Premier America Credit Union Lack of empathy during covid

Lack of empathy during covid. Horrible customer service. Don't ever do business with this bank.

Premier America Credit Union is the worst! They don't care about people during these tough times. Their customer service is just plain awful. I would strongly advise against doing any business with them.

Someone came into the bank with false documents pretending to be me and robbed me of my savings. I filed a police report and cooperated with Premier America's investigation, but I still haven't gotten my money back. It's really messed up my mental health. This isn't the first time I've had issues because of this company's carelessness. But I can tell you, it's definitely the last. Don't trust Premier America with your money.

When I tried to contact them, I got hung up on 14 times in a row before finally getting a hold of someone who would talk to me (the person who finally answered and didn't just hang up, was great, but seriously, who hangs up on people?). I would call, go through the prompts, listen to hold music, then it would go quiet like someone was gonna answer, but nope, they just hung up on me. Customer service is terrible and the phone call monitoring they talk about should really check which workers are taking calls and then hanging up without talking. It's just ridiculous!

Every time I try to pay off my debt, Premier America Credit Union increases the amount I owe. It's frustrating because I can't fully pay off my account and close it if they keep raising the balance. When I ask for clarification, they give me vague answers and avoid addressing the issue directly. Additionally, they frequently lock my account information, preventing me from logging in and checking the remaining balance. It's difficult to stay on top of my payments when I can't even access my account details.

I was lookin' around for credit for an auto loan, and I stumbled upon Premier America Credit Union. I used their pre approval application process that's s'posed to not affect your credit, and I submitted it. Now I got a hard inquiry on my account, and it's been real tough to get rid of. I've tried reachin' out to the business, but no luck. My inquiry date is Dec. 19th, 2021.

I've been tryin' to get a document from this company for like 15 times now, but they still ain't sent it to me. Every time I ask, they keep sayin' it'll be sent in 'bout 2 weeks, but it's been almost a whole year now. They never bother to reach out to me with an update; I gotta keep callin' 'em and goin' through the same ol' thing every time. The document I need is a total payoff letter, which I gotta have to get a refund for a $*** auto warranty. I really need that money, but they just keep dodgin' me. All I want is for 'em to send me the right document, but the ones they did send were all messed up and incomplete.

Premier America Credit Union This all started with a transaction that went through on my account, even though I specifically said no to overdraft

This all started with a transaction that went through on my account, even though I specifically said no to overdraft. They still went ahead and did it, and of course, charged me $29 for it. I had opted out of any kind of overdraft protection, so this transaction should have been declined. I've tried reaching out to them three times through messages and left two phone messages because they don't answer live support. I'm at my wit's end, not so much because of the money, but because my own bank allowed fraudulent use of my account. They're supposed to protect me from fraud, but it seems like they either changed my opt-in form or decided to ignore the law and pay the charge just so they could try to charge me a fee. They even advertise free overdraft, which is another lie. I used to think this was a good bank, but not anymore.

Premier America Credit Union I'm changing banks and need to close my old account

I'm changing banks and need to close my old account. I've been trying for 4 days to stop automatic payments with Premier America, but no luck. Can't do it online like other banks. Tried many times. They want me to go to a branch 6hrs away. Finally got a DocuSign to switch banks, but they want a void check which I don't have. I don't use checks, only online. Shouldn't be so hard to switch auto payments! Called multiple times, just going in circles. Want my payment to stop going to old account. Is that too much to ask?

Premier America Credit Union There was some fishy stuff happening with my debit card, so I gave card services a ring on 12/29

There was some fishy stuff happening with my debit card, so I gave card services a ring on 12/29. Luckily, I didn't have enough dough in my account to cover the charges, so they denied most of 'em, except for one sneaky charge. They assured me it wouldn't go through since I reported it as fraud. But guess what? Two days later, I saw that the charge went through and they even slapped me with an NSF charge on top of that. So, I called 'em up again and talked to card services. They tried reaching out to the bank, but those guys didn't pick up, so I had to take matters into my own hands and call 'em directly. During that call, I reported the fraud again and they reversed the NSF charge. They said they'd refund the sneaky charge within 5 days. But here's the kicker, I still haven't gotten my money back for that bogus charge. And now they're telling me I never reported it in the first place. I've attached all the messages I exchanged with 'em, and it's just plain confusing. Instead of fixing this mess, they keep telling me to contact someone else. I've reached out to everyone involved multiple times, but they just won't sort it out.

On 5/12/2022, I called Premier America Credit Union for help with a 401K check from ADP, my old boss. The check is missing the last letter of my first name. I called twice, wasted over half an hour, and got no solution. The first time I called, the person on the phone made me go through 6 levels of checking before I could even ask a question. After checking, the call got cut and I got hung up on. The second time I called, the guy who answered kept interrupting me and talking over me. He said I should try depositing the check at a local credit union branch, but he wasn't sure if it would get rejected. When I asked if I should choose a local bank, he finally asked for more details about my problem. But since I don't have a local Premier America Branch anymore, I can't go in person to fix my problem. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes, the call got disconnected. I still don't know how to fix my problem.

