I recently did some research on OnTech Smart Services and found that there are more people who are unhappy with their services than those who are satisfied. One of the main issues that people seem to have is that the service representatives lack technical knowledge. However, in my personal experience, I had a few service installs done, including a Nest Hello Doorbell at my new home. The technician who came to install the doorbell was friendly and seemed to know what he was doing.

However, after the installation, we noticed that our door chime no longer worked. We used to have a physical door chime, but now we could only tell when someone was at the door through our Google Home Hub. One day, our internet was out, and we couldn't hear the doorbell at all. This made us realize that we needed to have the physical chime installed as a backup. When I called OnTech to fix the issue, they wanted to charge me another $100, even though it was a faulty install. This was frustrating, especially since the technician had taken the part that connects to the door chime, which meant that we had to buy another one.

Despite this issue, the other installations that were done were okay, which is why I gave OnTech Smart Services a 2-star rating instead of a 1-star rating. However, I do think that they need to improve their customer service and technical knowledge to ensure that their customers are satisfied with their services.

Justin from Ontechsmartservices mounted our Samsung Frame TV and he did a great job! He really knows his stuff and was super professional. He was really amazing and so thoughtful. We've had a lot of in-home services before, but Justin was definitely the best. We're so happy with the work he did and would definitely recommend Ontechsmartservices to anyone looking for a great TV mounting service. Thanks Justin and Ontechsmartservices!

I bought a smart lock from Google and got it installed by Ontechsmartservices. Justin was the dude who put it in. He called me before he came and said he was on his way. Justin was super nice, talked a lot, and told me everything I needed to know. It was a great time!

Byron was the technician who came to our house to install a bunch of new gadgets. He put up cameras, thermostats, WiFi mesh, and a video doorbell. He was really nice and helpful. He explained everything to us and gave us lots of options to choose from. He was also really good at communicating with us. He answered all our questions and made sure we understood everything.

Byron was a really thoughtful guy. He took the time to make sure everything was set up correctly and working properly. He even gave us some tips on how to use our new gadgets. He was also really good at customer service. He made sure we were happy with everything and that we had everything we needed.

We were really impressed with Byron's service. He was such a nice guy and he really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We will definitely be requesting him again when we need more work done.

One thing that really stood out to us was how Byron handled a mistake we made. We accidentally placed our work order at our old address. Byron didn't get upset or angry. He just asked for our new address and came over 15 minutes later. He even apologized to us, even though it was clearly our fault. That kind of service is really memorable and we appreciate it.

Overall, we had a great experience with Ontechsmartservices and Byron. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs help with their gadgets. They are really good at what they do and they provide excellent customer service.

I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed out about my experience with Ontechsmartservices. I had a Ring doorbell installation scheduled for yesterday afternoon between 4 and 6 PM, and I was really looking forward to finally having some peace of mind when it comes to my home security. I got an email that morning confirming the appointment, so I was feeling pretty good about everything.

But then, things started to go downhill. I waited and waited, but no one showed up. Finally, at 5:59 PM, I decided to give the company a call to see what was going on. That's when I found out that my appointment had been moved - to between 9:30 and 10:45 PM! Are you kidding me? Who in their right mind is going to let a stranger into their home at that hour?

To make matters worse, there was absolutely no notification that my appointment had been changed. I spoke with three different people during the evening - Nicole, Desmond, and Andrew - and while they were all sympathetic, they couldn't do anything to help me. Andrew even told me that the installer might not show up until close to midnight, since they're an hour behind me in the Eastern Zone. I mean, seriously? Would he want his own mother to answer the door for a stranger at that hour?

And to top it all off, they already had my credit card payment, which won't be credited back for 8-12 business days. What a scam! They claim to have a 95% favorable rating, but I can't imagine who would be happy with this kind of customer service. And to make matters worse, all of the people I spoke with were working from home, so I couldn't even talk to a supervisor.

Honestly, I would not recommend booking with Ontechsmartservices. If you need professional installation, just find your own electrician. Don't waste your time or money with these guys.

ASAP to discuss this matter further and to schedule a qualified technician to come out and fix the issues with my Nest products. I expected better from Ontechsmartservices, especially since I paid extra for their tech support and installation services.

I have to say, I was excited to have my Nest Doorbell, Nest Lock, and Nest Thermostat installed. However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment and frustration when the AC kept cutting off after the thermostat was installed. I called Ontechsmartservices to get a technician to come back, but they said the best they could do was schedule someone for Saturday, which was four days away. That was unacceptable, especially since it was over 100 degrees outside.

I asked to talk to tech support, but the guy I spoke to didn't troubleshoot anything. He said it sounded like a wiring problem and I'd have to wait for a tech. That's when I decided to start troubleshooting myself by searching the web. I found out that the thermostat was rebooting and turning the AC off every time it rebooted. One of the solutions was to check for software updates, which I did. I found out that the software was almost a year old and there had been many software updates. Why wouldn't a tech ensure that the equipment they are installing was up to date? I also found out that the thermostat was loose at the base and I believe it's defective as it doesn't have a good connection.

These are basic installation steps that every tech should perform. I paid extra for a year's worth of tech support as well as paid for installation, but neither of which were able to do their jobs properly. I'm not sure if there are any other things that aren't working or set up correctly, but I'd like a qualified technician to come and take a look at it. Someone who knows what they are doing.

To say that I'm disappointed, frustrated, and feel ripped off is an understatement. The level of customer service and technical ability of Ontechsmartservices should be embarrassing to them. I expected better from them, especially since I paid extra for their services.

In conclusion, I would like a supervisor to contact me ASAP to discuss this matter further and to schedule a qualified technician to come out and fix the issues with my Nest products. I hope that Ontechsmartservices can rectify this situation and provide the level of service that they promised.
