i have booked a germ kill battery kit by ph call to customer care of pure it, a water purifier of Hindustan Uniliver. the customer care had given me 2 different order booking no on 2 successive days which are-S11/DPR2538/000327 no given on 28/05/2011 and on the next day the customer care have told me that the previous no is incorrect & gives me the new order booking no-RFS/434121. & both of them have committed me to give the service within 24 hours from my call. I have make sever calls before this two call to the concerned customer service cell & on each call they told me that my order have been booked, but there is no further response from there side. on the last two days of my call they have told me that no previous order have been booked. whatever after my last order booking they didn't yet respond me & didn't delivered me the germ kill battery. i am feeling quite harassed by the worst responsibility to the customer by the company. that is why i am hereby submitting the complaint. my contact no-[protected], Bhaskar Chatterjee, west bengal.

Delay in replacing battery, Extremely poor response from customer care

bokked for replacing battery on 01/06/10 and after making several complaints no one can hear about it and now my pure it cannot works, its the worst customer service i ever received in my life.

It is observed that water is not filter and We have to clean it Everyday.When I was using in Virar, there water quality was not better than Mumbai, than also cleaning was done when flow was stopped.Then there was no need cleaning kit for 10 to 15 days. Where as quality of water in Mumbai is good, then also we have ot clean kit everyday or somtimes in a day twice. I made complints to suppliers but no satisfactory answer given by them.I think quality of Battery kit not good.

1500 Ltr pure it battery quality is not as per commitment. As per commitment it should become red after drawing 1500 ltd water and it should stop drawing water from tab. i have already taken out 3000 ltr water out of it now it become red but water drawing is continue.
Note: I think now pure it is giving unfiltered water which is claimable to the company.
Request: Please change it immedietly.

Myself Dr.Himanshu Sharma with Id No.[protected] R/o G-101, Preet Vihar, Delhi-110092.

I purchased a 10 liter PURE IT on 19/04/11.At 07/0711, I ordered a germkill kit for change. Next Day a person named as Vivek with contact No.[protected] came to change the kit.He charge Rs.280 + 30 from me.Next day after installation of germkit, It starts leaking.I again speek to person who had come to change the kit, but he is unable to stop leaking.He keeps on saying me to come this day or that day, in this way he spend almost a month.Then finally, I decided to complaint about it to and do the same on 08/08/11 with complaint No.C-[protected].The person on customer care speek me to cheek this problem within two working days.Nobody came till evening 09/08/11.Finally at evening at 09/08/11, I again talk to a person at customer care.He again promised me the same with complaint No.C-[protected].One person came and try to resolve the problem, but not succeed.He asked about the bill for the changed kit.Previous person has not given me any bill against the ordered germkill kit.I replied that I have no bill as not been provided. Then He asked for 50 rupees as labour charge, I denied as my PURE IT is in warranty period & also I have not been told by customer care regarding the labour charge.He said that He can't do anything in that case, I have to show the bill.Then I asked him for the solution he said that I have to buy a fresh germkill kit, If I buy form him he can give me on lesser price than customer care.I replied why should I buy although I have bought already.He went Away without doing anything.Then I called upon for the previous person Vivek With No. [protected].I asked him for bill, But he again make fool of me saying that He will came on that day or this day.Then again On 21/08/11, I called on customer care With Complaint No. C-[protected].They narrated the same story as usual of resolving the problem in two working days.after three days, One person called me to ask about the bill.I replied that I don't have the bill.He said If u have the bill only then i can do anything.Then I again called at customer care on 04/09/11 with complaint No.C-[protected] for my problem.They narrated the same story of resolving in two Working days.Nobody came up.Then I again called at customer care on 08/09/11 With complaint No.C-[protected] & also talked to Tl Mr.Ashwin.He narrated the same story of resolving in two Working days.Nobody came up.Then I again called at customer care on 11/09/11 with complaint No.C-[protected] for my problem.They narrated the same story of resolving in two Working days.Nobody came up.

What Should I do Now?
Should I repeat the same story of calling at customer care?
Should I purchase the germkill kit form again because one person from PURE IT makes fool of me by not providing me the bill for previous kit and another is indirectly forcing me to purchase it from him as i have taken the bill of previous bill?
have i committed a very intense crime of buying the PURE IT ?
Is this should be the behavior of a renowned organisation like Hindustan lever?
Should I go to Consumer Court?

