The game is pretty decent, bad graphics but it is at least still playable. I love how you can get coins in every match you play, and then you can spent it on the characters that you want to get. I like how you can go to the shop in the lobby and grab the skins you want to get that cost around a decent amount of coins. The thing that I like the most is that you can play with your friends or even your siblings. I also like how you can chat with other people with your voice instead of having to type what you want to say in a chat box. I even like that the kids have abilities so they can get though the round much faster. I also even like how if you work together the faster you will get in the basement and unleash all the dark stuff and secrets in the Neighbor’s basement that he is trying to keep a secret.

I am a fan of Hello Neighbor so I was excited to hear that Secret Neighbor was being ported to mobile. When I first booted up the game I had low expectations because the last Hello Neighbor games on mobile have been serious downgrades compared to the console and computer versions. I feel like I was right to have low expectations when I started playing. There are so many different controls all crammed together on the screen than it was hard to move and look around without activating one of them making it uncomfortable to control. The main reason I gave this game four stars is because it does run smoothly for the most part, doing much better than the previous Hello Neighbor ports. The graphics are alright and the microphone works just fine. I hope in future updates they will rearrange the buttons to make it easier to move around.

I’m so great full that you can now play secret neighbor on mobile devices! Secret neighbor has been one of my favorite games for a long time, and I don’t have a computer that I can play it on. So now that I can play it on mobile I’m very thrilled!

But there is a problem…. It’s really hard to win as a kid in the game- especially if you just started playing. The only way you have an actual 99% chance of winning is if your neighbor

The game is so fun and set up very well except for how the neighbor is an automatic win…new players have a hard time finding keys and pro players do too!

1. Keys are too hard to find in time
2. The neighbor will get you before you can even get the keys
3. Usually whenever a game starts some people leave because they didn’t get the role they wanted or the neighbor is too powerful :’(

The game is really fun I like talking to people and I love trying to figure out who the neighbors but what I don’t like is bugs glitches and how the game gets so old I mean by that is boring but other than that I love this game I love how you could hire some of the music and lore some of the music so I can listen to more people is that a game distracted I love that you can throw some things at the neighbors I think that’s really really fun and I guess another downside is when you’re the neighbor it’s really hard to walk around and you can glitch through the wall I don’t really like that one time when I was playing I threw something at the neighbor with a glitch and then the neighbors somehow ended up getting me I thought that was very annoying and that was not just one thing time it happened it happened multiple times all in all I love this game!

I’ve been watching this game on TV a lot I wanted the game but it was $20 on my pc so I checked if I could get it on my phone I saw that it was on my phone but it was a pre-order I waited till the game came out on mobileI got the game and I was excited to play when I first got into the gameI noticed that the house was a different one I watched on TV so I kept on playing and since I was the neighbor the first time I won since it’s very easy to win if you’re the neighbor then I joined another match confused because I didn’t know that there was a different map and then I saw a different map different from the first one I noticed what it was because I played the original hello neighbor and those are the only two maps and I got pretty upset I don’t know if that was an update or that there are two versions of the game or there were more maps and I didn’t know

1) No tutorial.

2) Terrible mobile controls. The UI is cluttered with things you can accidentally touch and turning and movement is difficult to do on phone screen.

3) If you leave the game after getting caught, you don’t get points for the coins you found. And let’s assume you can after the game, normal match is 15 minutes long. Which means unless the players finish early you’re stuck sitting there waiting a long time to get your points. That’s been the trend for my games so far.

4) Number three makes getting skins really annoying, skins cost 1000 to 2000~ coins. You only get coins if you find coins during the game or after a win maybe.

5) If the game music is on, you can’t hear anyone speaking on VC, and throughout the game itself the VC hasn’t worked at all for a listener.

Overall the gameplay doesn’t feel very rewarding, atm. I want to like it but I’m already frustrated.

Now, I played a few games and if I’m being completely honest it was ok. I know that you guys just brought the game to mobile and obviously every game that just comes out needs improvements so I’ll just create a list of what I would like in the game and I’m sure what a lot of other people would like as well. 1. Customizable controls, I think a great addition to the game would be the ability to customize your HUD layout, the current layout is pretty uncomfortable for me at least. So please let us have the option to customize our controls to the way we like it :) 2. More frames, I think there should be more frames in the game (and maybe graphics settings) to welcome a much more smooth and enjoyable experience. This is all I ask from you guys and I hope you take this into consideration. I hope your game grows and grows to become one of the biggest games on the App Store! Congrats on bringing the game to mobile!

This is an AMAZING GAME. However, like every game, there are a few bugs that I would like to be fixed. Here they are. LAG. JUST THE LAG. loading takes forever as well, so it takes a while to be able to play with my friends. Also, I used to play on switch, and I couldn’t play with my friend who was on Xbox. I now have it on xbox , but I’ve not tried it on there yet, so I don’t know how it works. I would appreciate if you would try to fix these bugs. Also, before I end this, I want to say I feel sorry for the people sending in the critical reviews saying that they demand you fix the bugs now, thinking they are the boss of you and know everything. If someone reading this is one of those people. QUIT. I’m not making you, because I don’t have that kind of power, but I’m asking you to quit being mean to the developers. I’m sure they’re trying their hardest to help. Anyways, that’s all I have to say. Great game, keep up the good work!

