Have two car loans and was in the process of moving my home loan there. then my step daughter's car was repo, she got behind cause been out of work cause covid, After they took her car, single mom wouldn't let her get her belongings mainly car seat for her daughter. She is single mom and now charging 50 for her to get her stuff. Sorry bank I'm now in the process of moving all my loans and money. never do business there again

Redstone Federal Credit Union is not a secure place to hold your money
Redstone Federal Credit Union is not a secure place to hold your money. They have had their company identity stolen by scammers and are not doing anything to stop it. The internet has several stories of people posing as RFCU Fraud investigators calling people and then cleaning out their accounts. The call even appears to come from the RFCU 800 number. This almost happened to me, but I caught on and stopped it. It took me 24 hours, 4 phone calls, an email, an online chat session and a trip to the main office to TRY to bring this to their attention. They did nothing and were extremely rude and condescending to me. I finally ended up cancelling my debit cards and withdrawing all of my money so that it was safe. They did nothing to help me. They are a marked company by the scammers, so if you have money there, you will probably have someone call and try to rip you off. This has been going on for years and they have not addressed it, so I am moving my money to another financial institution that cares about keeping my money safe.

I have been a RFCU for years. I recently moved and reported my change of address to RFCU. when I re-ordered my checks they shipped to my old address. I called RFCU after a month of not receiving my checks. The person that I spoke with lied and said that my order was being rerouted to my new address. 2 weeks later I called again and this time I was told that my address hadn't been updated in a certain part of the system and that my checks were sent to my old address and were returned because checks couldn't be re-routed. They refused to give me a rush order because I could spend my time and my gas to go to a branch office to get a few starter checks. So 2 months into all of this I still don't have what my membership entitles me to. VERY DISAPPOINTED and apparently I'm only another paycheck to RFCU. I will take my business elsewhere.
Desired outcome: Discipline the person who lied. Put a rush on my checks or give me compensation for my troubles. GIVE ME A FORMAL APOLOGY Teach your employees to do their jobs or Discipline them

I am a buisness owner and have done buisness with Redstone in the past. I went into the bank on south memorial with cash and needed change. They refused to give me any because I didn't currently have an account there. There was no reason that they couldnt give me change as a courtesy. I will NEVER do business with Redstone as they have no desire to help anyone that doesn't have an account with them. I would definitely not recommend doing business with Redstone Federal Credit Union.

This credit union keeps locking my account, could not give me an answer as to why. They are currently not answering my calls and I CANNOT get the money out of my account to transfer to another bank because my account is frozen. I have no other money, all I want is my money out of this account, it's less than 500 dollars. PLEASE.
I have sent this to you with the hopes that you can look into the business practices of Redstone Federal Credit Union. I received a bill from them, payment due date 9/20 and that amount was paid July 27 with check # 420. I do not owe Redstone Federal Credit Union any money. I have tried to have my account corrected by phone several times and put on hold for 15 to 30 min at time. My time is worth just as much as theirs and I don't need to be treated badly. They returned my payment and tried to open a saving account in my name that I did not want then charged me late fee for the payment that they sent back to me. I close the account on June 20 an they kept sending me bills. I sent them $215.43 to close the account on July 14 that is amount they said I owed them to close the account. They kept sending bills. They sent-me a check for $91.91 then said my payment was late and charged me a late fee. Of all my accounts this has been the worst. I would like there business practices looked into and for them to stop sending me bill for I do not owe them any money.
Automobile loan was obtained through credit union. Loan was paid off on March 9. Title has not been returned. Calls to the Credit Union indicated there was a "problem with the title" and that their office was changing locations. I would like for the title to be returned or written notification of what the problem is with the title. My father co-signed for the loan and is in possession of the truck, however, no communication or notification has been sent to the co-signor.

This complaint is directly about the eBranch department of Redstone Federal Credit Union, who proceeded to waste my money and countless hours of my life. Their loan approval came in over a month ago and I was informed to provide various documents about the vehicle which I was buying from a private party. I did all they asked, which was to get two power of attorney forms notarized, mail them both, overnight one of them after being told the first wasn't good enough, search all over the place for someone to do an "inspection" on a Tesla which they do not do in the state of New Jersey. I wish I had more characters to type. I had to ask the owner of the vehicle for a 10 day payoff from his lender, his title information. I did ALL of this sufficiently, and then day 28 of the 30 days comes and they tell me to send my tax returns after a month of being told the loan was approved. I sent those, and then they declined for "temporary" income. This was a pitiful and horrific experience. Stay away

My Ohio bank sent my payment past the credit union's due date. They are charging late fees which I don't feel responsible for. I closed my credit card. They won't refund the $98 I have in the account because the late fees aren't paid.

I am unsuccessfully trying to redeem point earned from having used a Rural King Harvest card. My latest statement dated 07/23 shows that I have accumulated $271.17 in rewards. I have been trying to redeem these points only to be left on hold for up to an hour and be offered $17.82 toward my bill of $37.61. I have failed to get a reasonable explanation to this and just keep getting transferred and finally disconnected.

Sent a transfer to someone on accident on Monday 6/14. I called 6/16 and had the money transferred to the correct person and the money taken out of the first persons account and put back in mine. Today 6/17 the took money out of my account and gave it to the first person without contacting me because she called and verbally stated I owed her money. Redstone stated that they made a mistake and never should have given me that money back. However, there is no judge orders or government forms saying that money was meant and owed to her.

