Firstly; this is a review of this app NOT the art and writing. All the Stories I’ve read so far have been a DELIGHT and I’m hooked into them.

The good: there’s so many stories I’ve lost myself Into, the selection is truly great. The app runs quickly and doesn’t lag so scrolling while reading doesn’t stop the flow. There’s no ads over the artwork, they are all before reading or at the very bottom after the chapter is done. We get a free ticket every day and if we read new titles we get another, which is a great mechanic to get readers to read new stories and stay longer. (Genuinely like this element)

The Bad: there’s some things that are kinda awful design wise. First, chapters for every story arent priced the same. Which I’m sure is for a good reason but it makes it annoying when you have only a few coins left you can’t use for any chapter unlock cause it’s too little. Second, you only can watch one add a day per book your reading. So if you’re reading 6 stories you only can advance one chapter in each, instead of 6 in your favorite. The recharge time for ads being 24 hours seems like a weird choice too. I would HAPPILY watch 20 ads to unlock 20 chapters if it meant I could keep reading my favorites instead of watching three ads and then closing the ap for the rest of the day. It’s an annoying mechanic and I feel like it’s loosing the company add revenue they could be getting otherwise. Third, and this may be cause I’m newer to the ap, it’s VERY unclear what purchased chapter you get to keep unlocked forever and what ones go away until you unlock them. The chapters you unlock with an add make sense to have a time limit cause then people watch more ads, but the coins should permanently unlock a chapter. Or at least unlock one for double or triple the time an ad does. Otherwise what’s the point in buying them? And if the coins do permanently unlock chapters is so beyond unclear. Fourth, and this is my biggest complaint, the “free coins” aren’t actually free. Every single offer I have had appear all requires a purchase off app. Everything about That sits wrong with me. Why do I need to spend $20 on skincare I have no interest in to read a book? Why not have actual free adds we can watch to earn coins? There’s no way the app isn’t loosing money from this method.

If we had a better way to earn tickets or coins I would award this app 5 stars, but with the long waits in reading (especially cause you never really permanently unlock everything so it’s impossible to reread the previous chapters and remember where you were) I just can’t bring myself to do so.

Hello Im contacting you in regards to my purchase history. I have bought coins multiple times for this app and it has recently erased my history of comics I subscribed to and the amount of coins I purchased, and episodes I have purchased with those resulting coins. I have the history in my google of 550 coins I would like reimbursed. I would like the total numer of coins reimbursed so I can continue reading the comics I have already paid for. I have attached picture evidence to expedite the process, it is payment history from my google play account.

It claims most stories are free other than “select paid stories” but every single one I’ve looked at requires payment and/or for you to wait 24 hours between every chapter. I’m a binge reader, I can’t read a comic over the course of 6 months, that’s crap. I’m usually willing to shell out $10 to finish a full story on these types of apps, but on this app it costs close to $40/story depending on the length. It’s the worst. You should be able to buy full comics at a discount or something. I got roped into one comic I’m going to pay to finish, after than I’m done with this app.

The stories are good I came here from manta and webtoon, but the amount of money to spend for on each ep. Is ridiculous.
( so far 5 coins for each ep. When you have to start paying it, 10 coin = 0.99 USD )

At least Manta comics you could spend about 4$ monthly and read every episode as much you want. Pocket comic don’t give that option because this makes more money.

I’m searching for other better apps. Manta is good but not as much good stories as pocket comics.

Whilst yeah the comics are good the entire app is confusing. So it gives you the common story they advertise of the girl that’s single after dating her bc for 11 years after that you can choose any story you’d like, but the chapters are really really REALLY short. On top of that, the chapters don’t have a lot of content, I just waited for a chapter to open up where the girl is repeatedly asking the guy if he’s the person they were when they were kids and the other dude takes her outside for air and that’s the end. Like BRUH YOU LITERALLY JUST KEPT ASKING CIRCULAR QUESTIONS— don’t waste your time on this app. There’s better ones out there.

STOP WITH THIS PLEASE! Ok so the comics on this app are really good, but if your a binge read like me then Don’t get this app and walk away, literally to watch the next episode after your done with the free ones you have to pay coins which cost money, but they have this thing called a ticket which u can only use ONCE A DAY! FR THO I’m DYING HERE WAITING 24 HOURS TO WATCH ONE SHORT CHAPTER BRUHH! if your reading this and u wanna get this, don’t instead go watch webtoons, they have A BUNCH OF COMICS AND HAVE A TON OF FREE ONES! trust me get webtoon! Cause this is ridiculous waiting 24 hours to watch one CHAPTER! but the comics are pretty good not gonna lie but at least make us wait like 2 hours! NOT A WHOLE DAY!
