Regal Gainesville review: Security in theater

02/03/2023 9:30PM Theater number 8 in Real, Gainesville, Florida.
My wife and I had hard projectiles 1 inch sized of some form shot at us from behind.
We were sitting in the mid-section of the theater. We suspected two 12-14 year old kids were doing this from the back of the theater.

Halfway through the movie, we stood up and I pointed in the direction of where I thought the projectiles were coming from, trying to warn whoever was doing this that we were about to report them. We walked out and after a short while we got in contact with the manager outside the theater.

We asked the Manager to stop the movie and stop this abuse. We assumed other people were targeted too. The Manager did nothing! Shortly after, the two boys we suspected came out of the theater, one hour before the movie ended, and walked towards the exit. I told the manager these boys were the ones we suspected. The Manager did nothing to stop them! When I asked the Manager why he wasn't doing anything, he told me that I should call the police and not involve him. What is the policy of Regal when people are being abused like this in a movie theater?

This was very upsetting to us. I gave the Manager my phone number and told him I wanted to be contacted so I could know what he was going to do about it. We did get a refund for our tickets but I think this is not even close to adequate compensation for this horrible experience.
