I have bought a package of sails from the company called Peak Sails. They promised me 3-4 weeks delivery. After a month and a half still no products received. I sent them email asking for delivery status and they answered me another week later that I have to wait another 2 weeks… Unbelievable!

I ordered a new main sail from them in November 2021. The sail was shipped to me in 6 weeks. When I received it there were no battens with the order plus the sail was not made to the order I placed. I received an email stating that the battens were coiled in the box, I checked and no battens. Have left messages (both phone and email) about these issues . No return messages. Peak sails is very bad in there communications with their customers. I will not consider them for any future sail orders.

Charged my card and then wouldn’t keep me updated on order. Multiple phone calls and emails went unanswered and I got nervous I got scammed. Canceled the charge on my card and got a refund notice shortly after although my card still hasn’t been credited but I believe it will be. Summer Wang responded to my refund saying good luck finding the sail I want at the price I want in the time i want. Which I did. I have dealt with several lofts, this was miles below what I was use to dealing with. I would steer clear

I ordered a Hunter 22 Genoa from Peak Sails of North America on February 6, 2017 and it arrived on April 5, 2017. I had heard of some recent complaints about this company, so 15 days after they received my final payment, I questioned the company about my order status and commented that the Florida sailing community would be watching this order process. This was a golden opportunity for the company to assuage any bad publicity and to show real customer service. Instead, the CFO of the company accused me of "extortion" by telling her that the sailing community was watching, and then had their corporate counsel (or someone posing as one) contact me with insults and threats of reprisal. He even requested that I take my future business elsewhere! The fact that a question about the status of an order (that has been fully paid for) is met with a response like this is hard to believe. I guess this is what passes for great customer relations at Peak Sails. Even if the sail is of good quality, no one should have to experience this kind of treatment when ordering a sail. When Peak Sails responds to this review, as they have with past reviews, the corporate counsel will no doubt attempt to debunk this review by spewing some more vitriol. I am certainly heeding the corporate counsel's advice and taking any future business to the competition. If you don't want to subject yourself to this type of treatment, I'd suggest that you follow his advice as well.
