I saw their ad saying all updates are done, but when I got my engine, I checked the *** or *** for the updated part number. But, when I unpacked the engine, I found the *** damaged at the oil pressure switch boss. Also, the *** was NOT the updated part as advertised. This happened just 20 minutes after receiving the engine. I called them immediately, but they said it has to go to the warranty claim department first. I sent pictures of the damage, and 3 days later, I got a new *** that I had to install and torque.

After I got the engine squared away and put it on an engine stand, I realized there was no low oil level sensor boss in the pan like my original engine. I had not noticed this before as the plastic was still wrapping the engine when dealing with the damaged ***. I realized the quickest recovery was to install my pan, so I removed it from my old engine and cleaned it thoroughly. I then requested a replacement gasket as this gasket gets riveted to the pan. I also requested a disclaimer freeing me from liability for having to work on their engine for them without costing me my warranty. But, I got no response.

I purchased a rebuilt engine with front and rear cover and oil pan installed, meaning I paid to have that done. But, there was no offer for compensation of my time, and no response about the gasket. I didn't want to do the extra work because of time constraints. I want my money back so I can purchase an engine I can use with all PROPER updates done. Now, I sit here with no engine for my truck and no responses from them, and it's a HUGE investment. Instead of happily driving my truck again, I have to go to court to get my money back for an unusable engine that DID NOT come as advertised. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Zero stars, but they force you to choose a star level. No stars actually given.

This was by far the best choice in repairing my truck. Customer service is outstanding. I ordered the engine 2 pm on Thursday and it arrived 10 am the next day. Warranty and shipping couldn't be easier. Would recommend this company to anyone.

I love how quick they got back to me about what the hold up was on the motor. They have a great customer service and they are very prompt and answer all questions i had. I will use them again if i ever need to and i have gave there number to some people that needed motors. I am very happy and satisfied what their services.

The Team @ Powersource were great to work with. The engine was delivered timely and they were very patient with my questions. Super glad I found them, Did not have the same experience with another supplier. Will use them in the future if I need another engine! Just got my 4.0 Jeep Grand Cherokee engine..Josh was my representative for this transaction, and I couldn't have been treated better. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and had a great personality. I havnt installed the engine yet, but I know that if I have any problems, or questions, I can feel at ease knowing I can call any of the personnel there to help me out. I will buy from there again if I need an engine, and wish those guys the best.

PowerSource has been a wonderful help to my family and I. We looked for am engine for our 08 Tahoe and at the first purchased a used one... Big mistake! Called PowerSource and they had exactly what we needed with warranty, new/rebuilt engine and engine accessories to top it off. I'm totally confident in their line of business and recommend them to anyone whose looking to rebuild or replace the problematic engine they're currently dealing with. Delivery service is awesome as well. Two thumbs up!

I purchased from Power Source in November and wanted to wait a while before reviewing. Their business is very professional, service and communication were spot on and to my surprise, the engine shipped the same day! I installed the newly remanufactured engine ( took 2.5 days to complete it all ) and as of this writing (04/03) the engine is performing flawlessly. I purchased the extra no-fault coverage on the engine because of the horror stories I read about with remanufactured engines. My engine looked like it came fresh out of the factory and runs like a champ - I have zero complaints and would purchase from Power Source again. I'm not a professional mechanic, however, I do have a fair amount of mechanical ability.

This place called Power Source, they say they give you a warranty for 3 years or 100000 miles for parts and labor. But let me tell you, it ain't no real warranty. They charge $150 an hour for the engine and only give $50 an hour for labor. That's not fair at all. And the engine they sold me was a total piece of junk. I had to pay around $2000 to get it installed, and now I gotta pay another $[protected] to get it swapped out by a mechanic. It's a real bummer.

I'm really upset with Power Source. They won't warranty their product and it's been two weeks and the TEC department still hasn't contacted me. Bolts are breaking off in the intake and now I need a new head, but they won't let a machine shop fix it or it voids the warranty. This is a scam. They tried to say it was the bolts, so I bought new ones and it broke off too. Two mechanics looked at it and said the threads are not right. I still haven't received my warranty papers. I'm not the first person this has happened to. I had to pay $500 for a new head plus labor and new bolts for the head. The bolts won't even screw in by hand. I've been waiting for hours today for someone to contact me for my warranty. Last week, I left six messages and nobody called me. This week, it's the same thing and I have no vehicle to provide for my family. As a single dad of four kids, they said I shouldn't be mad. I can't even describe how angry I am about this.

I orderd a long block engine for my 1994 Ford F 150 truck, part #LXXXXXTBR on April 7th. I did it online and got a conformation email. It had an invoice #XXXXX, a PRO #XXXXXXXXX. I haven't got any email with shipping info or tracking number. I made lots of phone calls, but they always give me an excuse for the delay. First time they said they didn't have any core to rebuild. Second time it was because they were waiting on parts. Now the guy who answers the phone says the engine has been shipped. But I still don't have an email telling me it was shipped. The guy on the phone can't tell me when or where it was shipped to. I talked to him 2 days ago and he promised me he would find out where my engine was and tracking information. I tried calling again today, but no one answers. Why does the same person answer when I call XXX-XXX-XXXX but can't tell me anything? Who else do I need to talk to? All I want is the engine that I ordered.

I bought an engine from Power Source and it blew up in only 3 days with less than 300 miles on it. They want me to pay for the installation of the new engine they owe me. I bought a new engine from Power Source and had a mechanic install it. Within 3 days and less than 300 miles, the engine blew up. I called Power Source and they blamed the mechanic on the phone. They wanted to use my aftermarket warranty to replace the faulty engine they sold me. They also want me to pay for half of the installation because they refuse to replace the engine that blew up. Power Source told me to shut up on the phone when I refused to use my new warranty. They have a history of screwing people over with engines and warranties. Power Source needs to send a new engine and pay for the full cost of installation without using my warranty. I am a disabled US Army veteran with no income and cannot afford to pay for their mistakes. I will call a lawyer and sue them for costs, legal fees, and emotional damages for keeping me from going home to Rhode Island where my daughter with Down Syndrome is waiting for me. They were rude and tried to screw me over with a warranty.

I bought a motor from Power Source on June 6th and it was supposed to arrive in 6-8 weeks. It took 9 weeks, but that's okay. The first engine my mechanic put in was messed up. The cam phaser wasn't bolted down all the way and it messed up the timing. I contacted Power Source to get a warranty claim opened, but they didn't get back to me. I called the warranty company and they said Power Source never opened a claim. The warranty company wanted my mechanic to try to fix it, but it was a remanufactured engine and I shouldn't have to put more parts into it. They sent a new motor, but there were issues with the warranty payment. They only cover $50 an hour and I had to pay extra for labor and taxes. On Dec. 24th, 2021 the engine developed a lifter tick and barely drove. I took it to a certified Ford dealership and it broke down outside another dealership. I'm waiting for a diagnosis, but it sounded like parts were slapping and bouncing around in the engine.
