so that I can explain in further detail the events that have occurred up to date. I will be faxing some of the main pieces of paperwork that I have in regard to this matter but I do have others which you may want and if so would be happy to fax as well should it be determined they are of importance. This company it seems was fraudulent to the finance company and they used my information fraudulently. This is disturbing and worries me because had I not contacted the finance companies, I would not have known at all that this was happening. Although the loan is done and the amount they asked me for and asked the loan company for is done with the money just sitting and ready for "Side by Side Better Life/PGS Solar & Home Improvement" to pick up they have not done so due to the fact that they want me to pay more outside of that amount that was in our contract agreement leaving this matter incomplete. I am very worried and concerned because if the loan is not picked up by "Side by Side Better Life/ PGS Solar & Home Improvement" the finance company will cancel the loan and I fear that this could have a negative impact on me as if I did not try to pay them. Furthermore, I have now received a letter from the supply company that "Side by Side Better Life" used and they are also threatening me with putting a lien on my home due to non-payment and I do not know what more I can do to resolve this as again the loan company has the money waiting for them to pick up and failure to do so on their end is impacting my life and home greatly. I would greatly appreciate your time and consideration in this matter as well as a phone call to confirm that my complaint has been received, as well as answer any questions your department may have for me and also I would like to speak with someone so that I can describe my complaint in further detail.
