PML Real Estate Group is a terrible company to rent from. They never answer calls or emails, and they don't do any maintenance. My floors are caving in, and there's a hole in the middle of my kitchen floor. My niece's foot went through the floor because of a leaking faucet. It's a nightmare living here.

I rented a house from PML Real Estate Group for 6 years and 2 months. From the beginning, there were problems. The previous owner left his car in the garage, but they moved it so we could use it. The carpets were dirty, and they promised to clean them, but they never did. The garage door stopped working, and they said they would fix it, but they didn't. The sink leaked and ruined the cabinet underneath, and they promised to fix it, but they didn't. When it rained, the hot water heater stopped working, and they promised to fix it, but they didn't. The second bathroom had temperature problems, and it took two years and my own money to fix it. The master bathroom had a leak, and their handyman couldn't fix it. They finally called a plumber, but it took them from September to June 15th to try to fix it. The shower never worked again and got worse each time they sent their handyman. The shower leaked into the dining room, causing damage to the ceiling and carpet. When we moved out, they blamed me for the problems and want to keep my deposit to fix them. I have saved all our communication, including the calls they never returned. Don't rent from PML Real Estate Group in the EAST END.

I saw a rental property listing and was told to apply before seeing it, which seemed weird but I went along with it. I didn't hear back and left messages twice, but no response. I also contacted them through email, but still no response. Eventually, I got a call saying the owner rented it out themselves. That's fine, but they're still taking application fees for a property that's not available. When I asked for a refund, they said they could use it for another rental. I paid without seeing the property, but is that even legal? Would I get my money back if I didn't like it? It seems unethical to charge for a house that's not even for rent. I want my fee back.

I got breathing problems and I picked this group to rent from cuz they don't allow smoking in the lease. But when I told them about my problem 4 times, they didn't care at all. They wouldn't even talk to me about it. My downstairs neighbors smoke a lot every day and it comes up to my place and makes it hard for me to breathe and stay healthy. I wake up with a sore throat, can't breathe through my nose, and have to deal with loud music all the time. Plus, all my stuff smells like smoke now and I gotta throw it all away. Even my fancy clothes got messed up and I gotta get them dry-cleaned. I'm moving out cuz of this.

I just switched property managers for my rental property from *** properties to Property Management of Louisville without any notice. Apparently, this change happened in April 2022 and now my property is managed by PML Real Estate Group. I received a notice on Saturday, June 11, 2022, stating that I owe $1500 in past due rent and I need to pay it online within 7 business days. The final pay date is June 18, 2022. I tried calling them 22 times today but was on hold for over 3 hours and never talked to a human. I left 19 voicemails on June 14, 2022, and 3 voicemails on June 13, 2022, but didn't receive any call back. I went to their office on *** to correct the balance due, but the lady there was very rude and told me to call the finance department at # *** ext. 3. I was already on hold with the finance department for 45 minutes on June 14, 2022, when I talked to her. The letter stated that I owe $1500, which is not correct. They calculated it as $725.00/mo X2 plus late fee. They are threatening eviction but not returning my calls, and the address given on the statement is not a public place to help with these discrepancies. The only way to resolve this issue is to call the ***, which has an endless wait time for calling and no automated service. I have also been trying to contact my previous property manager, Bennett Helms, for over a year to fix the bathroom and kitchen, which have gone soft and dangerous due to multiple water leaks causing the floor to rot and suspected mold under the floor. The front door also does not lock properly. I have documented all these issues and requested them to be repaired, but nothing has been done. Even after a year, the floor is worse, and I am scared to walk on it in fear that it will just fall through.

This place is terrible for maintenance and property management. They lose all your documents and don't communicate with each other. The dry rot and smoke are also a problem. We had an issue with the flooring in the laundry room and dry rot around the heating unit. We emailed, called, messaged, and sent pictures, but it took 5 months and an attorney to get them to fix it. The apartment was not move-in ready, with human feces around the toilet and duct tape holding up the sink piping. Another tenant had bed bugs that infested our unit, and the property manager didn't take responsibility. The carpets are old and the flooring sinks in. I don't think these people are licensed to practice. They argue with you and tell you they can do what they want. There's no on-site property manager or maintenance. Don't go here. The leases aren't even for a full year. Keep all communication with them.
