I recently took my golf cart to Performance Golf Carts for some repairs. They initially quoted me a price of $549.00 for the service. However, when they delivered the golf cart back to me, they suddenly informed me that the bill was actually $668.05. I was quite surprised and told them that this was not the price they had given me earlier. The driver called the office and they insisted that the higher price was correct, leaving me with no choice but to pay it.

To make matters worse, I noticed that the bill also included a diagnostic charge of $59.95, which I find to be excessively high when added to the other charges. I wouldn't have minded paying the original quote of $549.00, but when I specifically asked the service manager if that would be the total price, he assured me that it would be. It's disheartening to feel like I've been lied to in this situation, and it raises concerns about the integrity of their business practices.

I bought a golf cart from Performance Golf Carts for $7100, expecting it to be in good condition. However, I was disappointed with the service I received. The cart was supposed to undergo PDI and detailing before delivery, but it arrived with the rear shocks disconnected and damaged. I had already pointed out this issue during the purchase, but the company claimed that the shocks were unnecessary with the leaf spring lift. They even went ahead and removed them! Additionally, the batteries were hanging out from under the cart, and all the cables were severely corroded and damaged. The detailing was also subpar.

To make matters worse, the cart was sold with a lift that was not meant for it and was installed incorrectly. I had to visit the shop multiple times, and each time the cart was kept for weeks. The service department was terrible, and the cart always came back with a problem, sometimes even the same one. What's more, the cart was sold and delivered without any cotter pins, which is a huge safety issue. The final straw was when the heim joint completely broke and fell out, causing the entire tire to come off. This could have ended very badly, especially considering the cart had just been to the shop for steering repairs. It's completely unacceptable.
