On the third day of January, I purchased a rental contract from Qeeq.com for a Europcar Mexico rental car. The total cost of the contract was $346.43, which I paid in full using my credit card. The rental contract clearly stated that all mandatory insurance, taxes, and surcharges were included in the contract, and the amount due at vehicle pickup was $0.

However, when I arrived to pick up the car on January 6, I was shocked to find out that Europcar was refusing to give me the car unless I paid an additional fee of $157.50 for a "Vehicle License Fee". I was taken aback by this unexpected charge, and I immediately called up Qeeq's hotline support for assistance.

Unfortunately, the Qeeq agent was unable to convince Europcar to honor the contract, and I was left with no other choice but to pay the additional fee. The Qeeq agent assured me that they would recover the additional charge later on, but I was still left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

Despite my efforts to recover the extra charge, I was unable to do so, and this made the rental contract almost 50% more expensive than what I had originally anticipated. I would caution anyone who is considering doing business with Qeeq to be aware of the potential for additional charges from Europcar Mexico, even when a prepaid contract is in place.

In conclusion, while I appreciate the convenience of using Qeeq to book my rental car, I was disappointed by the unexpected additional charge from Europcar Mexico. I hope that Qeeq will work to improve their relationship with their rental car partners to ensure that their customers are not left with unexpected charges.

I had a really bad experience with Qeeq. I booked a car rental with Avis in Clearwater, Florida and paid in full. But when I arrived, there was no car available. Avis told me that they didn't have any cars and wouldn't have any available during my rental period. I was really upset and didn't know what to do.

Qeeq told me that they would book me another car and refund me the price difference. I was relieved to hear this, but it turned out to be a false promise. The cost of car rentals during March break was really high, and I ended up paying more than double the original price for a car rental with Enterprise. Qeeq didn't refund me the price difference as promised, and it took them more than two months to refund me the initial cost of $340.

I arrived at the rental agency at 9:30PM and was shocked to see the longest line I've ever seen outside of Disneyworld. I had flown halfway across the world and had only slept for four hours in the past 48 hours and none in the past 26. I now had to spend another three hours on my feet waiting in line. After three hours, an agent finally came out to inform us that they were out of cars. I was stranded at the airport at 1AM with no way of getting to my hotel. Given the time and my physical and cognitive condition after the last two days, I had to take the first taxi out of there. The next morning, I was able to get a cheaper taxi back to the airport to pick up the car that I should have gotten the night before, but I had to completely reschedule the meetings that were the purpose of my trip in the first place. The two taxis cost me $100. To make matters worse, I didn't notice that Thrifty added a charge for insurance, despite me already having gotten it and paying for it when I made the reservation.

When I contacted Qeeq, they were polite and courteous, but completely useless. They started asking for documentation within a couple of days. They first asked to see the added insurance charge, but told me that I would need to discuss it with the rental agency when I returned the car. As it happened, I was running late and didn't have time to dispute the charge so that I wouldn't miss my flight. A week after the rental, they asked me for the receipts that I had already sent them previously, but I hadn't heard back from them until 10 days later and only after I had sent them an angry letter to see what they had done with my case. It was then that they informed me that the rental agency agreed to not charge me for the day of rental that I lost (although to this day, almost two months after the rental, I still haven't gotten that money back), but didn't say anything about the expenses that I incurred because they left me stranded at the airport at 1AM.

After more than a month that this still hasn't been resolved (Qeeq says that it tries to resolve issues within 20 days ? yeah, right!) and only after I threatened to take legal action, then they realized they needed more documentation, which apparently they didn't know about before I lost my patience with them. I sent them the new documents, but it took them nearly a week to even open them, because it was only then that they told me that one of the documents wouldn't open. I sent it back to them four days ago and still haven't heard back from them.

Ultimately, Qeeq's responsibility is only to take your money. But if any problems arise then all they will do is jack and $#*!. After all, it's your money, not theirs. If you value your money, never EVER hire Qeeq.

I have rented many cars from many agencies in my life and none have come close to the experience I had with Qeeq. They rented me a car via Dollar Car Rental from JFK airport in New York City. When I went to pick up the car, Dollar had no cars available. I was under pressure to get to my destination in time and could not wait the 3 hours the car rental agency told me I must wait.

Qeeq did not back me up about this and instead called it a 'no show' despite the fact that I did, in fact, show up and had already signed all the rental documents when Dollar told me there were no cars available.

Qeeq's customer service is awful, and despite the fact that Dollar agreed to reimburse me in full via Qeeq, Qeeq is refusing to reimburse me for the car I didn't use, instead calling it a 'no show'. I have been fighting with them for 5 months now and they are giving me every excuse in the book as to why, despite the fact that Dollar has already agreed to refund me (via Qeeq, since I paid through Qeeq) they cannot offer me a refund.

Stay away from Qeeq like the plague. Not worth your time or money to deal with them.
