I showed up at a testing center for a battery of lab tests, but they didn't have my doctor's order available. They suggested that I call a lab test company to create the order. They provided several choices, but thankfully recommended that I call RequestATest because they work fast and were economical. I called RequestATest from the lab. Jahaira kindly walked me through the options, but my order was rather complicated. I emailed the order from my phone so she could determine the best groups of tests to order for the lowest cost. It didn't take long and Jahaira quickly gave me the order number. She electronically transmitted and faxed the order to the lab because I was waiting there. When I walked up to the lab counter, everything was set to go. Jahaira - you're a rockstar! Thank you!

I am not pleased with the turnaround time for my requested test, but I am pleased with the service that Request a Test does provide - it's a godsend truly. Their lab partner sites are in multiple locations, I used LabCorp within walking distance from my townhouse - convenient, local, multiple time slots for appointments, and they accept walk-ins. The staff was friendly, well-groomed, and sufficient at the blood draw - it was one try in and out. The lab was tidy, clean, and the process was quick. The website for the service they offer is user-friendly as well. The lab test cost is fair, reasonable, and affordable for all walks of life. I'd recommend and would probably use again if I had to. Customer service is responsive in a timely manner, which is a comfort, and you can understand what they are saying. Thank you, Request a Test.

Hiii! NOW LET ME TELL MY EXPERIENCE TODAY! I just moved here for school attending *** & I have never experienced outstanding customer service like this morning. I have a huge package to complete by May 3rd for my internship.I am behind schedule and didnt have no help here! I googled TB test And drug testing this website popped up! I'm still thanking God it did! Mr. N was soooo sooo patient with me. He help me so well and told me to take my time and just breathe lol. I just thank Mr. N. I will be getting the rest of my test done with this company plus I will tell my classmates know about how amazing Norman was! I had dumb questions and all but he didn't stutter he knew what I was trying to ask. He really really help me today tremendously! Y'all are blessed to have him on this team! Plus this my very first review I have ever wrote in my life and I'm 25 lol I just had to give credit when it's due! Just so polite and understanding! Amazing Job Mr. N!
Ron was absolutely outstanding in so many ways
Ron was absolutely outstanding in so many ways. First off, he understands the process end to end and helped explain each step, not just what would happen but when to expect things (for example, he said, "you'll be receiving two emails shortly, one with this subject and one with this other subject, check your junk mail if you don't have them in five minutes"). Second, he explained things clearly and in a way which doesn't assume that I had any knowledge of the process. This is really important--far too frequently, people who are experts in a field forget that others aren't. Ron made sure to explain without jargon or insider phrases. Third, he really is super friendly and patient--he wanted to make absolutely sure that I understand everything I needed to do, and that I didn't have any remaining questions before we ended our phone call. My initial experience in getting a test, through RequestATest wasn't great. My second experience, after talking to Ron, couldn't have been easier and better. For that, I thank RequestATest and Ron in particular!
Good idea, but poorly implemented and communicated
Good idea, but poorly implemented and communicated. I sent my Mom in for a UTI test because her own doctor could not see her for 4 days. These are the problems with Requestatest, which should be solvable: (1) Requestatest doesn't tell you how long it will take to process the test. It seems to be 3 days, but they don't tell you that up front. If you have a real problem, you want the option of paying up front to have the test processed in 24 hours. (2) They deal with multiple testing sites in the same buildings, and they don't identify the names of the sites when you're picking them. (3) Their confirmation email is sloppy. Instead of confirming that: "You bought this test from this supplier at this location", they send a generic email. The first thing the generic email tells you is that Quest will take your temperature, so it appears that they are confirming a Quest test. Their communications are so poor that we ended up at Quest when we should have been at Labcorp. Quest was not noted as the name on the purchase option, so we went to Quest. What we really wanted was fast results for a woman who was hallucinating. I would have paid $400 to get results the next day. In fact, I once had walking pneumonia, and was happy to have paid for faster processing because the sickness itself was awful.
Professional all around
Professional all around. I Went to a local clinic to get a routine blood test as ordered by a potential employer. I decided to use Request a Test as my liaison for the transaction. While at the clinic, the customer service agent Leon, listened to my questions and answered them clearly and professionally. Everything went very smoothly at the clinic for the completion of the test. It took just a day or so for me to notice that I had an email from Request a Test with my results. I opened my email and the info was easy to read and easy pass along. A few days later I called Request a Test to ask a question about labs I normally have drawn with my very good, yet very busy PCP. Often I have to wait too long for routine labs to be drawn at his office. This time I spoke to Suhaylah who was also very professional, answered all my questions and, like Leon, provided the information in a pleasant and cheerful way. Such a refreshing experience all around! I work at Staples as an employee trainer, customer service rep. and sales associate. I too try to treat customers well as I assist them. It was evident that Suhaylah and Leon had a high level of professionalism. So far, these two outstanding employees are my only point of reference for my review/consideration. In fact, Suhaylah and Leon were excellent. I am very thankful that the technician at the clinic connected me to Request a Test. I look forward to using your service again for my own personal testing needs as well as sharing the information with others. Thank you!

I barely ever write reviews--but this company deserves an excellent one! The staff is intelligent, friendly and thoughtful--and I even got two thank you cards in the mail about a week later, hand written by the two staff members that I dealt with (Ann and Dionne)! Things I didn't know before I worked with Request a Test: 1) They are a company that is able to check current pricing of lab testing companies and then let you know the cheapest way to go. I had called both LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics directly when my doctor first gave me orders--at that point LabCorp was going to be $500 more than Quest Diagnostics for what I needed. The day of my test, I called Request a Test to pay (super convenient to pay before you go in for the testing) and Ann realized that there was a much cheaper way to go. She figured it out by looking at different packages that ended up saving me $130 by going with LabCorp. This is because the pricing is constantly changing. She absolutely went above and beyond to save me money and get me the right testing I needed. Thank you Ann! 2) By using Request a Test, you do not need to wait for your doctor to give you your results. Your results are uploaded to your account on their website within just a couple of days. 3) I did not know that most of the time, you do not need a doctor's order to get bloodwork done. I always thought you did! 4) After my results were back, Dionne noticed a small mistake on LabCorp's part--there was test that I had paid for (part of a package) that I didn't really need, but that they had not done. She was able to contact LabCorp to see if they still had some of my blood leftover. They did and so they immediately did the other test and uploaded the results. Dionne's attention to detail and customer service was outstanding. Thanks Dionne! Long story short, if you want a company that generally will make your life easier and where you will deal with professional and genuine human beings that are knowledgeable and care about your health--make sure that you use this service! They also have monthly specials!
