I called on tuesday August 15th after we had been away for two weeks on vacation. My son had put our downstairs unit on fan only . Which got it really humid in our house. We returned and smelled it. Then called as stated August 15th. I asked if they could come out right away. She stated no problems she would have someone call me in 24 to 48 hours. My question after that was. Yeah but I need someone out here this week. She said no problems the contact person would set it up.

Thursday the 17th I get a call from Dominic with servepro stating he would be glad to come by Monday to look as he was on vacation at the time. I stated sir I need someone out right away as I was getting headaches and dizziness from the air coming from the ac units. He said I need to come count the registers to give you a quote. I said I will count them for you if you can get someone out this week. He said he would let me know the price and if agreed his guys would be there tomorrow. He texted me a quote of 1250.00 for each unit to be deep cleaned ,deodorizer, and a fresh scent put threw the system. I asked if his guys taped off the registers before sending the stuff through my system for my animals sake. He said yeah sure sure no problems. And all products we use are safe. I agreed to his charge even though my downstairs units had 27 registers and my upstairs unit only had 7. My wife thought the cost breakdown per unit was ridiculous. I use wanted a good job. He said after my day of vaction I will send you a quote to docusign at 10pm. I must sign immediately and send back to get his guys our that next morning. I waited till 12a.m to finally get the docusign. Needing to be at work at 6 am made this very stressful. But I went along. His guys came the next day. Were there for a couple of hours. And then left. My wife they never tapped off the vents while doing the process. It never changed the moldy smell. So not sure if they didn't use enough deodorizer or non at all. They claimed to have done a deep clean. I called Dominic the next morning saying I'm not happy. The smell was still there and whatever the did had no change. He came by and said I am a man of my word. I will have them right back out. The next Saturday they came our and I was present. I first was appalled at seeing a truck from New York show up with a different company name then servepro. I'm thinking I didn't call this company. The owner Armando was not happy about having to do it again. He took hours trying to explain how I needed all my duct work replaced instead of cleaning. He said his guys should've noticed that on first visit and not tried to clean it. Because he said you can't clean them. It needs replaced. I asked him where my air handler was for my upstairs unit. He spoke to his nephew which was there the first visit with his son. He said I think under the house. It took Armando an hour to find my air handler in my attic which didn't get cleaned the first visit. Nor did they do my master bathroom register. He said Dominic is just a salesman not a serviceman. The blame game was played between him and Dominic. Armando was gonna get me an estimate for replacing everything. Meanwhile I made them a sandwich and tipped them 100 cash in hopes to get good service moving forward. I noticed a day later my security camera to my garage was disconnected and my dewalt cordless drill and extended battery was missing. I get a text two days later from Armando saying it would cost 16,000.00 dollars plus the cost of ducts . I immediately called Dominic to not only complain about the whole deal but to also awear him the drill might have been picked up by accident could he please check into it. And that I told him that his crew was not to step back on my property because at this point I don't trust them. He said he wanted to make me happy and this job right. And he would investigate it and get back to me the following week after he got back from another vaction. The next week goes by no call or text nothing. I called him that following Monday to only get a fast text response saying ,"let me know how much money your looking to get back?" Keep in mind he Said , "my guys came twice and your ducts did need cleaning. I texted back saying let's talk about this on the phone. No response. I call again and he answers . I told him I wanted 1500 back from. The wasted2300 I spent and lost a drill too which was 300 dollars worth. He got pissy saying I worked on this during vaction. I got them right out and right back. My response was you being on vaction didn't have anything to do with my business. If you were too busy you should've said we can't do it and not waste my time. He wants to make it right but not really. I texted him a final text saying I wanted 1500 back or give me his though on what would be fair. Again no response . I also told him I had another local company come. They not only cleaner all my duct work and return box. They also sealed my registers like I had done in the past. And they fogged my system for mold remediation. Then disinfectant with deodorizer. It not only smelled better but my wife and I both felt much better. So now I have 3800 in duct cleaning fees. One missing dewalt drill that I use very frequently. That I now have to come out of pocket to replace. I'm asking you as a national reputable company to help me with this not so hard of a request to get a refund that I deserve. My next steps are BBB,then court if not dealt with in a professional manner. I would like to add a big notation. If someone calls Servepro they expect a servepro vehicle and employee to show up. Dominic needs to tell all clients he is sending a third party company to do his work prior. So he is not misrepresenting your national company name. It's exploitation at its best. Desired outcome: Full refund to replace my missing drill and battery along with my time wasted trying to get correct results. I had no problems paying on my end. My problem was everything that came with it.