I love this game and I have a big amagination and I had this dream where the inventor could steal any player/neighbor abilities now it was kind of strange when I’m in a hotel lost 1 tooth already and then for the first time have a dream about secret neighbor. I love the hello neighbor franchise and I’m wanting to be the brave for Halloween and it’s March 26th 2022 so I’ve been wanting to have the ability to become him plus I have a clown, scary neighbor, brave, detective, inventor, leader, bagger, no butcher, and no scout
I know I have a lot wasting time using up my coins on costumes but now I’m serious once I get every character in the game using my coins then what’s the point add a new character don’t just put subscriptions up to buy something that’s monthly or yearlong add some more cool maps the hello neighbor lovers are going to love it! (Includes me) plus I’ve been searching Thearies for 3 years and finally found out his backstory

Ok so a while ago I bought secret neighbor on mobile and I was SUPER excited because I always play it on Xbox. But when I got In the game I realized pretty much everything is worth money. Even the characters like brave costs money. I HATE USING BAGGER! One suggestion: you should be able to pick what character to start with that’s free. Anyways if you want to play this game but you can use every character, I suggest playing on Xbox,pc,or PlayStation 4. The app costs money but at least you can be different things then bagger or whatever you start with these days. Oh and btw if you did not know the concept of the game it’s kids breaking in this mans house (mr.Peterson) and trying to rescue their friend Nicky. Nicky is from the original hello neighbor who went down to the basement to look for Aaron and Mya the kids who originally disappeared. I know everyone probably knows this if your a fan of hello neighbor like me but why the heck not explain anyways.

Ok, a lot of People won’t agree with me but let me explain. Secret Neighbor is a fun, free, First person 3D game it doesn’t have the best graphics, but it still looks and plays great! It has some downsides like you have to unlock characters but otherwise it’s a very fun game. The controls are very easy to adapt to (for me) and, the controls are also very fluid! Why I say it is the next among us is because it is a game about 6 kids that break into The Neighbor’s house to find out his secrets in his house! But one of them is the Neighbor Disguise.
It has the elements of Among us, by being a game about basically a imposter in a group and you have to complete tasks (unlock doors and find keys for secret neighbor) while among us has the crew mates COMPLETELY DEFENSELESS! Secret Neighbor can have the kids fighting back against the neighbor with items or certain classes like Brave or Scout, thats what I hated about among us, you were completely defenseless but in Secret Neighbor, you can fight back! This game fixes a lot of issues I had with among us and it’s a 5/5 for me and would certainly be higher if I could actually go beyond 5!

I like the game but the coin system is not ideal the tickets are good since their meant to be harder to get and you start with quite a few. The coins on the other hand are harder to get unless your neighbor, even then you’ll probably max out to 150-170 and some neighbors are 10,000. I suggest lowering the character prices (except leader). I also think the highest a character should be is 400-500. The cosmetics are perfectly priced in my opinion since you can get 1-10 coins as survivor. I think you should make one coin you find in game equal 50- 100 since their are outfits that cost 2020 coins. Now gameplay is perfect in my opinion but maybe giving the surroundings less detail like making wallpaper less detailed or getting rid of the shine for some items the game would flow better. Finally, you should add a in game friend system so I can get in an actual game with my friends instead of making a custom to play. Some of my friends are on pc/Ps4 so it is annoying that we can’t just invite each other to non custom matches. I also meet people in matches and are nice but I can’t friend them so it is sad I can’t friend them after the match.

I find this game to be unfair (yet I’m still somehow super addicted to it). I think the neighbor is too overpowered. When playing neighbor, you’re pretty much guaranteed to win. Conversely, if you’re a kid, you’re pretty much guaranteed to lose so long as the person playing neighbor tries - even just a little bit. Another problem is that the courses are quite difficult to work through (albeit in a good way, but a dedicated neighbor can make it insurmountable). Even when the neighbor isn’t a threat, e.g., because they left the game or have no idea how to play, finding all the keys usually takes up most of the 15-minute time limit. Having a full team certainly helps, but players often drop out for no reason.

In summary, I really enjoy this game, but kids winning is far too rare an outcome. Surely, this is not by design. There ought to be some new mechanism to help level the playing field, such as the ability to revive a teammate or somehow escape the neighbor when getting caught alone without any teammates around to help.

Anyways, I’m totally going to keep playing this game and would recommend it to others. I just wanted to share my one complaint with devs :)

So this review is about how a lot of things are EXPENSIVE and a lot of other stuff. The neighbors cost SO MUCH COINS even for the worst one which is butcher. And the most expensive is the crow ‍⬛, witch is 15,000 coins. And almost everything is expensive of coins for the neighbors except the “shhhhh..” emote, that is 1 coin. And you should remove the emotes from the lobby because people just keep spamming them and I constantly hear “good day to you good day to you good day to you good day to you!” And “your the neighbor your the neighbor!” And it is seriously annoying . Ok, now I have a game for you . You have to find the different emoji.