On 1/5, I sent a email through Premier's online banking site to remove a service. They never did it. The message I sent was: From: *** Subject: PAYMENT PROTECTION FEE - Credit Card Please remove this service fee from my account. I don't need it. It's for the credit card. My member number is 31*** They didn't do anything. They never called or reached out to me. They say they sent messages to me through their website email to confirm. Confirm what? I thought my message was clear. This is what they said: To: *** Subject: Premier America Credit Union Inquiry ID # LTKXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Dear ***, Thank you for contacting us. This email is about your Premier America Credit Union Inquiry ID # LTKXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. You want us to reimburse the fee... do you also want to remove the voluntary loan protection on your standard mastercard? If you need more help, just reply to this email. You can also call us at (XXX) XXX-XXXX, option 0. Thank you Two years later, I'm still paying for this. When I called customer service, they didn't help. I talked to a manager and she told me to send the request again. The credit union has no problem contacting me when my credit card goes over the limit. They actually make an effort to reach you. But when it comes to removing a service and they mess up, they blame me for not responding to their internal site emails. I think they owe me for all the fees they took after I asked them to remove them.

Premier America Credit Union I bought my first car in September and used this bank for my car loan

I bought my first car in September and used this bank for my car loan. I moved to CO in August and managed to pay off my car loan in May . Even though I registered my car in CO in October , I moved multiple times for my graduate program. I changed my address right before paying off my loans, and when I talked to a customer service rep in May , they said I would get my title at my current address in the next month or two. I waited patiently for 3 months. When I called customer service at XXX-XXX-XXXX, it took many tries and long waits, but I was eventually told that my title was sent to a DMV in CA for some unknown reason. I contacted the DMV, but they didn't have any record of my title. When I called the bank again, they changed their story and said it was sent to a DMV in CO. But when I called the DMV in CO, they didn't have my title either. I made at least 50 calls and only spoke to a rep twice, who were nice but not helpful at all. Finally, I went to the bank in person and a kind employee told me to go to the Sacramento DMV in CA to get a duplicate title. That's why my title wasn't at the other two DMVs I contacted before. Unfortunately, because I've been living in CO for the past 3 years, I have to spend my time and money trying to eventually get the title for my own car that I worked so hard to pay off. This has caused a lot of emotional distress and wasted a significant amount of time trying to contact this company and figure out where my title went.

The credit union closed my account without my permission for no reason and kept a $2,000 check that I couldn't withdraw for an emergency. I can't believe they have an "A" rating, it must be a mistake. I opened an account through my employer, Universal Studios. They sent an employee to open new accounts at the office. I had the account for a few months and something happened that made my balance negative by $80. I called them because I couldn't use my debit card to withdraw money from my savings account. They said the account was overdrawn for 7 days and I needed to bring it to a positive balance to remove the block from my card. I went to do a shared branching transaction for the funds, but the teller said "the system won't allow it." I was furious! I needed the money from my savings, but the system wouldn't let me because my checking account wasn't positive. I used to work for a credit union and I know their policies are similar no matter which one you belong to. So I called the branch manager and told her I would close the account once it reached a zero balance if they didn't remove the block from my card. She said she couldn't do anything because of the system. I asked to speak with a manager. A few weeks later, I deposited cash to clear the balance and reactivate the account. But when I checked the balance, the cash was on hold! I called the credit union and spoke to a guy named Fernando. He said the money was on hold because the account was scheduled to close. I asked why and he said there were notes saying I wanted to close it. I told him I did say it, but it was my decision. The account wasn't closed and they had no reason to close it without my permission! I asked him to release the hold so I could withdraw the funds minus the overdrawn amount, but he said he couldn't. That wasn't true! I know you can reverse same-day transactions. He didn't honor my request and I was furious! It was my money and he wouldn't give it to me! He said he would mail the check to me, but I was going to another state so I never got it. I called the Vice President and emailed the CEO and VP of the credit union, but they never responded! Premier CU has terrible customer service, they shouldn't be in business! They have a bad rating on Yelp and I don't understand how they have an "A" rating here when everyone complains! Even their oldest members are withdrawing their money, we're all upset. They need better employees and fix this mess. I've never seen such ridiculous employees in my life! The CEO should pay more attention to the issues before it gets worse! Their policies, rules, and conduct are terrible. They should never close an account for a negative balance before 30 days, and they shouldn't close accounts for no reason. And it doesn't matter if it's a new account or not, they shouldn't place a hold on a cash transaction! Cash doesn't need a hold!
