On May 22nd at 10:00am at the 51st ave location I was scheduled to get 2 fillings and 1 temporary crown for a broken tooth. The dentist that did the work on me was Dr.Ann Yasso. I’m want to file against this dentist office because the manager hasn’t responded back to me or tried to reach out to me and it’s been almost a month. I’ve called numerous times and left notes with the assistant manager. To begin, I got prescribed anxiety pill because I got nervous for the shots to numb me up and I just panic so the anxiety pill helped keep me calm. I was very relaxed but my mind is still there to hear everything was going on. During the procedure the dentist kept leaving while working on my teeth and left the dental assistant to do majority of the work. The dental assistant then brought a new girl in training to come help her and the new girl kept hitting my other teeth with some device in my mouth. And the dental assistant kept correcting her. I felt like I was a guinea pig getting experimental on. I felt so uncomfortable and I couldn’t speak my words out and get upset because I was so relaxed on the pill. My little brother was there to witness everything as well. Then Dr.Ann came back in and worked on the crown next and then did a couple things to it and then left again to go treat another patient while the assistants keep working on my temporary crown. Then I felt the little needles going in behind my tooth and sticking to my gums underneath the tooth. I kept telling her I can feel it a sharp needle pain and a few tears were falling down my eyes. And I asked if she could put more numbing stuff in my gums and she wouldn’t listen to me she just kept doing work to it and talking to the new girl about other things. Then a week in a half later I had to go back to get the permanent crown and I spoke to them about the issue I had and if I can get a refund for my money because I spent 500$ which is a lot to me I’m a mother of three kids. I had the worst experience. Then the dentist just said we can’t give your money back and then handed me a 5$ Starbucks gift card which was humiliating. Then she said she would talk to the manager about the refund. I was so hurt and sad I just left it alone and let them put the permanent crown on me and it wasn’t even the same shape or color. I told them before placing the order to the lab that I want to make sure they got the shape and color correct and they said “yes we did everything correct you’re in a good hands” then tried to apologize to me about ordering the incorrect crown for me. Then put back the temporary crown and told me my permanent crown won’t be ready till another 3 weeks. So I’ve been waiting for over a month for my permanent crown. And the assistant manager said she would be put a rush on the order to the lab and she never did because I’m still waiting. It’s not just any tooth where u can’t see it’s my main tooth in front which is embarrassing I am so embarrassed to smile and laugh because you can see the temporary crown it’s uneven. I couldn’t even take 4th of July pictures with my teeth showing.

Desired outcome: Refund as soon as possible I paid 500$ out of pocket.
