Double eagle gold coin
I purchased a gold coin from governmentauction.com on july 11th 2021, I was told the coin was in great condition, rare and a great investment. Looking at the picture on the invoice, I called and asked why the invoice didn't say whether the coin was uncirculated or not. On july 16 I received the coin via fedex, I was very disappointed to say the least, not only was the coin damaged, but it had chunks missing, I immediately called and left over three messages on voicemail, no one answered so I returned the coin via ups signature required. I called on july 23rd and again spoke to ashley she said they never received the coin back, but changed her story when I told her I had proof the coin was delivered and signed for on july 21st. She called me a couple of days later and said they never received the coin, and instead received 4 quarters. Ik asked her to send pictures to which she replied they didn't have any, then she sent me photos showing a bag and four quarters. What a fraud!