Bill statements arrive in mail after bill due date. Causes late charge fee for late payments. Bill statements arrive in mail after bill due date. They then charge $25.00 for late fee. Some statements never arrived at all. Called customer service to complain and was told I could pay bill over the phone for a small $15.00 fee. After refusal to pay any more fees I was told I could go online to pay my bill on their website. I applied to pay my bill on their website and my application for online banking was declined. It seems the only solution is to pay some sort of extra fee to pay the bill.

We paid off an auto loan with Redstone and received a verification letter but have received the title of the vehicle. We are getting a run around. We paid off an auto loan with Redstone and received a verification letter on June 5, showing the loan paid off, and this is July 7, we have not received a copy of the title. Their excuses range from, still waiting for the title to come back to them since they sent it to the wrong address to don't know where the title is. My wife had to get a hold of them today since they did not have her correct address on file, but lo and behold we did get the letter from them in early June, through email and US mail, so there is no excuse for not sending the title to the correct address. We had moved in May and forwarded them our new address back then, with everyone's name, we are getting mail from Redstone at the new address since May. They are just making excuses when we should have received the title at our Florida residence a month ago. There will be a law suit if Redstone doesn't get their act together. The loan is paid off and we need the title in our hands, to get Florida tags, and later to sell the vehicle if we wish. We are not getting anywhere with Redstone, we will be closing all of our accounts with them, and definitely not recommending them to anyone, because of this ignorance and fiasco with Redstone.

Redstone Federal Credit Union continue to harass me with unwanted zero balance statements and third party phone spam. I asked that they stop before! I was lured into a deal where I spent $200 at Rural King and was told I could apply for a RedStone Credit card and in exchange I would be kept informed about deals, savings, etc. Sounded great while I held up 20 other people in line at the Crystal River, Florida Rural King. Anyhow, I used the RedStone card before even having the card. Then, RedStone did all they could do to hide from me and make it a time consuming process having to spend wait times in the RedStone holding tank on hold only to be passed around from one bureaucratic lazy [censored] to the next. Many of which didn't even know if they worked for RedStone or some other crooked creditor. So, after investing good afternoon and now a holiday morning. I have long since figured out how to pay RedStone in full. The owe me for hiding and making it very tricky and confusing to pay them up. As a result, six or so months go I asked that they remove me from their mailing lists. Without any respect for my rights as a tax-paying American citizen, they continue to target me and harass me with their unwanted RedStone statements and other junk media. I know who at the will do nothing at the ComplaintsBoard.com but shuffle paper, take up space, and breath air, and collect your pay. Debit key lock is ruining my member experience. I want this fixed IMMEDIATELY! On March 20th I was with a friend after making some purchases at Walmart that went thru. I stopped at a local health food shop to buy a drink and my card got declined. Luckily my friend also has Redstone and I was able to use her card and just send her the money thru the app. By the time I was able to handle the issue of my card not working the banks had all closed and I was unable to complete any purchases until I could speak with someone at Redstone on MONDAY. I'm sorry but some of us HAVE TO WORK ON THE WEEKEND AND WE NEED THINGS LIKE GAS AND FOOD AND WE HAVE BILLS TO PAY! Apparently after my purchases at Walmart my card got locked FOR THE THIRD TIME IN A YEARS TIMEFRAME! I'm sick of this happening and I demand action! I get that they have programs that monitor card activity for suspicious transactions BUT EVERYONE JUST GOT THEIR STIMULUS AND WE ARE ALL MAKING UNUSUAL PURCHASES BECAUSE WE CAN AFFORD IT! I have been seriously inconvenienced and embarrassed by this happening and the fact that I couldn't speak with someone and get it immediately resolved just seriously BLOWS MY MIND! How are you able to make changes to my card like lock it but I can't unlock it until 2 days later? What if I was stranded? What if I owed someone money? I DESERVE TO HAVE ACCESS TO MY FUNDS AT ALL TIMES. Redstone hid options to refund charges for a stolen debit card dispute and now will not refund those charges because it's past a certain time limit. Called Redstone and they refused to refund me the remaining amount, because it had passed *** 115 day period. Their system did not allow me to select all the charges and I submitted for extra charges to cover the charges that weren't available to be selected in the dispute system and they rejected those charges. These were all charges made by someone who stole my debit card, which Redstone policies state they will refund you for. They refunded me for a total of 9 charges of $371.32. However, they did not allow me to be refunded for the remaining 10 charges of $169.41. I disclosed to them that their system did not allow me to see these charges, though I could see them on my online banking. They checked with their dispute team on an exception and said they would not make an exception. They did not check into their systems to see why the error even occurred. I tried to file the dispute with the issues numerous times online and each time could not see some of the charges. Shortly after the smaller refund went through, my wife was admitted to the hospital and after 31 awful days, we delivered and lost both of our twins. I don't say this for pity, but sometimes people go through things and by the time Redstone refunded me and I went through this and was able to get back on my feet too much time had passed supposedly for them to allow the refund, even though it was a system error on their end. I explained that I had went through this and was just now able to address their issue in the system and even after I had called about this in the past and was just directed to file the dispute through my online banking. I am extremely disappointed that they were so dismissive to this. They were not willing to look into the issue, refund my money or even consider the possibility of how often this might happen to their thousands of members. It was all simply shrugged off as it was past their date. There should be an exception for this date when it is their screw up. Very very disappointed. I can easily provide all of this documentation, bank statements, etc. Their online dispute system will not go back and allow me to see the charges past 115 days, but if it could, I could also show that the error still exists in their system.