I really like this game because how

lol im dead on ten inside bc i was just making a review that took 10mins then it just crossed out. good game! this is like a mafia game. when your kid or neighbor. like among us. as kid you go around the house and find key cards and use them to go though locked doors to find keys. as neighbor stop the kids from finding the keys by catching them, and probably steal key cards and keys.
umm maybe a rank system like 10+ wins you are matched up with people in that rank and 100+ same thing, your matched with people in that rank. then 200+ then 300+ then 400+ then 500+ then 1000 i know who the heck would play 1000 games and win? who knows maybe when you reached 300+ you are matched with people in the ranks higher then you? and maybe a new kid? like one that puts working cameras up that you maybe could use to find out the neighbor? what’s annoying tho is theres like no lobbys without beginners. and when you shape shift into a kid as scary neighbor your name tag doesn’t change to that persons name tag and you still talk as the kid you picked. so if you shape shifted into bagger and you chose brave you’ll have brave voice. idk if that was intended probably the one with the nametag was. and is it just me or 10% i lag out loading a match 8% i lag out in the middle of match. and the worst of the worst, 16% i lag out when usually waiting for the beginners (90% dont go to the basement door) and dont get the coins or the mission tickets. and three more things. the neighbor is trash or good or very very good. and 3% of the time your matched with good lobby then theres that mean brave who ruins the good lobby. and in the missing or wanted the beginners dont go to the basement and especially dont go to the hallway in the basement. i lol when i think it about it like this… they see the door as another wall. lol thats funny. its not as easy tho for most people then it was 4 me. eh i guess some people are slower then others. a bit laggy, a bit lacking of characters and maps and i wish another way to play. like umm a gammode that the neighbor is faster at all stuff but more keys 2 more kids. and maybe a 4th keycard. and maybe one last thing for inventor. like something you can use to push back the neighbor like (this will sound a bit stupid)

I’m this game even if I have internet it always says you need connection to the Game Center and idk what that means and nobody else knows what to do either!

Since update came, Everytime I tried to join, the game kicks me out. I don’t know if it’s the update to the game, but please fixed it and I will changed my stars to 5.

I mean it’s ok but the pics are very bad and you can talk to people from all around the world.. but you can hardly hear then and when you turn it’s very hard! So please fix it.

So I heard this is a good game but at soon I got the app it didn’t work on my iPad , I don’t know if it just mines but it would load a black green with a clock on it then it would take me back at home

You made it so that I have to use Game Center which I don’t have so I can’t even play. In this I’m just kindly asking make it so that we don’t have to use Game Center I had to delete it because of that.

I’m trying to play this game on my
IPhone and it won’t let me. It just says ‘loading’ and NEVER LOADS. Idk what this games problem is but its not working for me. Please help because this doesn’t make any sense.

I watch the previews of the game and it seems like a really fun game so I downloaded it and when I went on it play and it had a really cool music dramatic so cool andScary wouldn’t let me on The game and I was really bummed

After I updated the game and played it I realized the movements to move your point of view is so slow. And it makes me constantly drop my items and harder to run away. And the game looks like a mess now. You should’ve not added the new stuff.

I can’t even play I have sat here for 10+ minutes while it’s loading and guess what? I EVEN closed the APP and reopened it, guess what it did? You guessed it LOADING for another 10 minutes till I stopped trying please fix this issue if you want people to play your game.

This game takes up too much space for a game that I can’t play.I saw my brother playing it and it looked fun, so I decided to play it and it took up 2.6GB but I didn’t care so I played it and I couldn’t play I waited a hour and it still didn’t load, so I believed that I couldn’t play it so I Deleated the game.So Secret Neghbor please make that update.

I’m an adult but before any of the game starts it says Temp! You are too young to play the game. There’s only an option for OK, and then it just won’t load off of the screen. It sounds like it’s similar gameplay to Identity V, but I was never able to try it. I logged in with Game Center and checked to see if she was an option, but didn’t see anything.

Ok so one day (yesterday) my friend told me to download this game he said ti put it at 21 but I put it at 15 so when I joined in the lobby the graphics were like pixels idk why but that’s why I put it at 2 star I would put it at 5 start if the graphics were not bad and pixels so yea.

So I just got the game, and it so far has only shut down the entire game when I try and play, I don’t have internet issues or anything. I can see that the game looks fun, but they need to optimize this better. If there’s any chance that the devs see this, I would like to also request, if possible, a graphics slider, I would like to be able to see the game in all its glory :D

The game before the MAJOR UPDATE was AMAZING. Now, I am having a problem. My iPad meets the standards and I am of age. I am having trouble whenever I get into a game. When ever the loading bar gets to a certain part, the game freezes than crashes, kicking me off. This never did this before the update, concluding that this is a server problem. Please try to fix this because I really am a fan of this game and want to play! Thanks TinyBuild! -Killox
