I recently took the SafeDriver course on safedriver.com and I have some mixed feelings about it. It cost me a total of $54 for the email copy of my certificate, which seems a little steep to me. The course itself was about 7 or 8 hours long, which I found to be WAY TOO LONG. It consisted of 10 timed pages, meaning you couldn't proceed until the timer was up, and they forced 10-15 minute breaks about twice throughout the course.

On top of that, there were too many annoying authenticity pop-ups that kept disrupting the flow of the course. And don't even get me started on the cheesy comedian videos that were reminiscent of something I would have watched in grade school.

Despite all of these annoyances, I will say that the course content was common sense and easy to pass. SafeDriver also gives you three chances if you struggle on a particular section, which is quite helpful.

Lastly, I do want to mention that there were a lot of nickel and dime offers for upgrades and shipping that I found to be unnecessary. My advice would be to just pay the $25 for the class and $29 for the email copy. Speaking of which, the email copy of my certificate was delivered to me within 30 minutes of completing the course, which was impressive.

Overall, I have mixed feelings about safedriver.com. While it was an okay experience, I don't think I will choose this site again in the future.

This is really frustrating because now, thanks to this terrible website, I have to end up paying the full ticket price in court, which is a whopping $175! The drivers ed guys at SafeDriver (safedriver.com) ain't always the most straight up dudes. They don't shoot ya straight with the dough or the process from the get-go. And then once ya complete the course (which ain't too bad btw) there's another fee to get your certificate. Regardless of the presentation and process flaws, I can't wholeheartedly recommend SafeDriver's course for its sample questions alone. So, it would be best if anyone is looking for a comprehensive driver training program, they should look elsewhere for a better experience.

Do you know how many times I had to opt out of the $39.95 email certificate delivery and so many other scammy offers? It was at least a dozen times, for real! And it wasn't just once at the beginning of the course, I had to go through about six screens just to make sure I *reallywanted my certificate delivered by USPS - even though they say the post office is terrible! Oh, and it's not like these extra options are displayed only after you've paid $25 upfront!
That being said, the course content didn't live up to my expectations either. Most of the material seemed like it's from 2013 or something - totally outdated. Next time, I will definitely take my time and shop around for a better option. There have to be better courses out there, for sure.
