Parawest Management is a company that I recently had an experience with. I must say, I was not impressed. First of all, the bathtub in my apartment was piling up with dirt and grime. It was disgusting! Secondly, the gate to the complex has been wide open for months. This is a huge security concern! And finally, when I reported these issues to Parawest, it took them weeks to fix them. I mean, come on! They claim to provide timely maintenance, but that was definitely not the case here. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with Parawest Management and their lack of attention to these important matters.

I've been living in *** for 10 years, and things have been getting worse here. They used to be amazing. I've been trying to get my garbage disposal fixed for a month now. I left four requests, and I even asked for the carpet cleaner to come. I signed the form, but my garbage disposal still hasn't been fixed. It's leaving a stench in my apartment. I've called several times, but nothing has been done. I'll stay until my contract is done, but I won't be renewing. You guys have gone so bad. Get your stuff together.

I gave a deposit when I moved into the apartment on February 1. However, the water bill should have been deducted, which is only around $45 per month. I lived in the apartment for seven months, but I moved out in July to go to ***. During my time there, I always paid my rent, water, and electricity on time. However, I never received a final statement along with my $39 refund check. I believe I should be refunded the correct amount since I didn't actually live in the apartment for seven months. I only went back in November to pack my belongings, in December to store my things, and the week before moving out to clean the apartment. It wasn't even dirty, as I wiped down everything. I think I should be refunded at least $200. I'm really disappointed with this company.

The main AC unit has been broken since I moved in here two and a half years ago. My wife and I sweat at night and can't sleep because of the heat. They told us about two months ago that they were working on it, but I haven't seen anyone outside actually doing any work. This is a health violation and I'm requesting that it be fixed immediately. They did buy window units for each apartment and said they were fixing the AC about a month ago, but it was never fixed and there was no memo released about it. The manager is never here and always has someone else covering for her so she can go to the other apartments and hang out with the manager over there instead of taking care of the tenants' concerns in Old South, which she manages. It's 88 degrees in my apartment and getting hotter.

Your employees at Parawest Management in *** never answer the phone and/or lock the doors during regular business hours and refuse to let people in to turn in applications, ask questions, etc. The business hours you have listed might as well say "here sometimes, gone or ignoring people most of the time. Good luck." Both me and my husband have visited numerous times during regular business hours and were only able to get in touch with someone once. I am just so frustrated that we are prospective tenants being treated this way, when all we want is information and the opportunity to submit an application to be on the waitlist (which apparently you cannot do online). My frustration has been aggravated by the fact that we live an hour away from *** and your staff has wasted our time by not doing their job or even being there.
