Samudera Medical review: Lutronic LaseMD skin resurfacing machine

I am writing to warn you about a fraudulent online store called Samudera Medical (samuderamedical.com), registered as Afif Fithrah Yansyah under the Indonesian government. This seller scammed me out of $6,250 for a skincare laser machine in a deceitful and dishonest transaction.

I placed an order for the Lutronic LaseMD Skin Resurfacing machine, which was advertised as having free shipping. However, the business's representative, Rian, informed me that they only accept payment via bank wire transfer. After I had paid for the machine, Rian contacted me and demanded an additional $2,570 for shipping and taxes. This was never mentioned in the original advertisement and completely out of my budget. When I asked to cancel the order, they refused to do so and demanded a 30% restocking fee, which they never mentioned before. And they never got back to me since then, which has been 2 months now!

It's outrageous that this seller is allowed to get away with such deceitful practices. I reported this to the FTC and the Indonesian Embassy, but I am still waiting to get my money back. This has been a very upsetting experience, and I don't want anyone else to fall victim to this fraudulent seller.

Please be warned and stay away from Samudera Medical. Do not make the same mistake as me. Spread the word and report them if you have also been scammed.