Sir,

It is to bring to your kind notice that, we have been using your pure it for the last two years. Recently the battery is exhausted, and I am trying to contact your helpline numbers, but they are not at all receiving phone. After many regular attempts in 5 days, finally one person received phone. He is telling that Batteries are not available. So I will come tomorrow or day after tomorrow. Since from 15 days like this only he is telling and Till date, no supply is made by the Pure it people of HOSPET. Regularly calling the people over the helpline number is wasting of our valuable time and money.

Now we are completely vexed with the negligent attitude of the people of your organisation. We had a very high regard for your organisation hence, went for your product. Now I am feeling very bad for my decision and forced to advise against your product for our known people on account of this reckless attitude of your people. I do not understand when you can’t supply the battery, why you’re marketing such products?

I hope at least now onwards you will take proper care regarding this.

we are having this water purifier at our working place, due to some reason the bottom piece broke down on 20th feb 2010, on that day we called customer care about this. after that daily I am calling and inquiring, they assure that with in no time it will be delivered. I think I called them more than ten times, no result. today the date is 11th mar 2010. this is not the first time I am facing this problem always the same thing. Pure it customer care is worst service

I have been using pure it for past couple of years now. and till now have not faced problems as i didnt had to contact pure it customer support.
Incidentally i had placed a request for the battery change recently and their engineer or whatever he was came down after couple of days and after few renewed schedules and he changed the batter. He said its new kind of battery and better than the older version. I paid him the money and after following his instructions to the letter my Pure It is as good as the tap water. I lodged a complaint through customer service and i was told someone would come and visit me. But no one did, and neither even called this time. After few days again i registered another complaint, i was assured this time someone would call and than come, no one did. I again made the complaint, and again the same result, and again. I even asked to talk to the supervisor, and someone named Kamal came on the call. But no use, Kindly advise whether i should throw this pure it in the dustbin and lodge a former complaint. and definitely you should be looking forward to removing your customer support as they are more of a sales team than a support team.
Its really disappointing to see such pathetic response from one of the front running brands.
their customer support definitely is the worst rated and would dilute their brand value to "0" in no time.

i have booked a germ kill battery kit by ph call to customer care of pure it, a water purifier of Hindustan Uniliver.
the customer care had given me delivery receipt no on 2 successive days which are 1734374 on 23-05-2012

we are using the Pure it since May 2009. Now we are facing some problem in PureIt battery kit. I ordered a new battery kit with mesh worth Rs. 680/-. On may 23th and next day receive the spare is properly worked in three days, after I am facing problem and recorded to your customer care dial. These problems all are within 15 days (we are not registered early, but facing problem on 27th may onwards).
1) Water is not filtered recorded on 07-06-2012 (already take the action by pureit)
2) Water is over leakages recorded on 11-06-2012 (already take the action by pureit)
3) Battery kit is red mark is full recorded on 13-06-2012 (Not taken the action by pureit)

Because of this water leakage is happening. We tried calling up the Pure It helpline number but nobody turned back to receive our call / complaint.
i called the employer of the pure it service he told that he will refer us in 24 hours but he is not. 5 to 10 times i called him again and again neither he is picking up my call and no response for my 3rd complain

I think we received the battery kit is failed and it’s not genuine spare. Please change the batter kit for free of cost.

whatever after my last complain booking they didn't yet respond me & didn't delivered me the germ kill battery. i am feeling quite harassed by the worst responsibility to the customer by the company. that is why i am hereby submitting the complaint.

i too have very bad experience with pure-it after sale and service, if you are thinking to get a new water purifier, my suggestion is donot choose pure-it .

I have ordered to change germs killer battery on 5-7-2011 and subsequently two times more but no response given by the company. Its service is worst.. most worst.. bekar..

We have faced the similar problem with our battery kit, I purchased 2 battery kit in the month of May 10 for Rs. 500 each & they both were Red in Sept. 10. i.e. only in 4 mths.

It seems as if these people are making money this way, after charging a so called nominal amount for Pure it.

These people should work on such complaints as negative mouth publicity will cost them more than their Rs. 1 crore challenge.

I purchased Pure it water purifier 2.5 months ago. At this time my pure it showing red indicator how to this is possible because in my family we are only Two member i call in call center then a engineer visit my home for pure it he say to me i have to change battery why i change the battery because it not covered their grace period pl help me for this matter.

Pure-it – Battery Replacement

I purchased Pure it water purifier 12 months ago. When I was ordered to purchase it, they sent it within one day. We were really surprised to have a service provided by them.

But after 4 months, when its battery needs to replace, I called 5 times continuously for five days on its given helpline no. for Gujarat that is – [protected]. Their always response was to send it within 2 or 3 days. But they didn’t deliver till now. Then what should i do now? & i don't have any pure it district custamer care agent helpline number so My customer id no and address is under
